Charles Worthington Secrets Collection : Moisture Seal - Overnight Ultimate Hair Healer Review

My hair is something I really like to take care of so whenever I can I try to use intense treatments and masks to help it looking and feeling great.
Since having my hair cut into a bob a year ago I have been on a mission to grow my hair back thick and healthy! So when I saw this mask type product the other week I thought it would be another perfect thing for me to try out!
This is a Charles Worthington product and it is from the "Secrets Collection". The collection is a tad more expensive than your usual CW products and are all high quality treatments...... definitely worth a lookie if you fancy giving your hair an extra bit of loving!

My hair recently has been super dry and frizzy especially on the ends (I think it's down to the fact I've been running low on my Morroccanoil!) and seeing as this stuff is made especially for these problems it seemed like a god send product to invest in!
All you have to do with this stuff is pump it out of the bottle and whack it on your dry hair! It's better if you don't have any products or build up in your hair already but it's no problem if you do!
I've included some information and facts from the bottle in the photo below for you all as I'm sure the lovely people at Charles Worthington can tell you alot more than I can!
But what I CAN tell you is how I found the product.....
As you can see below the substance is a little like a thin gel, it smells lovely and goes through your hair so easily, although if you have thick hair you'll probably need a fair bit to fell like you are fully covered.
I was expecting my hair to feel really greasy like when I cover my hair in coconut oil but this stuff more or less soaks into your hair leaving you free to carry on like normal. It's more like you've used a styling product all over your hair than a thick treatment and I'm a massive fan of this!
It says it's an"overnight" hair healer but obviously you can whack it on whenever you have a spare few hours, I used it on my day off and even popped to the shop with it in my hair - it's that invisible!
I'm super impressed with this stuff and can't wait to keep reaping the benefits of it!
After just one use my hair felt so much more silkier, smoother and alot less frizzy (thank goodness!) and I can tell that this is going to have so many positive affects on my barnett!
This stuff is priced at £14.99 and I got 500 extra advantage card points in Boots for buying it (aka £5) so really it was a win-win buy!

Have you tried any of the Secrets Collection yet?

Rimmel Apocalips - Across The Universe & Eclipse Review

If you have read my blog or my tweets over the last few months you will know that I LOVE the Apocalips range from Rimmel.
If you haven't tried them yet then shame on you, you are missing out! For more information and too see the original 8 shades check out my post about them that I wrote back in July!

So when I heard there were new shades being released I got highly excited and had to head to Boots to invest in more of the collection!
I picked these 2 shades of the lip lacquer as they look perfect for Autumn/Winter. I've been buying alot of darker, warmer colours recently and have really fallen in love with them!
As you've probably read in my other posts in previous years I haven't had the confidence to wear darker, vampy colours but now I am all for it and feel much more confident in wearing bolder shades!
Across The Universe is a deep red and Eclipse is a dark purple shade - both perfect for A/W! I've been wearing these alot and know they are going to be used just as much as the rest of my collection which I have been living in over the summer!
They are £6.49 each and I think they are worth every penny!
The formula for these are just perfect, as thick and pigmented as a lipstick (they are basically a liquid lipstick!) and they stay on for hours and hours.
They have a really creamy texture with no stickiness and in my opinion are the best of both worlds. I cannot recommend them enough!

Have you tried any of the Apocalips range yet? I give Rimmel 10/10 for them!

Sleek i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette - Au Naturel

I am a sucker for netural eyeshadow colours.
I'm not really one for wearing wacky, bright or rainbow colours on my eyes - just for the plain and honest reason that I just cannot pull them off so I'm always going for browns and creams... what a bore!
I love a natural smokey eye and it is pretty much my deafult make-up when I'm doing a proper full-face. I have been using my Naked palette non-stop since I got it and even though I love it like a sister I'm starting to want some new palettes and shades to play around with when doing my make-up ..... queue my new Sleek palette from the i-Divine collection - Au Naturel.
I'm always so impressed with everything I purchase from Sleek and this has been no exception!
A gorgeous selection of 12 netural shades with both matte and shimmer formulas. This cost me £7.99 and I purchased it from Boots, although I'm sure it is available in Superdrug too! A fraction of the price of a naked palette with some fantastic colours!
You get this plastic sheet inside the palette with all the names of the shades on which is really handy but I'm praying I'll never loose it! (Although I suppose I can now always come onto here and read the names.... genius!)

From left to right :
TOP  - Nougat, Nubuck, Cappuccino, Honeycomb, Toast, Taupe.

BOTTOM  - Conker, Moss, Bark, Mineral Earth, Regal, Noir.

I'm loving having some new shades to play around with and for the price the quality is fab! Highly pigmented and I can tell they are going to last a long time.
Great for both daytime and for big nights out there is such a great variety for both light and dark colours!
My favourites have to be Conker & Taupe I think!
Another fantastic purchase from Sleek - everytime I buy a product from them I fall in love with them more and more!

Do you recommend any Sleek products or have you tried out any of the other eyeshadow palettes?

The Making Of Harry Potter Studio Tour

I LOVE HARRY POTTER and this week was super super exciting for me as I got to go to the Warner Bros Studios in Watford and go on the Harry Potter Studio Tour.
This is something I have been wanting to do since it opened so when my friend and I spontaneously booked the trip a few weeks ago I couldn't have been happier!
I have to say if you are a Harry Potter fan this is something you just HAVE to do!
The amount there is just so exciting and fascinating and all the staff are amazing at their job and try and make the experience as perfect as they can for you!

So I thought I'd share a few photos with all all of my adventure at the Studio (not all 300 that I took don't worry!) - if you aren't a HP fan I'm sorry but if you are.... you will understand my excitement!
Even though we rocked up 2 hours early for our booked tour *opps!* we were able to get straight into the main queue and wait for the next tour which worked out fantastically for us (as we don't live that close)!
The Cupboard Under The Stairs - Loved being able to check this out whilst waiting in the queue to enter the tour.
The Great Hall - This is so iconic and it was so so surreal to be in there - alot smaller than you would think! The guide with us at this point was telling us so mny interesting facts aswell! I loved all the dressed mannequins aswell
The Yule Ball Costumes - Costumes from the 4th movie, Emma Watson has got to be so so tiny!
Wigs, hair and make-up - obviously this is something which majorly interested me! The amount of detail that had gone into everything was just astonishing. From full-heads of hair to eyebrows to chest hair - it was all there on display, amazing.
Hogwarts Entrance Gates - A lovely member of staff offered to take a photo of the both of us - I love it!
Potion's Classroom - A lot of facts about this set which were really interesting. One being that it wasn't always used for the classroom and has been in lots of the other movies as different sets!
The Half Blood Prince's Book - An iconic prop from the 6th movie.
Dumbledore's Office - This was stunning, can you spot the 2 Dumbledore's?
Muggle Statue - I was always hoping this was going to be on display here. It looks amazing in the movies and I really wanted to see it in real life. The detail and work that has done into this is incredible.
The Chamber Of Secrets Entrance - Another iconic part of set - I'm sure you all recognise this.
Green Screen Experience - This was really fun, we got to film a little video and pose for a photo with a green screen, super clever stuff and we didn't have to queue for long! Of course we had to get the photo each, it was £8 but so worth it!
Number 4 Privet Drive - This was one of the sets that was outside and one of my favourites - we were so lucky the sun was shining for us!
The Hogwarts Bridge - For some reason it was closed which was a shame, normally you can actually walk through it, but it was still really cool to see it in real life.
Diagon Alley - as it was Halloween week the alley had been taken over my Death Eaters, can you spot one?

Hogwarts - By far my favourite part of the tour - the model of Hogwarts is bigger than you would ever imagine it too be, it is incredible. It goes through day to night every few minutes or so, so you can see it at all times of day. Beautiful.

And then it was the gift shop.... maybe I'll out up a haul soon :)

I have soooo many more photos but I won't bore you with them all! Have any of you guys been? I cannot wait to go back!

Bourjois Paris - Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer Review

I cannot stop buying primers
I am so easily sold on products that tell me they will give me a 'flawless complexion, a perfect smooth base and an airbrush look.'
So when I saw Bourjois's new primers I knew that I had to try them and now, once again, I have a new product to share with you all.
The happy light range is the new range from Bourjois Paris which consists of two different primers, a concealer and a foundation.
I choose this primer as it is said to give a "luminous complexion in any light". I'm all about highlighters and glowing skin. I am, in fact, obsessed with it. I love the dewy, glowing look and am always buying products to help me create this look.
Not into the glowing, shimmery look? Well girls there is also another version of the happy light primer -a matte version which is the same price!
As this is a new product it is of course - on offer! I got this from Boots and it was only £6.99 instead of the usual £10.99! (another £4 to spend on make-up right there!)
This stuff looks and feels amazing! You pump it out and it is a baby pink colour, but just rub it in a little and it dissappers leaves a smooth, silky illuminating base for any foundation!
I have been loving wearing this and have really noticed through the day that my skin has looked alot more awake and dewy, without looking greasy! I am definitely going to be trying out the foundation version too and maybe either the other Happy Light primer aswell - another winner from Bourjois in my opinion!

Any of you guys tried this out yet? What are your thoughts?

Accessorize Lipstick : Shade 6 - Passionate Review

So I know that I've done a couple of "lip" posts recently and I actually have a few more coming up too (I am obsessed  but this is a brand I haven't bought from before so wanted to share my purchase and my thoughts!
So.... I recently went for a little browse around my local Superdrug to see if they had a new products or good deals on and I found myself checking out a stand that I don't normally pay alot of attention too - Accessorize.
The packaging to it all is so pretty and unique and really attracted me to all the products (and not to mention the fact they all have moment off at the moment!)
I settled on a lipstick (of course, this is me we're talking about!) and it is shade 6 and called Passionate.
Now these lipsticks are normally £4.95 - a pretty good price as it is but they have £1 off at the moment so are the bargain price of £3.95!
I also managed to use some of my Superdrug points that I had - a whopping.... £2, which bought it down to just £1.95 - now that is a steal!
I chose this colour as I am currently on the hunt for more Autumn shades for my collection. I have so many pinks, corals, purples and reds and I think I need some more dark and sultry colours to choose from!
Even though it looks black in the tube it is a really really dark purple! A colour that in previous years I have been way too chicken to wear but now I am all for it - bring it on, I am taking the plunge!
This is a perfect purple colour and I think it would suit a number of skintones and hair colours!
I would like to apologise for the rubbish lighting for the swatch, as you can probably tell as you go through these photos the sun went down on this particular 'photoshoot' haha! Hopefully I'll be able to tweet or Instagram a better photo soon!

Have you guys tried anything from Accessorize's cosmetics? Make sure you enter my giveway girls and boys - link in the sidebar!!!

No7's FREE Perfect Lips Kit Review

I'm always up for a bargain and even more so for a freebie!
So when I saw that No7 had a beautiful free kit up for grabs I was straight in there!
All you have to do to qualify for this amazing offer is purchase 2 or more items from the no7 make-up range!  Easy peasy! And a total steal in my opinion as the kit itself is worth £25 with it including a lipstick, a lipgloss and a lip brush.

The items I bought to get this kit were - the Stay Perfect Amazing Eyes Pencil in Black £6.50 and the Stay Perfect Smoothing & Brightening Eyeshadow Base £7. I feel like eyeliners run out so quickly so it is always nice to have a few right? I've also been dying to try out a new eyeshadow base so this was perfect!
The total of these was £13.50 and with it I received the lips kit which is worth £25 I believe - bargain. To be fair I was sold by the lipstick alone, I have another one of the Stay Perfect lipsticks and it is such amazing quality, getting one for free was a no brainer for me!
As you can see above you recieve 3 items in the lips kit.
A Lipstick, a lipgloss & a lip brush. First up the lipstick...
This is the No7 Stay Perfect lipstick in Classic Rose. If you have been reading my blog for a while you will remember me doing a post a little while ago about another one of these lipsticks in the shade - Gay Geranium.
The quality of these is amazing, just one coat and the colour is so thick and pigmented (as you can see in the swatch) and this is the perfect daytime, casual colour for me!
Up next is the high shine lipgloss! This is in the shade Smile and it is a really pretty pale pink. Perfect on its own or to pair with a lipstick. This is a great shade for just a tint of colour on your lips and I know it is probably going to live in my handbag for top-ups on the go!
It also comes with a gorgeous lip brush - which is super handy for me as I don't actually own that many!
I would only use this sort of thing if I was doing my make-up for a big night out/occasion - normally I just chuck lipstick on and head out the door but I think this is fab for that extra detail!
Have any of you managed to pick this bargain up aswell? I'm so so pleased with it!

Have you entered my 500 followers giveway yet? Lots up for grabs - head on over to the post and enter now!

MAC Eyeshadow - Cranberry Review

I love mac and everything I own from them I treasure like a child. It's not a brand I can always afford and I have to really love something to splash out the money for it, even though I always know it will be worth it!
Something I have been looking at for a long, long while and totally lusting over is this eyeshadow, Cranberry.
I was in Bournemouth recently which is actually the closest MAC to my hometown on the Isle Of Wight - other than that it is London (way too far to travel for an eyeshadow!!)
Alot of my Mac purchases are bought online or on holiday and it's always exciting when I get new stuff... yes I'm that cool.
This shadow that I have been seen everywhere for months and months and even though it is only £12.50 (in the long run, not that expensive!) it has taken me a while to cough up the cash for it!
It is a gorgeous shimmery red/purple/copper colour, the best way to describe it - Cranberry. (funny that!)
I'm sure you have all seen this by now but if you haven't I'm sure you are falling in love right now!
This is definitely has more of a purple tint in real life  than the photos are making out - 'boo you whore camera!' but as you can see the colour and quality is of course amazing!
This is an absolutely perfect colour for Autumn and a fantastic addition to any collection!
I cannot wait to use it again and create some great smokey eyes with it!
And if this isn't the sort of colour you've used before -don't worry, me either - I was a little nervous it would look a bit crazy and OTT on me but it is subtle and blends so well, I used it along side my Urban Decay Naked palette and it worked great!

Have you bought this badboy yet? Any other Autumn coloured shadows you can recommend to me?
