The Lipstick Tag

I know what you're going to say.. another tag post? But yes! I recently saw this tag post on the lovely Shona's blog (freshbeautyxox) and knew that I had to get involved!
I love lipsticks, they are my weakness so this is the perfect post for me!

How many lipsticks do you own?
Well I've just had a round-up and a count and I can't believe that I actually own....59 lipsticks!!! (and counting... as there's a few I have my eye on) That is just basic lipsticks, not even including lipglosses, lipblams etc etc - I think this is alot?! What do you guys reckon? Am I ridiculous?

What was your first ever lipstick?
Wow.... I cannot remember! I'm nearly 24 now so the first lipstick I had was a good while ago! It was probably something that my Mum gave me, probably from Avon! I do remember buying Nivea's "Pearl & Shine"  (don't know if it's still called that!) when I was about 12 when it first came out though!

What is your favourite brand for lipstick?
Well I LOVE Mac lipsticks - but they aren't something I buy lots of as... well... I cannot afford it! I only own about 5! The brand I use most and my favourite "drug-store" brand though is Rimmel! I have so many amazing lipsticks from them, they never dissappoint.

What is your most worn lipstick?
My go-to lipstick has been the same for years, Rimmel's Kate Moss Lipstick in shade 20! It is my favourite for a (*classic phrase alert...*) 'pop of colour'! Whether it is for a big night out or just popping out to town I love this shade!

What is your favourite finish?
Erm... I'm not very good at this?! Lustre? Whatever Rimmel's Kate Moss lipsticks are - they are a great finish!
My Current Favourites

What was the last lipstick you bought?
Well I've actually been on a make-up ban for a month (go me!) so it's been a good few weeks since I've bought one. But I think it was probably either Mac Rebel or Rimmel's Moisture Renew Lipstick in the shade Dark Night Water-loops.

How many lip products do you currently have in your bag? (including glosses and balms)
8. I have my Collection Little Mix Perrie Lipstick, Mac's M.A.C. Red Lipstick, Sleek's Mystic Lipstick, Baby Lips in Pink Punch, Barry M's Bubblegum lipgloss, 2x Nivea Lip Butters & Rimmel's Apocalips in Across The Universe!

What lipstick do your use to rock a red lip?
I have a few that I like to use! Mac's M.A.C. Red lipstick, Rimmel Kate Moss 107 Lipstick and Apocalips in Big Bang & Across The Universe.

How do you store your lipsticks?
I actually have  little tand which holds 24 lipsticks - this is what I keep my current favourite and most-worn in. The others are all in a draw bt I am hoping to buy some more holders soon so I can fit all of them out!

What lip products are you currently lusting after?
Next on my list to buy is another one of the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks. It is the shade Oxford Street Fuschia and it is a gorgeous baby pink!

So there we have it the Lipstick Tag - I would love for you girls too join in so... I tag you ALL! Please let me know if you do it, I would love ot read all about your collections and favourites!

Empties #2

Yes, my 2nd empties post is here already! Not long since my first I know but like I said in that, I always seem to run out of things at the same time - typical!
This empties post has a variety of products from body to hair to cosmetics, some have lasted a long long time and some a things I use daily!

1. Soap & Glory's The Scrub Of Your Life - I have talked about this before, it is one of my favourite ever scrubs!
This stuff is fantastic - I love the classic Soap and Glory scent and a little goes a long way! I had been using this probably once or twice a week and it has lasted months! The main reason I love this scrub is because it helps target those annoying red bumps on the back of my upper arms ... come on I know some of you must have those too, it has basically cleared them for me - a miracle product! (I already have a replacement bottle in my shower)

2. Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic - This is one of my daily skincare products. I use it both in the morning after my shower and in the evening after removing my make-up! It leves my face feeling revived and refreshed whilst maing sure it is super clean before I add any cream, serum or make-up to my face. A product I couldn't live without, I probably get through one of these per month.

3. Lee Stafford Argan Oil Deep Nourishing Treatment - I bought this along with the matching shampoo and conditioner from the collection (which I am also nearly out of)!
As you all know I'm a major Lee Stafford fan girl! So when these products were 3 for £20 a little while ago I had to pick them up! Of course they are fantastic on my hair, I love how strong, smooth and silky it feels after using this treatment - especially after recently having a full head of bleach highlights done, it is so important to look after your hair and even more so if you abuse it with colour like I do!

4. Maxfactor Masterpiece Max Mascara - By far my favourite "drug-store" mascara! If you like brushes which are comb-like then this is the mascara for you. I have used this for years, I've tried so many others and I always seem to come back to this old faithful beauty!

5. Soap & Glory Hand Maid Hand Gel - I'm not sure how many of these I've ever been through. I am a serial hand sanitiser user, I use this stuff like it's going out of fashion! I love this soap and glory one as it smells so nice and does last for a good while even if you use it like crazy like me!

Have you run out of anything lately? All of these products are going to be repurchased!

The Christmas Tag 2013

I Love Christmas. It is by far my favourite time of year and what I love most is the build up - the music, the movies, the food... the 1 million social events that are going on - I love it! So when I was tagged to do "The Christmas Tag" by Rebecca at Flores Y Moda I did a high pitched squeal, got out a mince pie and sat down to check out the questions!

1. What is your favourite Christmas song?
Hmm... this is a tough one! I feel like I'm going to have to say Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You! A total and utter obviously classic and obviously choice too but just the sound of the first few jingly notes gets me so so excited! I love it when the little girl sings it at the end of Love Actually! Also the fact that Ariana Grande is releasing Christmas songs has me very much excited!

2. Which is your favourite festive drink?
Well I'm sure everyone else is going to write "gingerbread latte" blah blah blah and as much as I love the sound of that.... I hate coffee! (and don't even get me stated on mald wine)! So there really isn't anything I love at Christmas that isn't a drink I'd have all year round! #boring

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas film?
I have about a million! I love Love Actually (obviously), The Grinch (Taylor Momsen is a babe!), Home Alone 1 & 2, The Holiday, Elf (big lols), Nativity (more lols) & The Santa Clause!

4. What is at the top of your Christmas wish-list this year?
I really don't know, I keep being asked and I just don't know!

Money towards a 2014 holiday would be #1 I think! Also, of course, the Naked 3 palette (I NEED it!) and maybe a few bits for my new home! (not to mention the driving lessons, michael kors watch, mulberry bag and that life-time supply of chocolate...)

5. What is your favourite festive makeup or nail art look?
I am really loving dark lips - I did a whole post recently on my favourite purple shades! Dark sultry colours are fab on eyes, lips and nails - gorgeous! I also love glitter nail shades for christmas - I have red glitter at the moment and it's making me feel super festive!

6. What is your favourite outfit at Christmas time? (LBD? Christmas jumper? PJ's?)
Normally I would always stay in my pjs, I love being cosy on Christmas morning - running round in my onesie! But as soon as other people come round I pop on some normal clothing - nothing fancy though. And believe it or not... I've never really made an effort with make-up or hair on christmas day before (don't judge me!).

7. Would you rather play out in the snow or enjoy it from inside with the fire and a cuppa?

Ooo can I not have both? Play in the snow until I am too cold then head inside for a cup of tea nd a mince pie - perfect!

8. Wrapping presents - love or loathe?

Loathe.
9. What is your favourite Christmassy food?
Well... Christmas dinner is by far the greatest meal ever invented. Also...Mince pies!!! Ever since I was little I have always loved them - and never understood how other people can't!

10. What is your favourite thing about Christmas?

That feeling you get - you know what I mean, the dark nights, the lights, the deorations, the foods, the music, the movies - everything just gives you that excited festive feeling!

I tag you ALL to do this tag! If you love Christmas like I do..... get involved!

Nails Of The Week : Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead

Just a quick post today and maybe the start of a new series for me!
I get my nails done by one of my lovely friendsevery few weeks and I thought it was about time I started sharing them with you (as I always love them!)
So now, each time I get my nails done I will try and upload and share them with you!
This week I decided I wanted a Wizard Of Oz theme as well....I am a bit of a fan (can you tell?)! So after looking into a few themes I decided red glitter would be a must! Hello ruby slippers!
So what else to have with it? The socks of the Wicked Witch Of The East of course!
I always have gel nail extensions and the colours are always shellac - perfect for a glamorous and flawless look!

What do you think? Any ideas for my next look? Only a few more weeks and it will be time for Christmas nails!

Xmas Gift Guide: Joules Terrific Treats Bath Wash Trio

Christmas is coming... I cannot believe it is that time of year already!
So as always all those fabulous gift sets and bargain offers are hitting the shelves!
I love both giving and receiving pampering treats you always know that if you get someone a nice bath/body set they'll use it (why wouldn't they?!) so they always make fabulous xmas gifts!
The set I am reviewing today is from a brand that I haven't actually used myself previously (but have heard of, of course) and that is Joules!
This is the Sensational Skin Care Kit or the " Terrific Treats Bath Wash Trio" and it consists of 3 300ml products.
Like I said before I haven't previously tried any Joules products so when the opportunity arose I couldn't wait to try them - I love finding new brands to fall in love with!
First up I want to say how much I love the packaging! It comes a super cute floral box (which I haven't pictured very well here sorry!) which I am now using it as storage, it is fantastic to stand my products in in the bathroom and looks gorgeous!

The 3 products in this gift set are the :
Sensational Skin - Body Wash Soufflé 300ml
Superbly Smooth -Body Butter 300ml
Lovely Scrubbly - Body Scrub 300ml
They all have the same scent - a gorgeous sweet but fresh smell which isn't too over powering! It actually reminded me of something and when I asked my Mum she told me it's because she uses Joules all the time - no wonder I recognised it!
I was so excited to start trying this trio, especially as lots of my shower stuff seemed to have run out at the same time!
All 3 steps foare just £18 - that's just £6 per tub and at 300ml per tub that is a bargain, after using this stuff for a few weeks now I can tell that it is going to last ages!
First up is the body soufflé. This is the first sort of product like this that I have used. I usually use a shower gel but this stuff is totally different.
Like a thick body butter for the shower, all you need a small scoop which feels like a moisturiser but lathers up like a gel.
It's like a shower conditioner and I've actually found it works so well when used after the scrub (up next) - it makes my skin feel so smooth, soft and fresh! Top marks - it's like a pampering treat.. everyday!
Scrubs are something I like to use alot - especially at this time of the year with dry skin and fake tan prep! I have so many favourites which are mainly soap and glory and normally I find them hard to beat but this stuff is lovely. The grains are just like sand but it doesn't feel harsh like some other scrubs, leaving my skin perfectly exfoliated, soft and smelling yummy!
Last but not least is the body butter named Superbly Smooth! This is a fantastic finishing touch to the set, perfect for your whole body and what amazing quality!
Thick and creamy this stuff keeps my skin hydrated and smelling lovely.

All in all this is a fantastic gift set! The quality is superb (just like the name of the butter!) and I think the value for money is top notch! You get so so much of each product - they will last for months and months!
You can get this set in Boots - along with lots of other Joules goodies, and they are all (as far as I know) in the 3 for 2 Christmas offer, barry bargain central!
So whether you're looking at treating yourelf or planning those Crimbo pressies I highly recommend this trio, high five Joules - I am impressed!

Have you tried any Joules? What are your favourite gifts to buy people?

Don't forget - my giveaway will be ending in the next week - click here to check it out and enter for your chane of winning 5 of my all-time favourite products!

(***Disclaimer : This product was kindly sent to me  to try out by the lovely people at Joules . All thoughts, opinions and ideas are always my own and I would never include an item or product on A Yellow Brick Blog that I didn't truly believe in.)

I'm a Beauty Blogger, Get Me Out of Here!

I love a good tag post .... and I love I'm a Celeb - so when the lovely Katie from Subtle Coral tagged me to do this post- I'm A Beauty Blogger Get Me Out Of Here - I couldn't wait to get writing!
I've been thinking about doing a new tag post recently and this one seemed perfect - quick, fun and easy , I love both reading and writing posts like this!
No products? Stuck in a jungle? Facing my fears? What would I do?!

1) You can only take ONE product into the jungle (aka your luxury item). What would you choose and why?
One? ... okay, I'm not sure on this jungle thing! I think I'd say my tangle teezer - I can't stand the feeling of my hair being knotty, even if it's on top of my head!

2) What would be your main pre-jungle worry?
Oh without a doubt.... SNAKES. My biggest fear in life - I don't think I would actually sleep if I was there! Also the toilet situation would freak me out a little.....eww.

3) You only have five minutes to get ready before going into the jungle, what would be your quick beauty routine?
Mascara (although this may just be cried off if I'm sky-diving...) , moisturise my whole body (of course something with an SPF), French plait my hair -Katniss style, a nice pink lipgloss, DEODORANT, brush my teeth & add some of my fake bake shimmer brick to my cheeks! (Yes, I CAN do all of that in 5 minutes!)

4) Last year we saw Helen Flanagan wearing her hair in a top bun. What would be your signature hairstyle?
I think it would definitely be either a bun (quick, easy, comfortable) or like I said before the french plait. I'm always wearing my hair like Katniss to work - I can do it s quickly and it just stays out of the way all day and I don't have to re-do it, perfect for jungle life I'd say!

5) For moral support, which female celebrity would you like to be in the jungle with you?
Someone like Jenna Marbles so I could be silly and stay entertained and happy all the time! Oh she's also a massive girl crush so looking at her would probably make me happy that I was only eating rice and beans! #hottie! or obviously Jennifer Lawrence - she just seems awesome.

6) Everyone’s given a role in the camp. What lifestyle skill would you bring to the jungle?
Lifeskill.... lifeskill.... hmm.....kind of lacking in those! Maybe seeing the funny side in all situations! I'd like to think I could be there to help keep everyone positive and happy! I also like being quite creative so maybe that could help around the campsite! I once used a hanger as a bottle opener dontcha know (genius)! I'd love to say cooking or cleaning but alas.... I'm not the best!

7) What one thing about being a beauty blogger sometimes makes you want to scream ‘Get Me Out Of Here’?
Time! I work full-time... and also like having a social life (duh!)- so having enough time to blog as much as I have planned/want to can be hard! I WISH it could be my job - that would be living the dream!

8) Challenge – This is a once in a life time opportunity. You’re up for a trial to face your fears or try something new, what would you choose to do and why?
Try something new? I would love to do a sky-dive I think. It looks like nothing else and everyone I've ever spoke to who has done one said they loved it - I've always wanted to be able to fly (but that episode of Hollyoaks that time did kind of put me off.....)! I think for me aswell just being out in the middle of a jungle with no contact with the outside world would be a challenge faced in itself!

I tag Liza, Katie, Jo, Megan, Jessica, Rosie, Ellie to head to the jungle next!

Empties #1

Empty products posts are some of my favourite posts to read! I know, like myself, bloggers own and buy a lot of products.... And I mean a lot! So to get down to the bottom and use it all I know it has got to have been a gooden!
So I thought I would start sharing my "empties" with you all as and when I finish them!
Most of the products I finish I will always re-purchased at some point! For me to finish something down to the very last drop means that I seriously love it!
1. Soap and Glory's Sugar Crush Body Wash
Now... How many times have I mentioned this stuff? The sugar crush range from soap and glory is probably my favourite! I love the scent and I love how it makes my skin feel! I have used all 3 of the sugar crush products over the last few months and this has got to be the one I use the most! (In fact I already had a new one waiting for me after this one has run out!) They are £6.50 each which some of you may think is expensive but this stuff lasts me a good month  per bottle! Which if you think about all the cheaper branded bottles you'd probably buy over a 4 week time span works out at about the same price! I think the pump action is great for controlling dis pension and making sure you don't waste the product! Try this stuff and you won't be disappointed!

2. Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
Well this stuff is always going to be in my empties! I buy one of these probably every month and I can easily say it's the best cleanser I've ever used and it would be hard to beat! Like I said before 1 bottle normally takes me a month to use, I love this stuff.

3. Lee Stafford Breaking Hair Conditioner
I've probably worked my way through most of Lee Stafford's products now, I have to say it is my favourite haircare brand!  I cannot live without conditioner and I love switching up my routine and trying out new ones all the time! This has been one stuck in my shower for the last couple of months, along with the breaking hair shampoo and treatment this stuff has made my hair feel amazing over and over - so smooth and strong, I will definitely be repurchasing... just after I've used all the others I have been waiting to try out/use!

4. Maybelline Super Stay 24 hour Concealer
A fab concealer that I've used 98% of! This stuff is great for my horrible under-eye bags and isn't that expensive (approx £6.19) for the amount of time it lasts, a great buy that I will no doubt re-purchase!

5. Moroccanoil Treatment Oil
This stuff is a god send. I actually don't know how I lived without it before! I did a whole post on this oil back in the summer when I first tried it out.  You may think they stuff is expensive at about £13 for just 25ml but that first bottle has lasted me around 4 months! Which crazy seeing as I use it everytime I wash my hair - it is amazing value for money and I already have a new bottle on the go! I could even feel the difference when I couldn't use it for a couple of washes, I don't think I'll find an oil better than this now!

Well there you have it, my first empties post! I hope you have enjoyed it - please let me know what you thought!
There should be another on the way soon , why is it that we seem to run out of everything at the same time!?

Harry Potter Studio Tour Haul

I went to the Harry Potter Studios - yayyyy! Although, you probably already know this by now! I did a blog post a few weeks ago  and I may have tweeted/instagramed and facebooked about it a little bit.
When I did my blog post which you can see here - I said that I may do a little haul of all the things I decided to pick up while I was there, so, guess what - here it is!
I probably spent a little more than I should of here (yolo). I have been to The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter in Florida so already had lots of stuff they were selling (as I went a bit crazy in the gift shops when I was there) but still I was over-excited and had such an incredible day that there was still so much I had to buy!

The Making Of Harry Potter : The Official Guide
I love a good souvenir! This tour guide is great, it is like the whole tour in a book! Loads of photos, sketches and facts that are great to have a look at as  little reminder or share with friends who haven't yet been! I actually purchased it after the tour as I wanted something to help me remember all the different things is seen over the day! It's great and was only about £8/£9!
Postcards
Just some more little things to remember my day - I have a few from Florida aswell so thought it would be great to get some from here too!
Dark Mark Lollipop
This was just a quick present I picked up for my boyfriend when I was there! It was only around £3/4 but I didn't really think he was appreciate a t-shirt or a fluffy the dog plush toy! He is still yet to eat it so I have no idea if if tastes nice or not!
Marauders Map Heat-Activated Mug
I am such a sucker for mugs! They are the sort if thing I always pick up in gift shops!
I think it's because I love tea so much and know they will be used! I fell in love with this mug as soon as I saw it was heart-activated! Yup you heard me right, whenever you fill this beauty up with a yummy hot drink the footprints from marauders map slowly appear - amazing!
I thought I would insert a couple of photos fr you of both sides and how it looks before and after!  It was £12.95 and it is huge - perfect for my green tea addiction!
Hogwarts Magnet
Where I have just moved house into my own place magnets are something I need a lot more of! We only have a couple at the moment so this was a perfect edition to our new fridge/freezer!
Chocolate Frog
Now this is something I knew I was going to buy. After not buying one in Florida and regretting it ever since I knew that I had to get one!
It was £7.95 which of course is a little steep for a chocolate animal but I can honestly say I'd pay it again! Perfect for a Harry potter fan, the chocolate is a lot bigger than I expected and it was actually solid - so you do get a lot for your money! Shame about the card though.... I was hoping for Dumbledore!
Green Screen Photo
This photo was taken in the green screen room! An attraction which is just before half way through the tour!  You can have a go driving the car (which obviously isn't really there....) or you can have a real life broom experience
As there was 2 of us we decided to skip the queue for the brooms and just have a go on the car screen! You get to film a mini video and have your photo taken! Of course we both just had to buy the photo - it was £8, but for me it was totally worth the money! Can't wait to get it framed!

Have you been to the studio tour yet? Did you buy anything? I cannot wait to go back!

Denman D80 Nylon Bristle Grooming Hairbrush

My hair is something I like to look after, and not only the hair on my head but my extensions, hair pieces and everything else I like to clip onto my head too!
There's no point having extensions and things if you aren't going to look after them. You need to look after extensions, hair pieces and wigs just like you would your own hair, so keeping them untangled is the number one rule in my book.
Recently Denman approached me after seeing that I wore extensions and saw my post about the 3/4 wig I had been wearing from Wonderland Wigs. They thought that this brush would be perfect for me - and they weren't wrong!
This is the D80 Nylon Bristle Grooming Hairbrush and it comes in 3 different sizes - Small, Medium & Large.
Small - £6.78
Medium - £8.87
Large - £10.96
The brush I have is the medium (D80M) and it is a great size for me! This brush is made specifically for smoothing, detangling and grooming - all things that are essential in keeping our hair and our "extra" hair looking fit and fabulous.
If you have or have had extensions or hair pieces you know how easy it is for them to get tangled and messy - which is not the easiest thing to sort without ripping half the hair out! This brush is the ideal tool for this.
It has super gentle bristles which makes it really easy to brush through the hair without ripping or straining it. Aswell as this the brush has a lightweight and perfectly balanced handle which  helps with the grip and control whilst in use, making it easy as pie! (...yum....pie.)
They are so soft I have even been using it on my own hair.
If you have read my blog before or seen my post about my haircare routine then you probably know that for the last 3 years or so I have only use tangle teezers.
This has been the first hair brush I have used since then and liked. It feels just as soft and gentle as a tangle teezer - and leaves my hair feeling smooth, soft and thick - I'm really really happy with it. Thank you Denman!

What do you do to ensure your extensions and things stay in perfect condition? Any top tips?

(***Disclaimer : This product was kindly sent to me by the lovely people at Denman . All thoughts, opinions and ideas are always my own and I would never include an item or product on A Yellow Brick Blog that I didn't truly believe in.)

Balmi Moisturising Cute Lip Balm - Strawberry Review

With the weather suddenly taking a major dip in the temperature... it is a bit bloomin' nippy out there - I'm sure, like alot of you, lip balm is now one of my best friends!
I always like to try out new ones out and I'm sure you're all thinking... another lip product? really Kirstie?
But yes, I'm doing it, another post about another lip product is here and this time it is the Strawberry lip balm from Balmi.
I saw this online and I'm not going to lie I was immediately attracted to it because it is fairly new and looks kind of like an EOS lip balm. Something I've been wanting to try in forever and as it was only £4.99 and had a few glowing reviews I thought I'd give it a go!
I bought this from boots.com as they aren't in my local store and aswell as strawberry there are 3 other flavours available  - raspberry, mint and coconut.
I was tempted by the coconut (and think I'll order that next) but settled for Strawberry as it's a scent I always like and it had the best reviews.
The smell reminds me of the natural collection strawberry products from boots - you know the ones! Super sweet and fruity, I love it!
Now this is unlike anything I've used before, in a cube container this product is seriously unique.
All you do is twist the top undone to reveal the triangle shaped product. Now this shape looks a little awkward but it actually makes application so so easy. A quick circular motion with it and your lips are fully covered - and this stuff feels lovely.
Probably not the best if you have a seriously bad chapped lips problems (as it isn't a hard core balm like vaseline or carmex) but just for a lip balm to keep you moisturised, smooth and smelling great this product is fantastic. I think I am actually addicted to applying this.
It also comes with a keyring attachment - perfect for keeping it in an easy accessible place in your bag or attached to your keys!
Like I said before there are 3 other flavours so I definitely think I'll either be adding them to my Christmas list (can you believe it's that time already!) or purchasing them real soon!
But what I still REALLY want to try is an EOS.... I think it's time I bought one!

What are your favourite lip balms? I swear I carry about 18 in my bag 24/7 in the winter!

Lauren's Way Self Tan Mousse & Glam Tan Review

So, winter is upon us. Not only does this mean chapped lips, freezing cold fingers and toes and tights become a staple in the wardrobe but we all get a bit...well.... pale.
I, myself, look like a total ghost in the autumn & winter months so fake tanning is normally key to me looking half normal.
So when the fabulous ladies at Lauren's Way contacted me after I had been raving about their rollers on twitter (seriously they are amazing!) and asked me whether I'd want to try out some of their tanning products I jumped at the chance - seriously who wouldn't!
I had heard so many amazing things about this tan so I jumped straight in and whacked it on as soon as the postman dropped it through the letterbox.
Because I'm fairly fair skinned and not an expert tanner I went for the 'Medium' shade in the mousse - I think this was the safest option for me to start off with!

I do have a confession to make - I normally only tend to tan before a big night out - 1. because I am lazy and 2. because I'm always scared I'm going to totally muck it up.
There is nothing worse than seeing someone with horrific streaks or who is clearly the same colour as a tangerine -I do NOT want this to be me!
I've been using this tan alot over the last few weeks as I have had lots of partys, night outs and general fun-type things to go to!
But for these photos I thought I would just show you the difference from just ONE application!
I found this mousse so easy to use (thank you for the free mitt aswell LW!) Just 1 pump from the bottle goes a long long way and I think the smell is slightly better than the other tans I've used but of course there is still that slight "biscuit smell" that everyone has grown to know and love haha! (although I've never really got that... what biscuit to you people eat?!)
It doesn't take me long to cover my whole body with this stuff and streak free I must say! One thing I was super impressed with is the drying time
Normally I'm flapping around the bathroom trying to get my tan to dry and feel less sticky before I get dressed again but the LW tan dries so quickly - I was so shocked! Massive brownies points for that one girls and boys!
As you can see in the photos there is a huge difference for just one quick once over with the mousse AND this is a developing mousse so you leave it on for approx. 8 hours and then wash it off for the best results - so pop it on before bed and this tan develops while you sleep - easy peasy!
The mousse is priced at £17.95 and the Glam Tan spray (mentioned below) is £18.95 and that comes with a FREE tanning mitt worth £3.99! To me these are total bargain prices, cheaper than St. Tropez and Fake Bake and for, in my opinion, a better product!

With the LW mousse tan I was also sent one of the "Glam Tan" spray bottles! When I fake tan I normally use Fake Bake or St. Mortiz and always go for a mousse, I find it so much easier to use than anything else so this is something that initially scared me a little to try out but I am actually am so impressed with how easy it has been to use!
Where it is quite a bit darker than the 'medium' mousse it took me a lot of courage to try it out but with the mitt the spray technology makes it so easy to apply evenly! So, thank you LW for helping me get out of me mousse comfort zone!

Fake tan has so many benefits - it makes you look healthier, it makes you look skinnier, it makes you feel more confident,  it isn't harmful to your skin and body unlike sunbeds and sun-bathing, you are in control - want to go darker? Do it again tomorrow and the next day! If you need a pick me up with all this gloomy rain and cloud - hit the bottle and you won't regret it!

I can honestly say now - hand on heart - that the LW is the best at-home fake tan I have EVER used and will 100% be purchasing when these bottles have run out, because with the weather as it is and no holidays booked as of yet ... I'm going to need it!

(***Disclaimer : This product was kindly sent to me by the lovely people at Lauren's Way. . All thoughts, opinions and ideas are always my own and I would never include an item or product on A Yellow Brick Blog that I didn't truly believe in.)
