My Top 6 Autumn TV Picks

It's officially Autumn/Fall which in TV terms means new seasons and cheeky new pilots
As a huge TV buff so I'm always looking for a new show to start or am sat patiently waiting for the next season of my favourite show to come back - this year is no exception.
As I know, a lot of you girls and boys are huge TV lovers like myself so I thought what better than sharing my top TV picks for this season.
Scream Queens *NEW*
I had been waiting for this show for MONTHS. The cast and promo photos had me sold before I even knew the plot.
I'm a huge Ryan Murphy fan (Glee, AHS) and knew with the likes of Emma Roberts and Ariana Grande being cast this would be a total hit.
After watching the 2 hour premiere and episode 3 I am HOOKED - it's funny, bitchy, gory... the script is just genius, I can't wait to see what happens.
How To Get Away With Murder Season 2
Oh my goodness, I had nearly forgotten about this little gem, it has been so long since season 1!
Holy macaroni, the twists and turns this show takes are insane - I'm pretty good and guessing a storyline but this has had me shouting 'What?!' 'Noway?!' and the screen more than once already then season.... and there's only been two episodes! If you haven't seen this masterpiece yet then I suggest you go ahead an start it - Viola Davis just won an Emmy for her performance don't ya know!
Modern Family Season 7
Well this is a no-brainer. Modern Family is THE funniest show on TV. Every single episode has me laughing out loud, I can watch them all over and over again! every new season just makes me so happy! (Favourite characters have to be Cam & Phil!)
Dash Dolls *NEW*
Yes it's a Kardashian spin-off.
I'm sure half of you are thinking 'Yes!' and the other half of you are just sat rolling your eyes. I am a total sucker for anything like this, so course it's gone straight on series record! Loving all the girls so far - it looks like it's going to be a fun season!  (p.s. can I have their hair and wardrobes please?)
Once Upon A Time Season 5
SPOILERS written ahead! Don't read if you aren't upto date!
Oh lala!  Disney and fairytale fans rejoice - Once Upon A Time is back and this season Emma has gone baddddd!
Yes the savior is now the dark one and this season is going to be totally different to anything we've seen before, I'm really looking forward to seeing a different acting style from Jennifer Morrison.
If you haven't seen this show before then it's all on Netflix and they upload new episoes weekly straight after they've been aired in the US!
American Horror Story : Hotel (Season 5)
Last but not least..... something we have all been waiting for! Season 5 of American Horror Story, the only show that hasn't quite started yet.
Hotel. Lady Gaga. It's happening.
I'm praying this turns AHS around for me - I'll hold my hands up and admit I wasn't a big fan of Freakshow, for me Aslyum and Murder House have to be the best seasons.
Once again an awesome cast lined up and I'm sure some fantastic writing! Bring it on.

What shows are you looking forward to this upcoming season? Will you be watching these with me?

Kirstie's 2014 Favourites

Happy New Year one and all! I hope you all had a lovely time what ever you did to ring the new year in!
It's 2015 and I am seriously looking forward to the next 12 months aren't you?
Looking back over the last year I definitely tried out my fair share of products! (alot of them at that!)
Hair, skin, make-up.... the list is pretty much endless and with them there has been some obvious stand outs that have been used over and over again and in some cases even repurchased!
So instead of doing a December favourites I thought I would give you my 2014 favourites - with a few added non-beauty related things too!
 Vera Wang Princess Perfume
I bought this when I was on my way to Florida, I've wanted it for so long and decided to treat myself! I love it and now the scent reminds me of Disneyworld - amazing right?
Maxfactor Masterpiece Max Mascara
This year I have fallen totally back in love with this mascara! It is hands down my favourite mascara ever!
MAC Rebel Lipstick
Probably my most worn lipstick this year! I love this shade so much!
Seventeen Phwoarr Paint Concealer
The best concealer everrrrrr. This keeps my bags at bay, I have literally been through about 6 already!
thebalm Bahama Mama Bronzer
You may have seen my review on this a few weeks ago! This has become my everyday bronzer to contour with, it is a matte beauty!
Wicked
Most of you probably know already I am obsessed with Wicked, and this year me and my mummy finally got to see it after years and years of waiting! IT was everything I dreamt of and more - totally incredible, I porbably listen to the soundtrack everyday!
Folli Follie Rose Gold Watch
This was sent to me back in the summer and I have literally worn it every single day since! I honestly think I would be lost without a watch now.
Taylor Swift - 1989
My girl bought out her new album and as per it is totally and utterly perfect! I cannot fault Taylor or 1989 AND I am going to see her again in June, I am SOOOO excited I could cry!
Neal & Wolf Elevate Voluminsing Lotion & Guard Heat Protect Spray
This brand is definitely one of the best finds of the year! The two products I have from them have become firm favs and I cannot wait to try out more of the range this year!
Aveeno Skin Relief Lotion
I first bought this as I had seen a review by another blogger saying how well it had worked for them, and you know... if a blogger likes it - I want it! This is worked so so well on my dry skin, especially the bad patches I get on my shins, I wouldn't use anything else on it now!

My Favourite Blogs Of 2014

I've seen a few people doing these over the past week or so I thought why not share my favourite blogs from the last 12 months!
I have soooo many favourites that I thought I was narrow it down to just 12 (one for each month right?!) and put them into 4 different category's - Inspiration, Informative, Fashion & Personality.
Inspiration
Blogs that I look at in awe, their layouts, their writing, their photographs - I love what these girls do, some of my ultimate favourites!
Liza is one of the first bloggers I started chatting to when I started A Yellow Brick Blog back in 2013! Since then she has constantly been an amazing friend and helping hand! Her blog is hands down one of my favourites! The fact she runs it whilst also  running her amazing youtube chaneel, working and being a Mummy is just incredible! I'm always obsessed with her photography and her looks are perfection!
This is the blog I head to when I want to read about a bit of glam! Kayleigh always seems to be on point with everything fabulous! I love her reviews and her photos are always perfectly thought out and the main focus of the post - I love that! Plus her OOTD's and Instagram are awesome too!
Another blog in which I just sit and stare at the photos are think .... wow! Becky's reviews are always so informative and honest and I love the way she writes! She has that classic blogger knack of making me want to invest in everything she talks about! Lipgloss and Lashes is also now on youtube so make sure you check her out!

Informative
Need a review on a product? Want some facts on things? - one of these girls is sure to have it! Bursting with products all-day-everyday, they are my first stops when checking out the newest stuff on the market or if I need a helpful review to read.
I fell in love with Ree's blog after stumbling across it at work one day. I was googling a new product I wanted to find out more about and up came this blog with so much information and some great photos! If you want to check things out before they've even been released - this is the place to go! Ree seems like such a genuine lovely lady, I hope one day I can create something as brilliant as her!
Another blog which is totally jammed packed with posts day in day out and look how pretty the header is!
I love coming to Gemma's blog after a few days and catching up with the exciting new products she has to flaut! Gemma also has an amazing personality, I love chatting to her - some conversations recently have had me in fits of laughter!
The perfect place to start if you are new to beauty blogs! Hayley has the perfect variety of beauty posts and she is another person I always go to on a weekly basis for a good old catch up! There's always so much to read and I find her blog great for finding new products to try out! Her reviews and posts are some of the most honest out there and I really trust her!

Fashion
I love these girls for their amazing style and variety of posts they do, these 3 are taking the blogging world by storm at the moment! Not going to lie I to sit slightly green with envy when checking out these beauts with their fab style and hot bodys! (plus one of them is a fellow islander! #TeamIOW)

This girl has had an awesome year hasn't she? I love Megan, she is hands down one of the sweetest bloggers I'm lucky enough to chat too and her blog has been one of my favourites since finding it last year! Her style is adorable, she wears everything I couldn't! Her beauty reviews and YT videos are always a hit too - make sure you go and check out this petite little princess!

She has literally taken the blogging and social media world by storm these past 12 months and if you are looking for some outfit inspiration then she girl for you! She has amazing personal style and creates window-display-worthy outfits every single post! Her love for Katy Perry, animals and Evan Peters aswell makes me like her even more!

This purple haired beauty (major hair envy alert!) has the most amazing blog and youtube which are visually just a dream! Her outfits always look incredible and her personal style is to die for! November Favourites 2014

Well, I think this is the latest I have ever put up a favourites post... it's the 11th December already - I do apologise!
November seems like a long old time ago now, but me being me I had written down a list of things I wanted to include in a November favourites post so I have not forgotten!
I was lucky enough to tick something off my bucket list in November and that was to see Wicked.
I have always wanted to see it and for years now I have been praying it would come to our nearest theater, so last year when it was announced it was going to be on at the Mayflower, Southampton my Mum immediately bought us tickets for it and after over a year of waiting we finally got to see it!
It lived upto and exceeded every expectation I had, after listening to the soundtrack for months before it was amazing to finally see the whole story put together. It was a totally faultless and I will hands down be seeing it again for sure. Both witches were incredible and Glinda made me laugh out loud, she was brilliant! Not going to lie.... it was emotional!

After trying out a few products from theBalm in November two of them have found themselves in my new everyday make-up routine. Bahama Mama* and Mary-Lou-manizer* have taken the place of my Sleek contour palette and are now the products I use to contour and highlight! To see my full reviews of these click here and here.

My go-to lipstick of the month had to be Mac's Rebel. My favourite berry shade for the winter, I use this lippy all the time - I'm definitely going to have to re-purchase by the end of this season I reckon!

I think I mentioned these in my last favourites but I'm still using them daily and that is Glade's Honey & Chocolate candle. I have about 4 or 5 of these dotted around my home now, they have been on offer in co-op so I have stocked up while they were cheap! The smell is amazing, it smells a bit like Angel (perfume) and it lasts for hours! Perfect for the home at this time of year.

A new perfume in my life now and that is Kenzo Flower which I have become increasing obsessed with. I got this from my Vivabox* (read about that here!) and have been wearing it constantly since getting it! I know this is more of a light, summery fragrance but because it's new to me I can't help but use it everyday at the moment!

Last but not least is a cheeky clothing item! This Central Perk Friends T-shirt is from Primark and was only £6! Being a huge 'Friends' fan I picked it up straight away, how cute is it? It fits so well, I love cosy everyday t-shirts like this and I have bought quite a few recently from Primarni! Bargain!

What have you been loving recently?

The Lottery Wishlist

Ever sit and dream what you would buy for yourself if you won the lottery?
Don't worry, it's not selfish or silly - it's totes normal! So.....what would you buy if money was no object?
I thought it would be super fun to do a totally unaffordable wishlist, yup.... I really would love these beautiful things but... right now - it's not going to happen!

I owned these until last week and I miss them already! The pair I had lasted for 7 years (amazing right?) but it was about time I said goodbye to them but I am already desperate for a new pair to replace them - if only I had £150 spare eh?

I have the original set from Zoeva but these are just so so pretty - I think they are every bloggers dream!

I've had my ghd's for 10 years.... literally 10 years - I got them for Christmas 2004, so it's probably about time I invested in some new ones! These are again rose gold.... jeez I'm so cliche, but they are so pretty!

I have been using the oil from this brand for over a year now and I love it... the only problem is the price! With my hair getting longer and using more and more each time I wash my hair it becomes expensive! Knowing how much I love the oil I would LOVE to try out the shampoo and conditioner versions!

Could I be anymore cliche and blogger obvious? Yes it's sold out, and yes none of us could afford it but ..... I need it.

With my Ted Baker purse slowly wearing away, a new pretty holder for my money and cards would be high up on my list after a lottery win! This wallet from Mulberry is a beaut!

I've been staring at Olivia Burton watches online for months now - I love the pretty, dainty desgins!

A French Bulldog
I think you all know now that owning a French Bulldog is pretty much a lifelong dream of mine - top of the bucket list!

I am still yet to try anything from the infamous Charlotte Tilbury... and it's killing me! Everything I've seen on other blogs and youtube looks amazing so I would definitely have to invest in some!

If you won the lottery what would be some of your first things you'd treat yourself too?

My Winter Essentials : Lip Balms

Can you believe it's December already? Advent has started - yay! and it's time for another 'Winter Essentials' post!
Lip balms I think are probably on the top of everyones list as a winter essential! Cold weather, air-con and windy wind make our lips chapped, dry and even a bit gross and flaky!
Here's 4 of my top picks for lip balms  - these save me from getting that awful trip-lip that we all dreaded as children.... you know what I mean right?
Vaseline - Limited Edition Queen Bee
Vaseline is a classic, I'm sure 99% of you either own one o these handy tins or have done in the past. This years limited edition is called 'Queen Bee' - I love the name and the packaing alike! The scent is honey... obvs and alot nicer than I was expecting - another one to add to my never ending collection of tins!

Carmex with Jasmine Green Tea
Carmex is a product I have used for years and years so when I see they've bought out new version I always want to try them out. You may remember me sharing this on here a few months ago! I'm a huge Green Tea fan so this is a win win for me! (plus it's my Mum's fav!)

EOS Strawberry Lip Balm
I got this in Florida along with a blueberry version and they have become a huge favourite of mine! This is the lip balm that is currently in my hand bag! It's easy to apply, smells amazing and keeps my lips hydrated!

Nivea Blueberry Blush Lip Butter
Nivea Lip Butter's have been something I've raved about for months and months. They all smell amazing and are just as good as vaseline for keeping the lips chap-free, smooth and soft! A total bargain too at only £2.20ish each!

What are your favourite lip balms for this time of year?
