Boots Christmas 2014 : My Top Picks £5 & Under

Okay, I know it's only October BUT you can never be too early when it comes to Christmas shopping! I've decided to start buying things for loved ones already this year - mainly so I actually have some money left when it come to December and new year!

Boots is a great place to get your Christmas gifts and I've seen so many of you chatting away on twitter about getting the gift guide that's been recently released!

I always love hunting through their Christmas 3 for 2 mix and match pressies and probably buy more for myself than anyone else - opps!

So I thought what better on the lead up to the most wonderful time of the year than a few gift guides to help you on your quests to find the perfect gift for those special people in your life (or those ones you got stuck with in your work's secret santa!).

First up..... £5 and under gifts! (These are going to be mainly girly products but I will try and get a mens gift guide up aswell :)

RHS Collection Sweet Pea Candle - £5

Sweet pea is one of my favourite scents when it comes to products and candles and this little stokcing filler is great for anyone! Who doesn't love a lovely smelling home?

Shot 2 Go Photo Cube - £5
Whether you give this present as it comes or fill the photos in yourself this is cutest little cube for anyones dresser or work space! So much better as a frame as you can have a total mix of photos all on one product!

Baylis & Harding Beauticology Gingerbread Cupcake Footcare Giftset - £5
Baylis & Harding had a similar set out last year which I was really sad about missing out on! By the time I went to order it for myself it was out of stock and I couldn't find it anywhere! Fluffy socks AND cute products for only £5 - yup I'm sold!

Jack Wills Emery Boards - £5
Jack Wills is a brand that's been in my life for  a good few years, living on an island which is surrounded by boats and the 'yauchty' brand is pretty popular here! These nail files are super cute and handy, good for any manicure lover.

Soap & Glory Merry-Kiss-Much Gift - £5
A bauble AND a lip balm in one! I love Soap and Glory stuff and their Christmas lines never seem to disappoint! I've used S&G lip balms before and they are lovely, what better present for a beauty babe!

Ferrero Rocher Collection - £4.69
If all else fails, chocolate is the answer and this Ferrero Rocher box looks lovely and most expensive than it actually is! (Contains Nuts... obviously!)

Collection Little Mix All About The Eyes Palette - £3.19
Yes I now this isn't in the Christmas collection but this is such a lovely little gift for a tiny price tag! If you've got a secret santa to do this lovely neutrals palette is a great idea! Collection make-up is always fantastic quality and if they are a Little Mix fan then it's a double whammy!

Fearne Perfectly Polished Nail Polish Duo Set - £4
Everyone's a fan of Fearne! Her collection for Boots each Christmas is always a best seller and this year I'm sure will be no exception! Again, the perfect stocking filler for girls ad women alike!

Boots Half Price Sale Haul Part 3

I've been loving all your comments and also loving the amount of you that say you are heading to Boots - there are so so many bargains to get!

 One Direction Our Moment 50ml Gift Set

First up... sorry about the horrific photo - majorly bad lighting here, I've been trying to fit in photo-taking before I go to work in the mornings - nightmare!

I have been spraying this on myself where I work for months and months - don't judge me but I just love the scent! I like 1D, not a huge crazy directioner but yes I do I like them (who doesn't?!)! But I do have to say I did buy this set due to the scent and not because it is by 1D! It is a sweet smell - my favourite kind, comes in a gorgeous bottle and the 50ml bottle sold separately is worth approx £28 - so why would I not want the whole set for half that price?! 

Soap & Glory I'm Your Manicure Set

Yup it is once again ANOTHER Soap & Glory product - I like them okay! This is a gorgeous manicure set ... we all know how much I love having my nails done and looking girly!
or just £7 you receive a full-sized Hand Food hand cream (worth £5 alone!), the Scrub + Happiness dry hand smoothing scrub (something I have never seen before so am super excited to try out!), a gorgeous baby pink polish called Pink Soda, a pair of pink moisture gloves to give your hands a fab pick me up, a buff and shine nail file and an orange stick! Amazing hands here I come!

Joules Fantastic Bath Fizzes

First up, how cute is this packaging! Joules stuff always looks so cute! I tried this brand for the first time earlier this year and fell in love so when I saw how cheap these were I had to invest. I don't have a Lush near where I live so bath bombs and fizzes aren't something I buy alot so these are an exciting treat I can't wait to use!

Fearne Eye Collection

I couldn't buy the lip kit and not the eyes... that would just be rude! Right? I love Fearne's stuff and these colours looked to pretty to resist! I love soft eye crayons like these, especially to line the eyes - they look gorgeous! You also get an eyeliner with the it - so 5 items for £6!

Boots Extracts Cranberry Collection

WAS £10 NOW £5

Once I'd bought one (Cocoa Butter) I couldn't just stick to the one. The saving on these sets are so great that I thought I might aswell just invest in a year or two's worth of body wash, scrubs and butters! These smell fab and love it when all three match! Lovely Jubley!

Boots Half Price Sale Haul Part 1

Hello again you lovely lot! 
So it has been nearly a WEEK since I last posted and it actually has felt like a lifetime. But in my defence it has been the week of festiveness (aka Christmas) so I have been super busy with family, friends and work (booo hiss booo) !
Now we all know what comes after Christmas (well ... all us beauty addicts know...) - the Boots half price sale! All those gifts, perfume sets and goodies with massive savings which you literally cannot say no too!

Obviously I got a little over excited and bought...LOADS - but this was totes acceptable as I bought alot of it with my advantage card points that I had been saving up! 
Because I have bought alot I thought I would spilt it into 3 different hauls... so here is Numero Uno! (these things were bought both online and in store!)

Taylor By Taylor Swift 30ml Gift Set

This was a no-brainer for me! Everyone knows that I love Taylor Swift! She is a total babe and I love her music. Obviously I already own this and it was actually in one of my monthly favourites posts back in the summer but I am just about to run out so this was perfect timing! As well as a bath gel and a body lotion you get the 30ml perfume - a bargain if ever I did see one! (and this may not be the only perfume set I bought.......)

Soap & Glory - Powder Trip

Now this was something that I had eyed up before the sale but couldn't part we £20 before Christmas and the fact that the powder aren't in separate compacts did put me off a bit! But as it was half price I thought I'd give it a go as they are all products I have looked at individually! This set contains GLOW ALL OUT a Luminizing Face Powder, LOVE AT FIRST BLUSH a shimmer blushing powder and SOLAR POWDER a multi-shade bronzer. I've heard and read such great things about all 3 of these products so can't wait to try them out!

Baylis & Harding beauticology Mini Trio

I bought this for both my Blogger Secret Santa's this year and was so jealous when I was wrapping them up! This is something I knew I was going to try and get when it went into the sale and I am so glad I managed to grab one online! Such yummy smells - I'm a sucker for yummy smells!

Boots Extracts Cocoa Butter Collection

Another bargain that I just couldn't say no too! The body butter alone is around £7 out on the shelves so why would I not want all 3 for just £5? I love cocoa butter - always have done, can't wait to use this trio!

Fearne Kiss & Tell Lip Set

Every year I seem to get some Fearne goodies from Boots. I don't have any lip crayons (shame on me I know) so I'm really looking forward to trying out these! 

Such a great range of shades and a sharpener included! Which is great as I always worry I'm going to ruin things like this with some of the sharpeners I own! For £1 per item... how could I not!

So there we have it - Haul #1 done! Keep your eyes peeled for numbers 2 and 3 which are coming up very soon! I bought such a wide range of different products which I am so happy with - I'm a total bargain hunter and love haring them with you all - have you guys bought anything in the Boots sale?!

(I am really sorry about the quality of my photos aswell at the moment, really struggling with good lightening where I work full-time, hopefully they will improve soon!)
