March Favourites 2015

Another month down, another monthly favourites post for you all to see what I have been loving and obsessing over for the past 4 weeks! From eyelashes to naughty treats - here's my round-up of my favourites things from March!

Shane Dawson - I Hate Myselfie
Wooo I read a book this month - and it was bloody brilliant! I have been a fan of Shane's for years now and his inappropriate humour and hilarious persona's are right up my street. This book had going from laughing out loud about Shane and his awkward swimsuit experience to shedding a tear about his dear Grandmother. All in all this 'collection of essays' is downright awesome, if you are a fan of Shane I highly recommend it!

Katy Perry Killer Queen Perfume
I mentioned this earlier on this month about how much of a bargain it was! Just over £13 it worked out as for a 100ml bottle - you don't get bargains like that often! I love the scent and it really lasts - I've been using it round my home aswell as on myself alot this month.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer - Ivory
A new concealer from Rimmel, and I have to say I have used it every single day since purchasing it! It is fab for covering my dark circles and lasts all day.

Bounty's
Oh dear.... it's true - I have been addicted to this chocolate and coconut treat! They are just so yummy and only £1 for 4 in co-op.... too tempting!

Barry M Waterproof Khol Eyeliner
I got this for my birthday back in February and have been loving it! Khol pencils are the best for me when doing my lower lash line - I try not to over-do eyeliner as I have really small eyes already and feel like it makes them even more teeny tiny! This stays on well and isn't too hard to get off either.

Eylure 101's
My favourite eyelashes at the moment - I have gone through lots of these this month with my trip to Germany and girly nights out! Perfect for my smaller eyes these give me the long eyelashes I've always wanted.

Ginger & Co Coconut Lipbalm
This stuff smells. so. good. - this new brand is killing it! I have a trio of these balms and this has to be my favourite. It's smooth and keeps my lips hydrated for ages!

Fake Bake Beyond Bronze Shimmer Brick
My baby! I have had this for about 4/5 years now after seeing Billie Faiers talking about it and it is now near enough empty (boo hoo!). I love it and I'm praying I can find a new one and it hasn't been discontinued!

MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick
I am so so happy that I finally got my hands on this! I have been wearing it constantly this month and have had so many people ask me what shade it is! If you can get your hands on it then do it, you won't regret it!

theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer
Contouring has taken over my life and I've found this is the perfect bronzer for me! The packaging is super cute and it's easy and compact which I like, theBalm have sooo many awesome products, I love the names they give them too.

No7 Airbrush Away Primer
This has been my everyday primer for a while now, I'm even onto my second tube. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and silky, ready for the rest of my make-up. I'm dreading it running out as I don't want to have to pay full price for it! (I got both tubes on Black Friday with a voucher so they were less then £5 each! - the usual price is £19.50)

E45 Overnight Hand Cream
The cure for my overly dry and slightly cracked hands. This stuff is a god send, it honestly works so so well, especially on my knuckles.

Ginger & Co : First Impressions

Well, well, well - is that a new brand I see? Why yes it is!
I was overwhelmed to receive a beautiful bundle of goodies from Ginger & Co for a few weeks ago - full of yummy sweets, pretty hearts and of course their fab new products!
The packaging caught my eye straight away and I couldn't wait to dig in!

So today I thought I was share with you my first impressions of the brand, let you know a bit more about them and show you the products I am currently trying out!

Ginger & Co is a British brand born and bred brought to life by the awesome people at HotHouse. (who are also the proud makers of St. Moriz... the best bargain fake tan ever!).
They pride themselves on using predominantly English ingredients and helpful English manufacturers - great huh?

Ginger & Co is all about having a fun, retro-inspired range of glam bath and body products that is accessible to all - and seeing as the prices range from just £2.99 I think they've hit the nail on the head.

Like I said earlier, the packaging caught my eye straight away, I love cute pin-up pictures, bright colours and eye-catching names! (like Soap & Glory & theBalm)
The products I have are all full-sized and are amzingly large sizes for the prices they are - talk about value for money.
Left to Right :
Bathing Beauty Moisturising Bubble Bath & Wash*
Heavenly Hands Moisturising Hand Wash*
Soft On You Daily Body Lotion*
Soft On You Comforting Body Butter*
Double Up! Creamy Bodywash*
Hand It To Me Dreamy Handcream*
The Washes
Here we have the 500ml Bathing Beauty bubble bath and the 250ml Double Up! body wash which are both priced at £3.99 each -  a total steal for the size of the products!
Total skin saviours these 2 have been created to help keep your skin happy and moisturised! The bubble bath has Marshmallow leaf and lemon balm in to help keep your skin hydrated, which is great for the upcoming spring months - coz we all know we'll be shaving those legs more!
Ginger & spice and all things nice - Double Up! bodywash keeps the skin clean whilst moisturising at the same time. Revive your senses with energising ginger root and detoxifying juniper berry - alot more fun than my boring Sanex I have to say!
The Bodycare
Now these two are both Soft On You - one a daily body lotion and the other a body butter! This is perfect for me as I don't always have time to use a body butter as they take longer to sink in, so a body lotion alternative is always welcome in my home!
They smell lovely and have some fab ingredients such as rose leaves and marshmallow leaf which makes them smell gorgeous!
The body butter is priced as £4.99 for a 485g tub and the lotion is priced at £3.99 for a 500g bottle - both big, big sizes. (and half the price of Soap and Glory!)
The Hand Duo
Last but not least we have my favourite two products - the hand savers!
Firstly the Heavenly Hands hand wash. Now this had me sold before I even used it, mainly due to it's size! I am fed up of buying new hand soaps for my kitchen and bathroom constantly because me and mu boyfriend go through them like there's no tomorrow! This is 500ml so will hopefully last us for weeks and weeks ... plus it looks alot prettier than Carex and is only £3.99.
And last but not least Hand It To Me, a dreamy handcream.
I'm a huge hand cream lover and always have one with me in my bag wherever I go, this is only £2.99 for a 100ml - bargain!  This stuff is great, soothing and hydrated AND it looks cute too.

So there we have it, Ginger & Co - a winner of a new brand in my opinion! Not only do these look great and all cost under £5 but they really do work. They make lovely little presents for friends and family too!
Right now Ginger & Co products are avaiable on Amazon, Ocado and in indepenant pharacmies across the UK and if you'd like any more info just check them out on twitter - @_GingerandCo
