Birthday MAC Haul

As I woke on the morning of my 26th birthday bright-eyed and bushy-tailed I did my usual morning routine -  you know just some light yoga and a shot of healthy greens...... and by that I mean I casually lay in bed, avoided getting up and checked my phone for any exciting Kardashian news.
And BING there it was - a surprise MAC voucher waiting in my inbox for me from my lovely boyfriend (Lots of brownie points for him!)!

Of course this voucher did NOT last long and no sooner had I got it, it was gone. Although I must admit it was a tough choice picking from my never-ending wishlist!
Here's what I decided on.... 

Strobe Cream

This has been on my wishlist for so long now. Every single photo I had seen of it online looked so stunning - I'm obsessed with a perfect glow and that dewy, natural look and this cream looks like the perfect way to create that. I can't wait to play around with this stuff!

Lip Liner - Soar
The Kylie Jenner classic. I cannot believe it's taken me this long to invest in it! I LOVE MAC's lip liners - they are the best - and I'm so glad to have another nude shade to wear daily with Velvet Teddy/Brave.

Lip Liner - Nightmoth
Like I had said in my recent post I really wanted to buy a new lip liner to go with my Ariana Grande Viva Glam lipstick and THIS is the perfect shade!  Seriously dark, this plum shade is the best base for it - and also gorgeous on it's own!

Lipstick - Brave
Another product which has been on my wishlist for months and months.
 I saw a gorgeous picture on Pinterest of someone wearing Soar & Brave together and since then I have been wanting to purchase them both - and now I have! I know this is going to get some serious wear, it's such a pretty colour - perfect for everyday!

Eyebrow Pencil - Lingering
This was a total random purchase! But I've just had my eyebrows done and felt like trying something new for them! I quickly tried this out and am so impressed by how easily it works on filling in my sparse areas and how little you need!

Weekly Round Up #2

1.  Well.... if you didn't know about this yet.... where have you been?! Yes! I have finally been able to hand in my notice at my current retail job and will be starting a new career in PR, social media and marketing in the new year. I am overjoyed and so so excited to get started! I finally feel like my life is starting to get on track!

2. What a lovely day it was, heading over to Portsmouth with my Mum for a spot of shopping. I love Primark but living on the IOW it's not often that I get to go so it's always an exciting experience. How is shopping so tiring though? Seriously such a workout!

3. It's been so lovely to spend a bit more time with my Mum over the past weekend, it needs to happen more often!

4. I went to see The Good Dinosaur last week with a couple of friends and absolutely loved it.... it nearly got me shedding a tear I tell ya! Such a cute story, lots of Lion King similarities though... did anyone you of notice this aswell!?

5. I am totally obsessed with Instagram at the moment - LOVE LOVE LOVE! I find creating images for it so fun, yes I am THAT sad! (My account)

6. Waaaaaaaaaaaa I didn't get one :( Although.... did anyone? I swear it was there and gone in like 3 seconds! Fingers crossed they'll be back in stock soon and we can all rock the perfect nude lip.

7. I LOVE December. Like... LOVE it. Even just the sight of an advent calendar gives me that warm festive feeling (and this year I have 2!), I'm so excited for Christmas. Next stop - get my tree up and watch Love Actually!

8. Finally! I own a winter coat. After browsing the internet for what seemed an eternity my eyes fell upon this River Island beauty and I have to say it's probably my best buy of the last 12 months! I have had so many compliments on it so far and the qulaity is amazing! IT looks great and keeps me so warm. (Find it at River island - here and Littlewoods - here.)

9. Last but not least....... I have to share my bargain of the week! Black Friday offers were my downfall ... opps - I mean I tried to avoid them but it was pretty darn impossible! I managed to get these gorgeous knee high boots for just £10! I know amazing right? I think I'll be wearing these on NYE.... once I've found a dress or playsuit to rock them with. Nip + Fab Glycolic Instant Fix Mask

Well... if it's good enough for Kylie Jenner is totes good enough for me! I'ma  big fan of Nip + Fab and have loved everything I've tried from them before and the sound of this sounds right up my street!

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

I have wanted to buy a lip scrub for so long and this has been on the top of my list. The last few weeks my lips have been dry, chapped, flaky - totally gross, so this would be a fab little treat....if only I lived near a Lush store!

Rimmel Lasting Fix Concealer

NEW new new product alert! I love Rimmel and get so excited for new releases from them.... and this little beaut is one of the things this spring that I am looking forward to trying most! Cream concealers are slowly becoming my fav kind of concealers so I'm hoping this is a winner.

MAC Lipliner - Beet

For months now I have been using an old elf lipliner with my Rebel lipstick - and yeah it's okay but it's not the best. Beet is meant to be the best lipliner to use with Rebel so I think it's about time I invested in it.

MAC Lipstick - Brave

Over the last couple of months I have bought THREE new MAC lipsticks.... this is not like me at all - naughty Kirstie! My wishlist of lipsticks is never-ending and this is top of it at the moment! I'm loving nudes and all the photos I've seen of this just look gorgeous.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Beauty Trio

My holy grail of all skincare is Cleanse and Polish and the amazing people at Liz Earle are celebrating their 20th birthday with this beauty trio! 3 different C&P's in a lovely collectable tin - I need this in my life.

ghd V Gold Styler

My ghd's are officially 11 years old.... so it about bloomin' time I got some newbies! These are top of my wishlist of things at the moment - they are so much prettier than my beat up old things!

Make-Up Revolution Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer - Depravity 

How stunning is this colour! It's sold out at the moment but I'm determined to get my mitts on it for summer!

Thierry Mugler Alien Perfume

After spraying this recently I have become obsessed. I love this so much .... one of my besties wears it but I think I may have treat myself to some on payday - perfect glam scent!

AMAs Best Dressed 2014

It was that time again Sunday night - The American Music Awards... this is one of my favourite award shows to watch and some of my favs performed their butts off (aka Taylor and Ariana, you go girls)!

Award shows are my favourite events to outfit-watch those perfect celebs and get totally well jel of the girls of music industry and more!

So I've picked out my top 4 outfits of the night........ these ladies slayed the red carpet!

1. Lucy Hale wearing Vera Wang

This cute LBD is from the Spring 2015 line and has gorgeous embellished front and a fab fringed hemline. Super cute for the festive season I how love Lucy has teamed with the strappy heels and vampy make-up to give it a pretty but edgy look! Dark lips really suit her!

2. Kylie Jenner wearing Alexandre Vauthier

Seriously though.... Kylie is just 17! At 17 I had a dodgey haircut and wore belts so high it looked like they were holding my boobs up.... what was my life? 

In all seriousness though - how incredible does she look? The dress, the heels, the LIPS - are all on point. She looks flawless in my opinion. 

3. Taylor Swift wearing Michael Kors

I haven't seen Taylor in a floor legnth dress in a while and I think she nailed it Sunday night! The gorgeous emerald green shade made her stand out from the blacks and autumnal colours surrounding the event! Her short, styled hair looks fab with the sheer top half of the dress (which really remind me of a Three Floor style) and the cut out looks perfect! Some cut-outs ruin a garmet but this is fab!

4. Fergie wearing Halston Heritage

She's back and looking fabulous! A classic gown from the Spring 2015 collection which emphasized her stunning figure perfectly. 

I love the subtle elegance about her with her blonde wavy hair and nude lip - a total bombshell on the carpet. (p.s. Check out those legs! wow!)

Current Hair Crushes

Oh man, I get such incredible hair envy that I just had to write a post about it.

I'd say hair is probably the first thing I notice about a person and being on the internet sometimes alot, the amount of hair envy I have for certain people grows and grows on a daily basis.

Twitter, Instagram, even The Daily Mail (don't judge me) I'm always on them and aswell as checking out the news, style and everything else that's going on - I am a super guilty at pining over celebrity's hair/hairstyles. (why can't mine be like that? *cries into extensions and dead ends*)

So here are the girls who's hair, for me, is just on point at the moment, so cute, so hot - I want! Half of them make me want to go and get some $5000 extensions and the rest a cute short bob again... what to choose!

Pia Mia - If you don't know who this girl is then get googling/youtube searching. She is going to be big! A pal of those Jenner girls, but a total star in her own right down to an incredible singing voice! I am obsessed with this girl's look - her style is so laid back and cool and her hair is always looking awesome! Love these blonde bouncy curls with an added bit of edge. 

Emma Stone - *Hair make-over alert* Emma Stone has just had a fringe cut in and some gorgeous ombre put in her hair and it is looking gooood. I'm such an Emma fan and always thinks she looks gorgeous. Major hair and fringe envy here - especially as I could never rock this style!

Emma Roberts - I have been loving Emma Roberts new look. She's always been know for her long hair wehter it blonde or brunette and this new bob just looks so amazing on her. It makes her look alot more mature (in a good way) the cut and the colour are fab and seriously suit her face shape... she makes me want to get my bob back again.......

Kylie Jenner - I have loved slowly watching Kylie Jenner's style transformation online - I think it's great she knows what she likes and has her own look which is totally different from any of her sisters! 

The short hair looks so great on her and I loved the dip-dye she's got going on! Seriously though - how is she only 16.... it pains me how stunning she is! (At 16 I was a mousey brown haired brace-face, who was a total make-up beginner!)

Ariana Grande - My girl Ariana, she is just amazing in everyway! I feel so creepy writing that as she is younger than me... but she's so talented I feel like I can say it?! Right?! 

Ariana has been known throughout the past year or so for the half up-half down extension ponytail - which though being super cute she got alot of slack for because she never changed or switched it up (*Leave Ariana Alone*).

Saying this over the last couple of months she really seems to have come out of her shell and has been seen with lots of other hairstyles! I'm loving her new straightened look - gorgeous darling! (A total Cheryl Cole mini-me don't you think?!)

Shay Mitchell - The PLL with possibly the best hair? What do we reckon? I'm a huge Ashley Benson fan when it comes to hair and make-up (maybe because I'm blonde) but recently I have been in awe of Shay's locks both on the show and off! I love the new lighter tones she has had added! Her hair always looks so effortlessly perfect - you go Shay!
