Sleek Matte Me Cream Lipstick - Birthday Suit

I don't think I'm the only person there that has tried and failed to purchase Kylie Cosmetics. (Damn you people faster than me.)
So, for me, it's all about finding dupes and lookalike products for now and I found this total bargain recently!
I was browsing the self-selection in Boots when I was shopping last week and these 'matte me' lipsticks by Sleek really caught my eye.
Birthday Suit was the first colour I swatched and to be honest was the only colour I cared about. I'm SUCH a sucker for a nude lip at the moment - and if it's matte.... even better! I knew I had to have it, especially for only £4.99.

The colour is gorgeous, a great brown nude which is easy to apply and feels so smooth. It dries quickly and has a great stay-time although after a few cups of tea I do need to re-apply but for the price it's not something I mind.
I've been wearing this on top of a nude lip liner and it's perfect for everyday work!

Rimmel Kate Moss Nude Lipstick - #45

Rimmel couldn't go and release a new lipstick collection without me running to Boots and grabbing one... obviously!

Yes, the Kate Moss collection has once again grown and this time it's delved into the realm of nudes. (Which I'm not surprised at in the slightest I mean ... it is the year of the nude right?!)

I decided to go for shade #45 - there were a couple of others in my local Boots but they both looked a bit too pale for me and I didn't want to just buy them for the sake of it - so I just stuck to the one!

I think we all know now what the formula to the Kate Moss lipsticks are by now! These are the regular long-lasting creamy lippys which are easy to apply and my personal drugstore favourite!

I really like this colour, I probably wouldn't go any lighter than this with a brown based nude as I'm not a fan of the foundation lips look!
I can tell already that this is going to get alot of wear over the next few months :)
Super quick post today..... please let me know if you have any requests for posts or videos - I feel like I've been boring recently and I really want to up my blogging and vlogging game!

NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee

Being out of the country last week meant that I had the chance to snoop at a few brands that you can't find on our UK shelves! Although I only picked up one item (I know... total fail - but I was in a make-up store for literally 3 minutes before our tour bus left!) - I love it, so I thought I would share it with you!
NYX are a brand that I've heard so much about, I feel like I've owned some of their products before.... but not recently!
There was a whole display of these Butter Glosses and to be completely honest I wish I had picked up more but I was in a major rush so just picked up this pretty shade on a whim, it's called Creme Brulee.
This gloss really does live upto it's buttery name! The product itself is a gorgeous creamy formula which glides on with ease and feels as soft as a lipbalm. It reminds me slightly of Barry M's lipglosses but thicker - soft and smooth without being sticky!

The colour is lovely alone or used alongside a lipstick, it's pinky nude totally perfect for Spring/Summer!  Plus this stuff smells so so yummy, sugary and sweet - my favourite!

Now.... to invest in more? I've found them for £5 online - fabulous!

Maybelline Colour Show Stripped Nudes Collection - 225 Bare It All

A new nail polish? It is indeed!
This is one of Colour Show polishes from Maybelline from the new "Stripped Nudes" collection. (I think they are new anyway?!)
I haven't seen much about these around so I'm not entirely sure when they came out, or if hey are even out yet? But I managed to get my hands on one nevertheless!
I'm such a fan of a nude nail polish - I think they always look so clean, effortless and sophisticated... not to mention amazing with a tan - which I will get once I able to see some sun!
This shade is number 225 - Bare it all and it is a lovely opaque classic nude. It has more of a beige undertone than a pink and I think it prefer it that way.

This polish reminds me slightly of Barry M's Gelly polish in Lychee - wish is another of my favs.
Obviously we all know I'm on a spending ban so alas that means no more getting my nails done. Major sad face from me as I love having my nails done, no fear of chipping or having to re-do them and let's face it - they look 1million times better than just my plain boring old nails.
BUT there are worse things - so painting my own nails and saving a few pennies for now is how it is going to have to be!
Just 2 coats and this stuff looks beautiful, a fantastic staple colour that everyone needs in their collection! My new favourite nude!
Nudes & pastels are still going to be very much in this year after what I have seen so far and this is going to be top of my polish favs!
I've used other colourstay polishes before and have loved them, they have such an amazing range of colours which are definitely worth a look!
