My inner-child very much lives on the outer. You may have noticed by my un-dying love for Disney, Harry Potter obsession.... the amount of teddys I still own and keep on my bed that I still embrace all those I love it.
I Just Love It is a site that I get lost in and their cute, kitsch bits, bobs and gift ideas always catch my eye!
I was recently sent a couple of bits from the brand and I have been really excited to share them on here for you all to see!
These two pieces may not interest you in the slightest and that is fair enough - sometimes I feel very different from the bloggers I read .... a little 'young minded' perhaps and I can imagine that a Disney doll is enough to make some of your eyes roll but I like it and that's what blogging is about - sharing you things you think and things you like, so ... yeah!
First up - the personalised Princess*. Belle has always been my favourite Disney princess and Beauty and The Beast my favourite Disney movie, obvs and how cute is this doll! The perfect present for any Disney-loving child (or adult!) - you can pick nearly any Princess and have a name embroidered onto the front of the dress!
Even my Mum loved this - it's so adorable.... plus it's great if you have more than one child wanting the same thing!
The other item I was sent was the personalised version of The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz*. As you may have guessed by the name of my blog - I'm a bit of a huge a fan! These personalised books are such an amazing idea - especially, again, for children/families! You can change any of the main characters name to anything you want - so obviously I changed Dorothy to Kirstie! Such a sweet idea - especially if the story has alot of meaning to yourself or whomever it may be for! There's loads to choose from including A Christmas Carol, The Wind In The Willows. Romeo & Juliet and Alice In Wonderland! Make sure to head over IJLI and explore their never-ending gift ideas and homeware dreams! Follow
For Christmas this year (last year?.... 2015! You know what I mean) I was lucky enough to be given 2 Thierry Mugler perfumes that I had been wanting forever - Angel & Alien. My mum has been wearing Angel pretty much since it came out and I've always been such a fan (stealing sprays when I can.... hahs sorry Mum!) Until now I've just had the Glade Honey & Chocolate candles at home constantly, they have such a similar scent - warm and sweet they make everything smell amazing. Angel has now become my everyday perfume. The sweet smell of vanilla, chocolate, honey and patchouli is strong but not overpowering and with just one or two spritz' the scent stays on all day. Normally with perfumes after a couple of hours I find even if others can still smell the fragrance on me I can't smell it on myself anymore but with Angel I can smell it all day which I love. I only got a 15ml bottle for Christmas - which sounds tiny but I was surprised by how big it was - I was picturing a little tester size! I've used it everyday so far and it looks like I've basically used none - I can tell it's going to last for months and as soon as it runs out I won't might picking up another. If you haven't smelt Angel before I highly recommend you go grab a tester soon - it's not to everyone's taste but if you like warm, sweet scents (or chocolate) you might just find yourself a new favourite.

What did we do before the days of hair tools? I cannot imagine a life without straighteners or being able to wave my hair with the flick of a hand!
There are SO many choices out there on the market with new products being added each month - which makes it super hard ot pick the one that's right for you! Today I'm going to be chatting all about Tony & Guy's new little beauty out there the Fluid Metal Styler*.
Tony & Guy Fluid Metal Styler*
Now you may have spotted this on my Instagram a couple of weeks ago, I just couldn't keep it's prettyiness hidden away could I? - I know lots of you commented and tweeted about it, so I've been dying to get this review up.
Unlike your usual boring straighteners this limited edition professional styler is made to not only straighten the hair but curl and wave it aswell, all with one easy glide. (check out some fab styles here.) I cannot get over how darn pretty these are. The iridescent titanium is so unique (and as pretty as a unicorn) and the plates are made for the ultimate heat transfer. Developed to smooth down the hair follicles and enhance shine these really do transform my frizzy mop into sleek and manageable locks. They come with a gorgeous heat resistant carry case and a separate quilted heat proof mat - great for travelling or if you're on the go alot. The one thing I really love about the Fluid Styler is that it has a heat dial. You can choose what heat you'd like from 80c to 200c. So if your hair is quite delicate or doesn't need alot of heat to stay put you don't have to blast it with unnecessary temperatures!
The plates glide through my hair with easy and don't leave it feeling over processed or dry (one of my pet peeves!). I've been used to the same pair of straighteners for 10 years so it takes alot for me to venture out of my comfort zone but these managed to persuade me.
I love how easy they are to use and I've found it fairly simple to master the different styles with them too. My favourite go-to look at the moment is straight with the ends curled under to create a cute long bob style, it's so easy and lasts all day.
The fluid styler is priced at £90, which for what you get, the quality and the look (yes... I would happily pay for the pretty plates alone!) I think is great value... BUT, it gets better - right now at Superdrug they are HALF PRICE and only £44.99 - fab for a cheeky beauty treat for yourself, a great gift to pop on your wishlist or the perfect present for a haircare fanatic!

I have been so excited to get on my laptop and write this post for weeks now and now it's finally time - wahoooo!
It was back in October when Jurlique first started talking Christmas to me, I blooming love Christmas and the lovely lot at Jurlique alike so to be asked to join in with a fabulous December campaign of their's was so exciting!
I've used Jurlique products before (you may remember this post) and, of course, fell in love with them straight away! They are one of those 'how have I not tried anything from these people before' kind of brands!
Anyway back to what this is all about! This year Jurlique have created some amazing goodies and gift sets full of their best selling products and with Christmas just around the corner, it's all about giving the gift of glow!
Know someone who's a skincare addict? Want to treat a loved one? Or maybe fancy something new for yourself? Then keep on reading!
For 12 days this month a different blogger is going to be sharing with you one of Jurlique's fabulous sets .... and I, Kirstie, here at A Yellow Brick Brick am Day number 2!
So sit back, relax and check out the Aromatic Rose Duo!
The rose range was what I tried before from Jurlique and I love love loved it so I had high hopes for this lovely duo!
The set comes in a lovely gift box and as you can see from photos at the top, came beautifully wrapped! I love the little touches like from companies, especially if you are giving i to someone as a present!
In this duo you get the 125ml Rose Hand Cream and the Roll-on Rose Fragrance Oil.
First I'll talk about the hand cream!
This tube is huge! Well... it's 125ml but it feels so big compared to all the other hand creams I own, which is fab! I always carry a huge handbag so the fact it is a little bigger doesn't bother me in the slightest!
The cream itself is so thick and creamy, without being greasy at all it is seriously lovely! I use so much hand cream at this time of year, the cold weather makes my hands so dry and working with the public I tend to over-use that trusty anti-bac aswell which causes havoc with my hands too, so hand creams are life savers!
The scent is beautiful, just like my other rose products from Jurlique, the smell is soft but strong and lasts for ages!
I can imagine my Mum keeping this cream by the sink for everyday use.... she always has hand creams near the sink and I know she would LOVE this!
The other half of the duo now and the roll on fragrance which comes in a convenient 11ml bottle.
The powerful rose scent includes top notes of Rose Wardia and Rose Anatolia blooms and the smell is so long lasting on the skin!
I find the smell of rose really soothing and calming and it has really been helping me relax after a hard days work recently! As you may have seen earlier this week I talked about products that have been helping me sleep better.... this is one of them!
After having a shower I have been putting this on my pulse points and relaxing on the sofa! If you wanted to have it as an everyday fragrance it's also great layered with the other rose products Jurlique has to offer!
Convenient, quick and easy this is a fabulous product!
Worth £50 in value this gift box saves you a whopping £15 being only £35! Click here to check it out! A gorgeous present for a loved one this Christmas (or yourself!), I must say both these products have been such a luxury treat for me.
Make sure you check out the rest of Jurlique amazing blogger #12daysofGlow - I know some amazing girlies that are just waiting for their turn to rave about their products they have been trying!
To see each day being revealed make sure you are following Jurlique on twitter - @JurliqueUK and see how many blogger and vlogger faces you recognise!

So I thought it was about time I did some form of gift guide for men seeing as everything I've done so far regarding Christmas has been very girly - but hey! I'm a girl and I like sharing things that I like!
I do tend to struggle when it comes to the men in my life and I normally am one to just ask them to write a list of things they want haha, but I've done some homework this year and found a few nice bits that I'm sure your boyfriend/husband/brother/dad/uncle would enjoy so here's 9 gifts ideas for those tricky males in your life!
Star Wars : The Complete Sage Blu Ray Collection Find me a man that doesn't like Star Wars! They are classics and this boxset is a must have for any fan! The blu-ray quality is awesome and with only a year to go until the new movie this is a great way to prepare!
Vivabox For Him Now you may have already seen my review on this (HERE) but I just had to include it because it is a genius idea! A box of 7 samples to choose from - the recipient has the chance to try out the different fragrances before choosing their favourite. They can then use the voucher included to go and get a free full sized bottle!
Jack Wills Mens Travel Wash Bag Kit Jack Wills do great stuff and their range this year at Boots has been flying off the shelves! It can be quite hard to find nice washbags for men but this is a great size and comes with 3 products aswell! Great for jetsetters and men who work away from home alot!
Boom Box Touch Speaker I bought my boyfriend one of these for his birthday and it is brilliant! All you have to do is get your phone, pop your music on and place it in the top of the boom box. The music then magically comes out of the speaker.... don't ask me how it works - but it does and it is brilliant! The perfect present for a little brother or someone who doesn't have a
Captain America Dressing Gown Everyone loves a dressing gown and TruffleShuffle do the coolest range of superhero ones! I love this Captain America one, much cooler than your plain boring plain ones right?
Michelle Keegan Calender I mean we love a good hunk calender so why not treat your boyf to a pretty lady calender - they are happy with it and you hang it in the kitchen to help you avoid fridge temptation! Diet motivation and a present for someone else in one!
Okay, so are you ready to see and hear all about a genius gift idea that I have been lucky enough to have a little lookie at recently? Yes? Then settle down and get comfortable...........
Have you ever wanted to buy that special someone in your life a lovely new fragrance for Christmas but for the life of you have no idea what sort of scent they would like? You don't want to splash out on something that may end up sat in a cupboard for years?
Well.... THIS is the thing for you!
Vivabox is a fabulous idea which is the perfect solution to all those presents worries for both the men and women in your life!
Try it, Choose it, Love it!
Each box is full of a fabulous aray of 7 testers for the recipient to test and try out before picking out their favourite.
Once they've decided which fragrance is for them all they have to do is take their voucher which is found inside the box to their nearest Perfume Shop and they can exchange it for one of the full size products!
All the scents choosen are really different from each other so there is definitely going to be something for everyone for sure!
Here's a little more about what you'll find in both boxes.....
Obviously I was super excited to delve straight into this! I am a big perfume person and I am always on the look out for more. I'm not one of these people that has a signature scent - as much as I wish I was! I'm always chopping and changing to my mood and the occasion, but there's nothing wrong with that!
What samples will I find in the ladies Vivabox?
Hugo Boss - Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme EDP 1.5ml sample (Full Size - 30ml)
Well the boyf was impressed with this one! I have bought a few fragrances for him over the years and 9 times out of 10 I think I've got it right and he's liked it but this is a great way for him to be able to choose something for himself without having to drag him to a shop to spray a million different testers!
What samples will I find in the men's Vivabox?
Hugo Boss - Boss Bottled EDT 2ml sample (Full Size - 50ml)
Issey Miyake - L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme EDT 1.2ml (Full Size 75ml)
Overall I am so so impressed with this idea from the people at Vivabox and I really can't fault it! A gift you buy but they choose - a win-win situation all round! The only problem for me is that the nearest Perfume Shop to me is a boat journey away but I'm sure most of you guys aren't far from one at all!
Have you seen these before? What fragrance would you pick?
