The Disney Tag

Well this tag was clearly just made for me!
I have seen this floating around the blogging and youtube world for months but for some reason I haven't yet done it - god knows why?
I LOVE Disney, I think everyone knows that and I was so happy when last week Charlotte from Jotlotte tagged me to join in!
So here I am, sat armed with my Disney filled brain and with a pretty cool Mickey top ready to answer these quick-fire questions!

1. Favourite Disney Film?
Jeeez, have to started with the hardest question don't you! I have so many it would probably be easier to tell you which ones weren't my favourite!
If it came down to it though I would probably pick a classic like Beauty & The Beast. I love that movie so so much and it brings back lovely memories of watching it as kid!

2. Favourite Disney Character?
Another toughy, I have so many characters that I love - and they are usually the funny ones! Genie, Olaf, Lilo.... but I am a major princess lover - Belle, Rapunzel, Anna, Elsa, Jasmine, they are my kinda girls!

3. Favourite Disney Princess?
Belle, Belle, Belle. I love her. I recently mentioned her in my Childhood Female Icons post.
She has always been my favourite, when I was younger I loved that she wasn't like the other girls (falling for the douche Gaston) and was a massive bookworm!

4. Rather be Aurora or Cinderella?
I'd say Aurora.... I know she is asleep alot... but I'd kind of like that lol! Shew grew up with 3 fun fairies looking after her in a cute cottage.... compared to Cinderella that's pretty cool!
Also... I'm pretty rubbish at cleaning so wouldn't do very well at being Cinderella!

5. Rather be Hercules or Tarzan?
Hands down Hercules! I love that movie - your parents are gods and lets be fair... Meg is alot cooler than Jane!

6. Rather be Lizzie McGuire or Raven Baxter?
Raven Baxter! She can see the future .... and is hilariously sassy - so definitely Raven! "Oh Snp! Ya Little Nasty!"

7. Favourite Disney Song?
I love Belle - the opening of BATB "Marie! The Baguettes! Hurry Up!" - it makes me happy! My iPod is honestly FULL of Disney songs, I have more or less all the soundtracks, I am obsessed, could listen to Disney songs all day, both old and new!

8. Which Disney character would be your best friend?
Ahhh that's so hard to choose, would love the Genie as he is hilarious and Anna because, well she's awesome!

9. Which Disney character would be your pet?
Well this is easy... Stitch! He is so cute!
10. Have you ever been to Disneyland?
I went to Disneyworld, Orlando in 2012 and am going back this September! It was always a dream of mine to go so to be able to with my best friend when we went round America was literally a dream come true - words can't explain how much I loved it!
So.much.fun. - I cannot wait to go back!
I tag ALL you Disney lovers - I know there is SO many of you!

My Childhood Female Icons

I was having a little daydream the other day .... I live in a dreamworld probably 68% of the time..... and for some reason my thoughts traveled back to the 90's and early 00's when I was growing up (aka loving life without a care in the world) and I was thinking about all the girls/women/characters I looked up to and wanted to be admired.

With this in mind I thought why not do a little post about it - share with you lovely lot who, when I was younger, I thought was the bee's knee's and would have done anything to grow up and be like them! (and too be fair... my feelings haven't changed!)
1. Cher Horowitz
A total 90s icon - I was obsessed with Clueless and Cher from a young age! I will always remember seeing that computerized wardrobe for the first time and being green with envy - so so cool! I loved her self-assured attitude, total confidence and super sassy preppy style. I definitely bought a few fluffy pens because of her as a kid!

2. The Spice Girls
That's right, all of them. 90's girls I know you are all with me on this one, The Spice Girls were god.
I was one of those little girl's you didn't have a firm favourite throughout the years but slowly went through them all at some point claiming the were my favourite.
I had the ginger phase... the baby phase.. the sporty phase - well you see where I'm going with this! There was a part of all of them I loved and I wanted to be a Spice Girl more than anything - truly imprinted Girl Power into my mind forever!
3. Belle
I clearly couldn't do a post about all those girls I looked upto as a kid without mentioning a Disney princess! Belle has always been my favourite Disney character and growing up I was totally in awe of her. Being a fellow bookworm (I read so so much as a kid) she showed me it was okay to love reading and to give everyone a chance. Kind, caring and pretty much perfect - she is still my favourite Princess.
4. Buffy
Of course I've saved the best for last. My ultimate female icon as a kid (and still now) was none other than Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
You all probably know already (if you know me, read this blog or follow me on twitter) that Buffy is my favourite TV show of all time. Growing up I would be so so excited every weekday when it was on BBC2 after The Simpsons and I just wanted to BE her.
Gorgeous, funny, sporty and umm hello a vampire slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar made me want to get fit and kick ass! I don't know how anyone would not want to be Buffy!

I would love to know who your female icons were when you were a kid - comment below or join in and do your own blog post!!

Dress Like Disney #1 : Cinderella, Belle & Elsa

I'm such a Disney fanatic, although may already be aware of this! I love Disney, I love the princess', I just love it all and I always have done.

All girls dream of being a Disney Princess - their style, their hair, their... prince's, who wouldn't want to live in a fairytale?!
So I thought I would do a bit of a different post and do some styling of my own!
In these posts I'm going to give those Disney Princess's (and maybe a few other characters) a 2014 make-over!
Transforming their iconic outfits and styling into modern looks from items on the highstreet!
First up I've picked Cinderella, Belle & Elsa.
Cinderella

I'm having so much fun making these! Can't wait to do the next 3 characters!
What do you guys think? Which Princess would you want to be?
