This is the time of year where lots of us ladies and gents are working alot more and alot harder, so sleep can sometimes be cut short or feel non-existent!
I myself have been totally wiped recently so have been trying out a few things to help me having a more relaxed evening and a better nights sleep!
Here's 3 products which have definitely helped.....
1. Kindle
I always say to myself that I'll have a quiet night in and read my book (which I have been reading forever... I'm literally getting nowhere!) but me being me - a 24 year old internet addict - before I know it I've been sat on my phone/ipad/laptop all night and it's 10pm and time to go to bed!
This is BAD and I've been trying to change my ways. Getting into bed with a book really helps me to relax and chill out! It's so fun for your brain to turn off everything social and work-related and transport to another world for an hour or two! The more I do read, the more I want to read aswell! I can't wait to finish this series I'm on it's brilliant!
2. Candles
I'm a bit of a candle addict and have a slight obsession with my home smelling nice, whether it's with candles, sprays or diffusers.
Recently I have been burning this Aromatherapy candle from Flamingo Candles* (which you may have seen in this haul post). This is the 'relaxing' candle and is bursting with the scent of lavender and ykang ylang which helps calm be down after a stressful or busy day!
I' also still loving my Glade Honey & Chocolate candles - I've bought 3 already this month, they are so strong and fill my whole flat with the yummy scent!
3. Sanctuary Sleep Comforting Night Butter
I had been looking at these products from Sanctuary for a while, I really liked the scent but wasn't sure whether I'd actually go ahead and use them or whether they'd get shoved in a draw/box like alot of other things that I think are a good idea at the time!
But in the end... obviously I ended up buying a couple of products from the range! I got this body butter along with the body scrub and I made damn sure that I used them as soon as I got them home!
The scent is so lovely and relaxing and I've found it has made a real difference in the way I feel before I go to sleep! I've also been leaving the body butter open on my bedside table some nights - the smell really radiates round the room which is lovely.... but I think it's about time I invested in the candle too!
Other things I love and which help me relax and get a good nights beauty sleep are.... green tea, a good face mask and clean bed sheets!
What helps you sleep?

Living on an island the internet is my port of call 90% of the time when it comes to shopping and especially when it comes to buying gifts for people!
I am seriously limited with the shops in my home town so the more quirky and random websites I can find to order things from the better!
Flamingo Gifts is a new site in my life and it's one of those websites which I went on and just instantly fell in love with everything they sold!
This is the sort of store I live for, I love searching through all the different category's and seeing all the different quirky products - I can literally spend hours browsing!
The lovely people at Flamingo recently sent me a few products which had caught my eye on the site and I have been overwhelmed by the awesomeness!
Firstly are these two candles from Flamingo Candles. Now... I think the names are just a coincidence and they are 2 totally separate companies - please correct me if I'm wrong people! I already own a Flamingo Candle
The cream coloured candle is one of the Aromatherapy candles in the range and is the Relaxing scent. This is a lovely blend of lavender and ylang ylang is something I would have hated when I was younger but as an adult I find it so calming and totally perfect for an evening in reading a book and de-stressing my mind! This one is £11.90.
The pink candle is Pink Lemonade(makes sense right?) and my new favourite! If you love sweet scents this is for you, the scent is so strong and fills the room in minutes! A mix of strawberries, lemon juice and champange this sugary fruity scent is perfect for my sweet tooth- plus this one is just £10.20!
Not only do these candles smell nice they also look lovely!
How cute is this mug!? I love Roald Dahl stories and this mug collection is adorable! Matilda is one of my favourite childhood movies so this one really stuck out to me! Mugs make amazing presents - who doesn't like a nice hot drink, especially at this time of year!
As well as quirky household items Flamingo Gifts also has a few fashion items - bags, wallets, scarves etc! I fell in love with this cute pug print scarf as soon as I saw it! There are loads of awesome designs on there, sometimes it's nice to have something to wear that isn't from the highstreet! And lastly we have my new favourite thing! Did someone say a heatable Gromit? Yup that's right! Cuter and a bit more fun than a hot water bottle plus it smells super relaxing too! Just pop it in the microwave and enjoy the warm hug - perfect for all ages!
I highly recommend you head over to Flamingo Gifts and have a little look - I can guarantee you'll fall in love and spend your morning, afternoon or evening browsing the endless pages of gifts making a mental wishlist for both yourself and your friends and family!

I'm all about smells. Give me a good smelling product or thing and I'm sold. So of course I'm a crazy woman when it comes to candles! I love love love them!
Recently the lovely people at Flamingo Candles(cute name alert!) asked if I wanted to try out one of their new High Tea candles - a celebration of the great British teatime tradition. (who doesn't love teatime?!)
So this just HAS to be my POTW as I have been burning it constantly! Quick note - my lighting inside is so rubbish hence the reason why the photos are taken outside .... I don't usually randomly burn candles outside! (obviously)! Flamingo Candles are handmade, organic candles made with natural cotton wicks and soybeans and are all hand-poured. Snazzy huh?! I like knowing how the candles have been made - seeing this it feels like alot of love goes into making every individual candle.
First, lets talk about this packaging - SO cute. I love the 3D flamingo and the gorgeous 'shabby chic' colouring. It's a total blogger perfect candle visually don't you think?
The scent I have is Macaroon & Almond and it is a beaut! If you like the smell of marzipan then THIS is for you. Luckily for me I love it, it reminds me of Christmas cake - yummy. I could eat marzipan by the strip... am I a freak?
It is really sugary and with hints of cherry and coconut it is perfect for the summer - this has been making my flat smell beautiful! Now this isn't the strongest smelling candle I've had when it's burning , it does take a while before the scent starts to linger around unlike a couple of other candles I have which give out a fab smell in just a couple of minutes.
It might look small but it has a burning time of 50 hours! I am officially hooked on the unqiue scents and cute packaging and cannot wait for payday, as these candles are only £12 I think Flamingo Candles is going to be getting a visit from a certain blonde blogger *cough*me*cough*!
My current wishlist : Lemon Curd, Green Tea & Lemon, Cheesecake Crunch, Pink Lemonade, Pear Drops & Coconut Lemongrass (not alot then?)
Have you tried any candles from FC yet? Let me know your favourites or scents you would love to try out!
