Batiste Stylist Heat & Shine Spray Review

Dry shampoo gods, Batiste, have recently released a new collection - have you spotted it yet?
They now have everything from hairspray to  frizz tamers and when I saw the range there was one thing that stuck out to me and that was the Heat & Shine spray.
As my other heat protect sprays were running a little low I thought it was a great time to re-stock and try something new at the same time.
It wasn't until I got home that I read and realised that this spray was for use on dry hair - not wet or dry - but this was fine, I still had some of my other sprays to use pre-hairdryer!

My first thoughts were... surely an aerosol spray + heat = not good for your hair?! I was intrigued as to how my hair was going to feel after using it.

Infused with Keratin and Incha Inchi this spray is said to be a shield from even the hottest styling tools, which is good because I mainly use ghd's and not only is it a heat protectant but it doubles up as a shine spray too!

So... I put it to the test!
After drying my hair I was ready to straighten my locks, I've been doing that alot more since I got it cut short, I sprayed this throughout my sectioned off hair and began.

I was first surprised at the consistency. Being in an aerosol can you'd think it would come out like a hairspray but - not at all. T
This spray come out like a spritz, alot wetter than a normal aerosol - it feels light on the hair and I didn't feel like I need to use alot to cover my locks.

I straightened my hair and was left with a shiny, conditioned, sleek lob.
I could really feel that I had used a new product on my hair and it looked really healthy!

This is great to use each time I style  to help protect it and also just when I need a bit of a kick or conditioning if I haven't washed it that day!

Have you tried any of the new Batiste range yet? You can find it in Boots now!

POTW #11 : Lee Stafford Argan Oil Flexible Hold Hairspray

It's a hair product I have this week to rave about!
After a glam night out, an interview and some fun girl time over the past week or so I have been styling my hair a little more than usual! (naughty, naughty!)
As always after I finish using my tools and have my hair how I want it I set it all with a hairspray to keep it in place!
The hairspray I have been totally loving this week is the.... Lee Stafford Argan Oil Flexible Hold Hairspray(*).
A light-weight hairspray is my favourtie type of hairspray, I can't cope with thick heavy stuff that makes your hair cripsy and hard. (eww.)

This stuff is perfect for me, a great sized bottle - at 200ml it's not too big that it's difficult to use but not too small that you use half a can in one sitting!
With the famous Argan oil ingredient this Lee Stafford product gives you some gorgeous benefits compared to your normal standard hairsprays - a soft and sleek finish which you can still run my fingers through!
I hate the thought of hairspraying my hair and then not being able to re-style or brush it.
Everytime I've used this, weather it's using heated rollers, curlers or my waving wand, it's felt like I haven't even sprayed anything onto my locks and I've found my hair is as easy to manage as it normally is without any product!
Totes fab with my extensions too - a big thumbs up from me for this product, it's definitely my go-to styling product at the moment!

Do you have any favourite products from this week?

Lee Stafford Fat 'n' Flexible Hold Hairspray Review

Hairspray can be a lifesaver. With the weather we've been having lately - the stuff is a god-send for keeping our hair the same as when we left the house.
The only problem I have with the stuff is how heavy it can be. Crispy, hard hair is a dreaded fear of mine when using hairspray - but no longer do I need to worry because I've found this stuff : Lee Stafford's Fat 'n' Flexible Hold Hairspray.
Hairspray isn't a product I have normally used regularly, in fact it is normally if I've curled it that I will spray it to keep it in place. But with the wind and rain being so horrific the last few months even my day-to-day up-do's have needed a little extra help!
Lee Stafford is my favourite hair brand - the amount of posts and mentions his products have had on this blog are countless - the scent, the packaging,  the promises they live up-to, - I love it all.
But just plain old hairspray was never a product I had tried from them before ... until now!
I  have been using this for the past week or so and have been so so happy with the results. It really does live upto what it says on the label!
Totally amazing hairspray, that you can hardly feel in your hair!
I've been using this on a daily basis (which is so not like me), it is so light, totally non-sticky and keeps your hair feeling like it's natural self!
It really does give you total freedom with your hair and keeps it big and bouncy which is a bonus.... not to mention it has the great Lee Stafford scent - soooo much nicer than that normal hairspray smell we all know.

Fat 'n' Flexible is a 200ml can, a great size that will last for ages, the £6.49 price tag is totally justified in my opinion!
Another fab product to add to my collection and keep my hair under control for both simple, casual daytime looks and glam nights out!
