Favourites Rediscovered

With my slight beauty addiction (slight...I say...slight!) it's quite impossible to use everything all the time.

It's always fun stumbling across an old favourite and fallen back in love with it and recently I seemed to have fallen into a deep hole of them.
 Such an awesome hole in fact that I obviously, being me, wanted to write a post all about them!
 Hugo Boss Deep Red Perfume
This is such a high school classic for me! I LOVED this as a teen and a few years ago I asked for a bottle for Christmas..... which I had kind of forgotten about if I'm totally honest - until last week.
Deep Red is literally the perfect winter scent - I've been using it everyday and I have been getting some many questions about it! This is going to be my go-to for the rest of the season!

Collection Little Mix Perrie Lipstick
I'm not going to lie.... I have 3 of these. 3. Sat in a drawer! I bulk bought them when they first came out as I was so scared they were going to be limited edition that I didn't want to run out as I loved it so much.
Such a gorgeous purple (and they were a total bargain at just £2.99 each!) - I can't believe I'd forgotten all about it - I can safely say there's one sat in my handbag now!

Indeed Labs Hydraluron
I actually repurchased this recently as I got it for an amazing price.... half price in fact! I love this serum, I pop it on every night before moisturising and it leaves my skin feeling great, especially in this horrible climate at the moment!
The only reason I had stopped using it was because of the price so I will be making this tube last as long as I can.

Nivea Refreshing Toner
Ooooo this is a drugstore beaut! I just love the scent of Nivea products and this had been shoved to the back of my skincare for far too long! I hate the feeling of my skin without toning - it's like a must-have refreshing step for me after cleansing!

I'm Loving... #23

As I decided not to put up a monthly favourites this month because I felt like it was alot of the same stuff I'd previously posted, I thought I'd just carry on with my "I'm loving" posts here and there!

MTV Ex On The Beach
Oh my good god, how on earth have I never watched this show before? It is literally so bad it's good! I cannot believe how some of these people talk, it is outrageous and I can't help but find it hilarious! Cami and Kirk's entrance argument has to be the highlight so far - could not stop laughing! 

Travalo Milano
I spoke about this last week on here. This brand new Travalo is bloomin' marvellous - the new design is slick, luxorious and the new spray action is incredible- read more about it here.

I stumbled back across this the other day when doing my eye make-up and searching through my primer draw! I only have the mini size as I got in in the Benefit advent calendar last year! This is brilliant and has been my go-to primer when doing a full face of make-up, I think I'm going to have to invest in a full-size!

Even though I own countless palettes I always seem to float between the original Naked palette and this little beauty! theBalm is one of best new brands I've stumbled across since I started blogging and their products are securely placed into my daily routine, this is a fab investment!
WAGs on E!
Yes...... I have been drawn in to yet another trashy American reality show about nobody's. But... I just love them okay! This is all about US WAGs, I'm loving the glam and drama so much already, it's on E! on Tuesdays, check it out!

Little Mix - Hair
My favourite song at the moment! I loveeeee Little Mix and cannot wait for their album to be released later this year.

St. Moriz Fake Tan Mousse - Dark
With Bestival starting (today) I have been desperately trying to glam myself up a little after a summer of working indoors! This is my go-to tan and I'm hoping I'll have a slight glow (that isn't white based) for the weekend!

This has been my number one concealer for the past few months, with the amount of early morning shifts I've had recently I've had to have something half decent to cover those big bad bags under my eyes! This works a charm, so so good for the price tag!

UnReal
Another TV show I have been obsessed with is UnReal.  On Lifetime this is a show about the behind of scenes of a show called 'Everlasting' (basically The Bachelor) and it shows the producers manipulating the cast and all the drama that unfolds, it has just finished it's first season but if you get the chance to watch it I highly recommend. It really makes you wonder what really happens on these real 'reality' TV dating shows.......

Mac Lipliner - Whirl
This has got to be my favourite lip liner that I own. I pair it with Velvet Teddy for that awesome KJ look, soooo worth the money  as I know it's going to last months and months. This is a must for the perfect nude lip.

I'm Loving... #20

It's been a while since I did one of these - I've missed it!
 I've decided to change the name of these posts to "I'm Loving" instead of "This Week I'm Loving" just because they may not be weekly so I think it suits it better!



MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick
I thought I had lost this favourite of mine, so when I stumbled across it in an old bag this month I coulnd't help to whip out a happy dance! I had been missing this shade so much and since finding it I have been wearing it so much, perfect with my Whirl lip liner.

Armani Diamonds Perfume
New perfume alert! Yes I finally cracked and spent some of my Boots points I was saving for Christmas.... shame on me! I had got up to £86 and was feeling like cheering myself up and this was on offer so I couldn't really say no! £29.99 instead of £52! I love this scent, it's not something I've had before and I think I will be saving it for special occasions - not an everyday work scent.

Brita Fill & Go
Something else now that I splashed out my points on because it was on offer! I had been looking at these for a while... I buy so many bottles of water which is ridiculous really so I thought this was a great way to save some money. I've been keeping this in the fridge and popping some lemon slices in there too - great for the skin!

Rock Challenge (Ryde Academy)
This is something very random for the blog but also something very close to my heart! I did Rock Challenge throughout my years at high school, in fact I did it for 5 years with 3 of those years being part of the committee that create the pieces.
 Since leaving high school back in 2008 I have missed being part of this amazing, fun and emotional thing that is Rock Challenge! I went and watched my school participate in the Premier Final this week and am SO proud of them! They came 2nd and are on their way to the National Finals and rightly so! #RydeRockTheHouse (I would literally do anything to go back to school and take part again!)

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub
You may have seen my review on this a few weeks ago! This has happily slotted it's way into my everyday beauty routine and to be honest I'm not sure how I spent so many years without it! If you want to know a bit more check out my review - here.

Little Mix - Black Magic
I.love.this.song. Little Mix can do no wrong in my eyes - I cannot wait to get their new album!

Benefit They're Real Mascara
When I was clearing out my make-up collection earlier this month I found a whole aray of Benefit minatures that I had forgotten about - some I hadn't even tried yet! This was one of them and using it for the last week or so has reminded me how brilliant it is! Although I can't decided whether I prefer this one or Roller Lash..... what do you think?

Jurassic World
This movie is bloody brilliant!!! I love the originals so much and have been So excited for this since it was annouced and it didn't disappoint! In fact... I want to go and see it again! Chris Pratt gets 11/10 from me.

Bath & Body Works Vanilla Berry Sorbet Anti-Bac Gel
My most favouritest hand gel at the moment! Aswell as smelling amazing this brings back so many memories of America - I LOVE this scent.

Boots Christmas 2014 : My Top Picks £5 & Under

Okay, I know it's only October BUT you can never be too early when it comes to Christmas shopping! I've decided to start buying things for loved ones already this year - mainly so I actually have some money left when it come to December and new year!
Boots is a great place to get your Christmas gifts and I've seen so many of you chatting away on twitter about getting the gift guide that's been recently released!
I always love hunting through their Christmas 3 for 2 mix and match pressies and probably buy more for myself than anyone else - opps!

So I thought what better on the lead up to the most wonderful time of the year than a few gift guides to help you on your quests to find the perfect gift for those special people in your life (or those ones you got stuck with in your work's secret santa!).
First up..... £5 and under gifts! (These are going to be mainly girly products but I will try and get a mens gift guide up aswell :)
Sweet pea is one of my favourite scents when it comes to products and candles and this little stokcing filler is great for anyone! Who doesn't love a lovely smelling home?

Shot 2 Go Photo Cube - £5
Whether you give this present as it comes or fill the photos in yourself this is cutest little cube for anyones dresser or work space! So much better as a frame as you can have a total mix of photos all on one product!

Baylis & Harding Beauticology Gingerbread Cupcake Footcare Giftset - £5
Baylis & Harding had a similar set out last year which I was really sad about missing out on! By the time I went to order it for myself it was out of stock and I couldn't find it anywhere! Fluffy socks AND cute products for only £5 - yup I'm sold!

Jack Wills Emery Boards - £5
Jack Wills is a brand that's been in my life for  a good few years, living on an island which is surrounded by boats and the 'yauchty' brand is pretty popular here! These nail files are super cute and handy, good for any manicure lover.

Soap & Glory Merry-Kiss-Much Gift - £5
A bauble AND a lip balm in one! I love Soap and Glory stuff and their Christmas lines never seem to disappoint! I've used S&G lip balms before and they are lovely, what better present for a beauty babe!

Ferrero Rocher Collection - £4.69
If all else fails, chocolate is the answer and this Ferrero Rocher box looks lovely and most expensive than it actually is! (Contains Nuts... obviously!)

Collection Little Mix All About The Eyes Palette - £3.19
Yes I now this isn't in the Christmas collection but this is such a lovely little gift for a tiny price tag! If you've got a secret santa to do this lovely neutrals palette is a great idea! Collection make-up is always fantastic quality and if they are a Little Mix fan then it's a double whammy!

Fearne Perfectly Polished Nail Polish Duo Set - £4
Everyone's a fan of Fearne! Her collection for Boots each Christmas is always a best seller and this year I'm sure will be no exception! Again, the perfect stocking filler for girls ad women alike!

November Favourites

It's December - YAY! My favouite month! But with December beginning it also means we say goodbye to November. So of course it's time for another favourites post. 
 Alot of products I have been loving this month I have already shared with you in previous months, so not too many products to share with you guys today!
First up, the Garnier Intensive 7 Days Ultra-Replenishing Lotion (for very dry skin). Over the last few weeks I have started to get a few really dry patches on my legs. I've never had this before and it actually started to hurt ( sad face!)
 I had totally forgotten I had bought this stuff back in the summer when it was offer and seeing as the description is for 'very dry skin' when I saw it I thought it was worth a go.
 Low and behold this stuff has worked like a charm, totally healing my skin! It smells lovely too and sinks straight into the skin which is fantastic if you're in a rush!
Next is a product from Joules. This is  product from the Terrific Treats Bath Wash Trio gift set which I recently did a review of (here). This stuff is body wash souffle - and this is not just your normal body wash/shower gel right here - this stuff is amazing. It is a thick creamy substance and lathers up in seconds, it is like conditioner for your body and I have been loving how soft/smooth it makes me skin plus it smells lovely! I am addicted!
When my lovely Mum recently told me she'd bought me a little something I had no idea it would be Christmas related! I LOVE Christmas and with this being my first ever Christmas not living at home I couldn't wait to start getting bit for my own place! This is bauble from Ted Baker and I love it! I love french bulldogs and just think this is so cute - it seriously got me in the festive mood - thank you Mum! 
Another Lee Stafford product? Why yes it is! These are the Argan Oil Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner and I have been using them for the last month or so! A little more expensive than the usual range from LS but I thought I'd treat myself when they were on offer - 3 for £20 (I also got the treatment).  The words argan oil definitely swayed me to try these and they have been fab! The shampoo is relly thick, it worried me at first but using both these together leaves my hair so soft and feeling lot stronger - paired with my morocanoil this is a great haircare routine!
Okay so this is my favourite lipstick at the moment! The Perrie lipstick from the Little Mix collection at Collection (formally Collection 2000!). I don't think this photo does the shade any justice at all... damn you winter and your rubbish weather/lighting! It is an amazing purple colour and I have been wearing it non-stop throughout November! Unfortunately I've heard it is sold out at the moment which just makes me wish I had bought more than one! 

Now for a couple of non-beauty favs...
Little Mix - Salute : This has GOT to be my album of the month I have been listening to it non-stop! I such a fan of both their style and their music and this album is amazing! If you've liked any of there previous songs you'll love this! I love Move, Little Me, Competition & These Four Walls. Now I reeeeeeally want tour tickets!

Ja'mie Private School Girl : If you know me then you know I am the biggest fan of We Can Be Heros and Summer Heights High - I have been obsessed with them ever since watching them years ago. So when I heard that  god Chris Lilley was making another series with Ja'mie I was so excited. Private School Girl has been hilarious and I am gutted that it has finished already! If you haven't seen any Chris Lilley shows before I seriously urge you to go and do it now! You won't regret it - full on lols guaranteed!

Kirstie's Top Picks For Purple Lipsticks

Right now I am LOVING lipsticks - I actually cannot get enough. Well I've always loved lipsticks but the amount  I have bought over the last couple of months is both staggering and worrying!
 I don't think I will ever have too many in my collection! A colour that keeps appearing in my "most used" is one I'd never really worn until this year and that is.... purple.
I am loving purple shades, from bright funky violets to deep sultry purples, I have found them to be some of my most reached for at the moment!
 So I've picked out a few of my personal favourites to share with you all...

1. Sleek True Colour - Mystic : If you've read my blog recently you may have seen my blog post on this lipstick! I bought it on a trip to London back in September and have been wearing it ALOT. It is a gorgeous bright violet purple and for more pictures check out my post on it here.

2. Collection Little Mix - Perrie : Now I was after this lipstick for weeks and weeks, my local Superdrug doesn't stock the LM Collection and it was sold out online *big sad face* - but when I spotted it last week back in stock on the Superdrug website - that was it, mine! I'm so pleased I managed to get hold of it aswell as I love it, a total bargain at only £2.99, I'm so impressed. I wore it last weekend to my best friend's wedding party and it stayed on so so well - check out a photo here!

3. Barry M - 156 : You all know I'm a massive fan of Barry M lip products - their lipsticks and glosses are some of my favourite and most used ever! I included this one in my Beauty Buys Of The Week a couple of months ago and have been loving it! (Not sure why it looks so pink in the swatch.... as you can see in the tube it in't that pink!)

4. MAC - Rebel : I've been eyeing this beauty up for months and finally decided to splash out the £15 for it! So many of you will be owners Rebel and I know why - this is so easy to wear and being a MAC lipstick the forumla is gorgeous! I love their lipsticks so much... I just wish I could afford more of them! I highly recommend it!

5. Rimmel Moisture Renew - Dark Night Waterl-oops! : This was mentioned in my October Favourites post - the new Rimmel Moisture Renew lipsticks are incredible! They are so thick and pigmented - the swatch above was just one light swipe of this beauty, they are flawless! I cannot wait to buy more of them!

6. Rimmel Kate Moss - 04 : I have some good news and some bad news about this one - Bad news....I believe it has been discontinued BUT good news I purchased it from Fragrance Direct and it was only £1.99!!  Absolute Barry Bargain! The Kate Moss lipsticks are amazing, if you own any of them you will know how great they are, I can't believe this one isn't available anymore - it is a tragedy! If you are looking for a really dark dark purple - this is the one for you!

30 Day Snap #12 - Shopaholics Anonymous

Okay firstly, apologies that this is another clothing item for my 30 Day Snap,  but I have wanted this top for soooo long. 
Sometimes I'll see something and love it and then a few weeks later see it again and be over it, but this was different. It has been in my 'saved items' on ASOS for weeks and weeks now and I'm so so glad I finally splashed out (yes £18 to me is splashing out #tight) and ordered it.... along with a few other things - I have no self control!
I need to go to a Shopaholics Anonymous meeting pronto!
It is from River Island (although I bought it from ASOS as I get free delivery) and has this awesome batman print all over it! Like I said before I am obsessed with Little Mix and their style and this is them down to a 'tee' (bad pun alert!)
I am off to the IOW Festival tomorrow and can't wait to wear this with hopefully a denim dunagree dress! I know some of you may totally hate this but I really love prints and graphic tees like this and you can't go wrong with a good superhero!
