MeMeMe Lip Glide Velvet Finish Lip Colour - Winter Berry

Hello you lovely lot! I've got a smashing make-up review today for you all.... I feel like I haven't done anything make-up based in forever (it's been a week...) so I'm actually really excited to be writing this!
I'm feeling quite jolly, can you tell?

It's been a while since I talked about MeMeMe cosmetics... but that doesn't mean they haven't been in my life. The Flawless concealer has got to be in my top 3 concealers that I use and my boxed blush has found it's way back out now the sun is shining.

Now to talk about the new product on the block - Lip Glide.
MeMeMe Lip Glide's are their new range lip crayons.
I am a HUGE fan of lip crayons, especially at this time of year. They are so easy to put on and the ones I've used have also had great pigmentation and fab stay time.

The lip glides are a chunky pencil design, like a lip liner but a whole lot bigger, these are made with just the perfect thickness to make application precision easy peasy - even for us clumsy make-up users.

This is perfect for me, it's so easy to fill the lips in and it's a million times quicker than a lip liner, plus you don't even have to use another products alongside it!
I mean you can, this is fab to pop on underneath your lipstick or gloss but it's a bold stand alone shade too, with amazing wear-ability and long lasting effects - they've called it the 'new generation of colour.'

The shade I have here is Winter Berry. Yes you may be thinking - but it's summer? Berry shades are sooo last season but I would say no! I love wearing dark lips all year round. I think they look great with bright florals and summer outfits!

I LOVE this shade, it reminds me of MAC's Rebel (one of my all time favourites) and I have been wearing it ALOT! If you've seen a photo of me lately with dark lips, 9 times out of 10 it was probably this! It's so smooth and doesn't dry out the lips out all #winning
With of 5 different shades to choose from and a gorgeous velvet finish these are a definite hit for all beauty lovers. They are priced at £6.95 each which I think is a great price - personally I prefer it to everyones favourite lip crayon from Bourjois AND they are cheaper! You can find out more - here.

This Week I'm Loving.... #19

The Testing
A couple of weeks ago you may remember me tweeting about needing a book! I was stuck at Victoria train station waiting for my delayed train and the thought of a two hour journey with a phone with about 13% battery was not great.
So I popped into WHSmith and had a rummage through the books, I ended up heading to the "young adult" section... which I am NOT embarrassed by.... and picked out this dystopian society themed book - The Testing. (I know, I know...but I just love them!!) I try and find time to read everyday but it's normally just before I'm about to go to sleep so I end up dozing off and reading the same sentence 4 times before I give in and hit the hay, so I haven't read alot yet.
I'm just over 100 pages in but I am loving it! I can't wait to see what happens and I've noticed it's part of a trilogy so no doubtI'll be straight onto those if I enjoy this.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer
You may already know that Buffy is my favourite TV show of all time. I could watch it every single and never get bored! This part week or so Buffy has been my go-to show when I'm bored or blogging - mainly seasons 2 and 3 which are 2 or my favourites. If you've never watched Buffy then get off your phone/laptop/ipad right now and get watching!

Quiz Up
This is an app I used to have years ago, I think I must have deleted it when getting a new phone or when I needed memory (seriously does ANYONE ever have spare memory on an iphone or are we all always constantly deleting things to take one shitty photo?) Anyway I totally forgot about it until I saw Tanya Burr tweeting about it and I was straight to the app store! I have been obsessed with playing this - it's addictive.... Buffy & Disney are my fav...obvs. (Username : Kirstie Saunders..... challenge me!)

Maybelline Colour Drama Lipstick - Berry Much
I'm a HUGE fan of this collection, so when I spotted a new shade in my local store last week I snapped it up! Berry Much is a gorgeous dark purple shade, a little darker than MACs Rebel, the formula is fabulous and it lasts for hours.

Pro:voke Touch Of Silver Intensive Conditioner
Touch Of Silver is a range I have been using for years now! Anything to keep my blonde looking healthy and bright is cool with me!
I've used this intensive conditioner once a week for a few weeks now and have been so impressed by it's results. Not only does it make my hair feel so soft and smooth but I've been getting alot of comments on my hair colour! Even my Mum asked me if I had had it coloured again as it looked different! Totally getting me ready for summer!

Ghost Enchanted Bloom Perfume
I was very lucky to be given this as a present from a friend recently (thanks babes!). Such a lovely light, fresh scent for the warmer months! It really reminds me of something I used to wear but I can't put my finger on it!

Harry Potter
One of my favourite things in life now. I can never have too much Potter in my life, in face I'm writing this whilst chilling in my Hogwarts jogging bottoms - totally cool right? I've been watching sooooo much Harry Potter so far this month, I really never get bored of those movies. I'm just praying I can go back to the studio tour and universal studios at some point soon.

Barry M Lip Boss - 5
I did a post on this earlier in the week (see that badboy here) I cannot stop applying this stuff! Feels great, smells yummy and it's perfect for work! 5/5!

The Body Shop Honey Bronzer
I had totally forgotten about this little bronzer, tucked away with all those other bronzers in my collection. My lovely friend Gigi snapchatted me about it and I was like ooooh my god I have that too and I need it back in my life! Since then I have used it everyday, all the love for this! (I use the shade medium matte)

Soap & Glory Speed Plump Super Moisture Marvel
A brand new product from those genius people at Soap & Glory now. I'm not going to say too much yet as I want to do a whole post and review about it but this is lovely stuff and I'm really enjoying using it.

May Favourites

My monthly favourite's are here again! It's my second May favourites - can you believe it? It feels like yesterday I was writing all about my loves for May 2013 and here we are 1 year later and I'm sat here doing exactly the same thing!
So here they are - those things I've been obsessing over for the past month! (no make-up this month... which feels seriously weird!)
Garnier Ultimate Blends The Sleek Restorer Collection
If you have't heard of the new ultimate blends range from Garnier - then you've probably been chilling on the moon or something because I'm sure everyone more or less everyone have been trying them out!
I picked up the shampoo and conditioner for 2 reasons - 1. they were half price and 2. they smell amazing!
I am all about smells and if I think something smells good - I will buy it.
These products were working so well on my hair that I picked up the 1 minute treatment aswell! They leave my hair looking smoother and smelling amazing - plus they were a bargain! I've gone through a bottle of each now so it's time to invest in some more - I may try out some of the different collections too!
Monthly Mags - Cosmo, Company, Elle & Glamour
Yes... I may have gone a little overboard with mags this month - 4 is definitely a bit unnecessary .... but there were so many great freebies I couldn't say no!
I love being able to sit down at home or at work and flick through a good mag and these this month have been amazing!
Not only did I get some great free gifts including Benefit's porefessional, but there were lots of a great articles, lots of looks I want to steal and lots of clothes I need to buy!

No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser
After running out of my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish (one of my holy grail products) this month and being a bit strapped for cash I decided to give this baby a go.
I've had this sat around for a while - I bought it with a No7 voucher a couple of months ago because it bought it down to half the usual price (barry bargain) - and thought now was a good a time as ever to give it a whirl!
I wasn't expecting it to be as good as my beloved cleanse and polish but this stuff gave me a pleasant surprise! It took off my make-up just as well as my C&P, felt light and creamy and have a nice smell about it. The only thing that wasn't great was the muslin cloth along side it - it wasn't as soft and gentle as the nice Liz Earle ones but still worked a charm!
I have been using this every night now and still have so much of the 200ml product left - it is definitely going to last a good while!
Nivea Soft 75ml Tube
This product has been a god send to me. I use it daily and have rambled on about it for the past year! I normally buy a big tub of this stuff but that isn't always that handy ..... so hello to this cute little 75ml tube! This is perfect for my handbag and keeping next to my bedside table!
I use this every night before I go to sleep and it works so well for my skin! I've tried so many night creams recently and they all seem to bring me out in spots (which is not like my skin at all) I love the scent and can't imagine anything taking this stuff's place anytime soon! Superdrug have these at half price at the moment too so they are only £1.24!!
Iggy Azalea - The New Classic Album
Jesus, I had been waiting for this album for what seemed like forever!
About a year ago I first heard Iggy's song 'Work' - and since then I have been praising and bowing down to this woman! This album has been on repeat this whole month and I love love love it! Favourite songs have to be Work, Black Widow, F*** Love & Fancy.
AND obviously I am obsessed with Problem by Ariana Grande & Iggy - two of my favourite artists ever - best song of the year!

POTW #16 : Make-Up Revolution Amazing Sheer Lipgloss Tube - Baby Try

It's Friday which means it's product of the week time - and this week it's all about lips, lips, lips and it's another product from that snazzy new company Make-Up Revolution!
All the products I have tried from them so far I have been so impressed with and they are slowly making their way into my make-up routine everyday in some shape or form!
This is the Amazing Sheer Lipgloss in shade Baby Try* (cute name)
This is a product that I have surprised myself with, I normally hate these sorts of lipgloss. I have never been a fan of "tube" type glosses - I just never liked how sticky they felt and I thought the application process was a bit pants and that you didn't get much in the tube!
But.... I take it all back!

This stuff is lovely, totally non-sticky (compared to other tubes I've tried in the past), a fabulous pigmented bright colour which glides on super easy.
I have been wearing this non-stop, I love the bright bubblegum barbie shade - I'm such a sucker for things PINK and shiny!
Want to know the best part? This little beaut is only £1! Yup, I am serious, just 100 pennies for this gorgeous lipgloss - totes affordable and amazing quality for the price!
I'm obsessed with this brand!

Have you tried anything from MUR yet? What are your fav products?

POTW #13 : Collection Bronze Glow Mosiac Powder

This was a very spur of the moment product last week! I was in Superdrug just having a browse- spotted this, saw it was only £2.99 and though - I'll have that!
This is the Collection Bronze Glow Mosiac Powder in shade - 1 Sunkissed and it my product of the week!
I have been using this daily since purchasing it and it has joined the prestigious ranks of my make-up bag (not shoved in  storage like alot of other things!)

A gorgeous shimmery bronzer which is up there with my favourite shimmer bricks! I have been popping this on the apples of my cheeks and am loving the glow/tan it has been giving me!
For £2.99 you can't really go wrong - Collection have been really impressing me lately!

Dieting & Me : #5 #ChocolateFreeMay

I will happily admit and hold my hands up - I am totally and utterly addicted to chocolate (and sugar in general) and it is my MAJOR downfall when it comes to dieting and sticking to a healthy diet.

I've tried for the last few months to cut back on the devil in brown but as much as I try I just always come crawling back no matter how good the rest of my diet has been!
Having given up meat for 6 weeks recently and finding it a breeze I decided that I needed to give myself a proper challenge.
Something that will take willpower and something that will be tough for me to stick to.
So here it is - Chocolate Free May (#ChocolateFreeMay). I am going to give up chocolate for the month of May.
I will be having nothing chocolate related -not even a bowl of coco-pops!

I can tell you now - this will be hard for me, I haven't even started yet and I am already doubting myself BUT I am determined to complete it and prove to myself (and my boyfriend) that I can control my intake!

I tweeted about this recently and I had lots of you replying saying you'd love to join me (especially after the Easter pig-out) let me know if you want to join in, it will be great to have people to go through this with me!

So tomorrow and for the next 30 days after that .... wish me luck! Hopefully this will help me loose a bit of weight aswell... seeing as chocolate is my major downfall when it comes to that balanced diet, having none of it should help my shift a few unflattering lbs!
