L'oreal Volume Million Lashes Feline Mascara Review

Over the last few years I've tried new mascara's here and there but you probably all know that I always venture back to the same product - Maxfactor's Masterpiece Max.
It now takes alot for me to want to purchase a 'new' mascara as not many seem to work for me as well as Masterpiece and I like to stick to what I know works.
I'm a big fan of 'comb' type brushes as I have such short lashes and small eyes it makes it easier for me to create longer looking lashes.

I tried a sample of Benefit's Roller Lash when it was released earlier this year and really liked it, but being double the price of my normal mascara budget I didn't purchase after trying.
So...... when I spotted a high street brand bringing out a mascara with a brush that looks fairly similar to Roller Lash.... I was seriously interested!

Yes, L'oreal have added yet another mascara to their highly popular Volume Million Lashes range in the name of 'Feline'!
The legendary brush is now arched, fitting the eyelid shape perfectly and making it super easy to capture every lash with each stroke.

Curved brushes have become really popular these last few months and this mascara has been working so well for me!
I use my eyelash curlers as normal and then use Feline to coat my lashes root to tip giving them great length and a fabulous flare!

Volume Million Lashes Feline is priced at £10.99 and is being released THIS week so keep your eyes peeled in your local Boots stores as I think there may be a cheaper introductory price for the first few weeks!

Rimmel London Brow This Way Brow Styling Gel Review

Brow gel, a new concept and a new product to me and I feel seriously behind!
Really.... what kind of a beauty blogger am I?! Terrible!
This newbie product from Rimmel seemed right up my street, especially as 1. I'm on a budget and 2. this is my first eye brow gel product so I picked it up without even thinking twice!
There weren't many shades to choose from but Medium Blonde seemed perfect for me anyway!
Brow This Way (love the name) comes in a small mascara type tube and is priced at £3.99!
The brush is about half the size of a mascara brush (obviously... you don't want half your forehead a medium brown shade!) and I've found it really easy to apply.

Just one easy swipe across each brow leaves them defined and set in place for the whole day.  I have still been using my pencil for the inner part of the brows as they are a bit thin on the ground after years of being a teenage overplucker, but apart from that this is the only product I've needed!

I love the natural look it gives, compared to my usual thick powders and pencils I've become so comfortable with using over the years, this gives me a great defined shape without a huge amount of product clogging up my brows!
It's lightweight and doesn't feel hard or crispy... my worst nightmare!
I'm so glad I've found this, it is perfect for my brows at the moment where my tint from HD brows has faded a fair bit! I may buy another shade aswell for when my HD brows are first done and slightly darker!

Have you guys tried any eyebrow gels yet? I really want to try the benefit one out now I know I can get along with them!

Lee Stafford Fat 'n' Flexible Hold Hairspray Review

Hairspray can be a lifesaver. With the weather we've been having lately - the stuff is a god-send for keeping our hair the same as when we left the house.
The only problem I have with the stuff is how heavy it can be. Crispy, hard hair is a dreaded fear of mine when using hairspray - but no longer do I need to worry because I've found this stuff : Lee Stafford's Fat 'n' Flexible Hold Hairspray.
Hairspray isn't a product I have normally used regularly, in fact it is normally if I've curled it that I will spray it to keep it in place. But with the wind and rain being so horrific the last few months even my day-to-day up-do's have needed a little extra help!
Lee Stafford is my favourite hair brand - the amount of posts and mentions his products have had on this blog are countless - the scent, the packaging,  the promises they live up-to, - I love it all.
But just plain old hairspray was never a product I had tried from them before ... until now!
I  have been using this for the past week or so and have been so so happy with the results. It really does live upto what it says on the label!
Totally amazing hairspray, that you can hardly feel in your hair!
I've been using this on a daily basis (which is so not like me), it is so light, totally non-sticky and keeps your hair feeling like it's natural self!
It really does give you total freedom with your hair and keeps it big and bouncy which is a bonus.... not to mention it has the great Lee Stafford scent - soooo much nicer than that normal hairspray smell we all know.

Fat 'n' Flexible is a 200ml can, a great size that will last for ages, the £6.49 price tag is totally justified in my opinion!
Another fab product to add to my collection and keep my hair under control for both simple, casual daytime looks and glam nights out!

Seventeen Instant Glow Cream Bronzer Review

Another new product from that ever growing brand Seventeen? Why yes... yes it is!
I spotted this when I spotted the new Tan Liquid Glow Skin Wow (Review here) and thought it looked like a winner so picked it up!
It is the Seventeen Instant Glow Cream Bronzer.
Cream bronzer's are something I've had my eye on for a while but still were yet to pick up and try out!
I've really been loving Seventeen's products this past 6 months, they keep bringing out such fantastic new products which I haven't seen from other drugstore brands! (The skin wow! highlighter being my ulitmate fav!)
This stuff is a lovely warm tone with a slight shimmer in a neat square compact (although I had a bit of a struggle trying to get into it the first couple of times! - I blame my nails)
The bronzer is a fab lightweight creamy texture which is so easy to build up to your desired colour.
In the photo below this stuff looks a little orange.... damn my pale white skin! (To be fair I haven't seen proper sunlight in a good month or so I reckon, the joys of England!)
Once rubbed in this bronzer fades into a gorgeous natural glow - perfect to wear with or without make-up!
I have been popping this on after my foundation to help contour my cheekbones and am loving it!
This, along with the skin wow instant tan, is an absolutely perfect product for spring and summer!
This bronzer is just £4.99 - and so so worth picking up! I'm hoping to go on holiday at some point this year (and hopefully sooner rather later) and this will be top of my make-up picks to take with me for a minimal make-up look in the sun!
