Palmers New Coconut Oil Formula Range

You may well remember last week I posted about the new body lotion I had been using and how I had fallen madly in love with it! (here)
Well since then the lovely people at Palmers have sent me more of the new range to have a little goosey gander at - exciting right? #thankyou

I am obsessed with coconut oil and this range is yet again another huge HIT for Palmers in my opinion!

I thought it was only fair that I gave you a little look at the collection that has been released....
Left to Right :
Palmers Coconut Oil Formula Body Oil*, Body Lotion*, Body Cream* & Head Cream*

The body oil is something I probably wouldn't normally pick up when shopping for myself - I'm always drawn more to lotions and things that I know will sink it's the skin and not leave it greasy. Well, I am so glad I've managed to try something different here as my thoughts on oils has completely changed. This stuff is lovely and perfect for popping on before leaving the house when I've got my legs out!

The body lotion I have already talked about in my previous post so you can read all about that right..... here!

The thickest of the bunch is the body cream. In a 125g tub just a tiny bit of this rich cream goes a whole long way. A little blob covers my whole arm (even my bingo wings!) and it's only £5 - cheaper than the body shop right?! This is perfect for helping the skin stay smooth and hydrated - and keep that tan! (which I WILL get this year!)

Now the product I know that I am going to use the most - the hand cream. My hands get so, so dry - especially with the amount of hand gel I use daily. This is the perfect product to have in my handbag 24/7 and it smells divine!

So there's a little sneak peek for you - this range is out NOW and I highly recommend it to all your coconut lovers!

Palmers Coconut Oil Body Lotion Review

Since starting this blog back in 2013 I have slowly learnt that when a new product or range is released I don't always need to run out, jump on the band wagon and buy it/them - mainly because my bank account doesn't like it - but there are some things that I can't help but go "oooooo" and pop into my basket as soon as I've spotted them and this happened to be one of them.
Palmers are well-known worldwide for their aray of amazing cocoa butter based products - whether it's a hand cream or a body lotion I'm sure most of you would have used something from the brand before.
I spotted this new Coconut oil body lotion last week and before I'd even looked at the price I knew I was going to buy it.
I LOVE the scent of coconut and coconut oil is one of those beauty products I just adore so seeing this new lotion I just thought win-win!

This stuff is alot thicker than I imagined for a 'lotion', creamy and fluffy it has a real luxurious feel to it and a little bit goes a long, long way!
I've been using a 20p-50p sized dollop to do each leg every evening aswell as popping some on my arms and stomach.

The ingredients in the lotion are raw, natural ingredients and are Paraben, Phthalate, Mineral Oil, Gluten, Sulfate & Dye free - which I know will make alot of you readers happy!

The coconut oil deeply moisturises and softens while the Monoï Oil helps to keep the skin hydrated - perfect for this hot and humid weather - leaving the other main ingredient, almond oil, to soothe and comfort. (hello help for sunburn!) Plus it has Vitamin E ... which we all know I'm a huge fan of!

After only a few days of using this stuff I am ecstatic with the results! I have only been using this at night as the scent is quite strong and although I love it it's a bit much to wear each day alongside perfumes but it honestly keeps my skin feeling hydrated for the 24 hours it promises!

Priced at £4 and seeing how little I need each time to cover myself H2T - this is hands down going to become a staple in my beauty routine, such a bargain, high five Palmers!

Palmer's Bust Cream Review

Boobs! There we go... I got your attention!
Yes today we are talking boobies... I'd say 98% of you readers are of the female persuasion so this hopefully won't make you feel uneasy at all!

This was a bit of a random, spontaneous purchase for me. After stumbling across this product from Palmers online and seeing some glowing reviews I thought why not give it a go! So I used my Boots points and ordered it into store. (Made me feel like I got it for free so it wasn't so bad!)

This cream is to help firm and tone the bust area aswell as reducing the apperance of stretch marks.
After gaining and then loosing a fair bit of weight (to lol at a fatter me click here.) my boobs have had a rough ride! At one point they were hitting nearly a G size - ridiculous huh? But now I'm back to my normal size 10/12 self they aren't as great as they used to be. (Is this too much info for a blog post..... well if so, sorry - but I've started so I'll finish!) Palmers has made this cream especially for these sorts of problems - pregnancy and extreme wight gain/loss being the main two.

This cream comes out a white colour but rubs in like a soft serum type gel! Rubbed in in circular motions this cocoa butter smells amazing and leaves the skin feeling really soft.
I've been using this for the past few weeks, although I haven't been using it as much as recommended.
This cream is meant to be applied at least twice a day but I am majorly slack and have been using it once a day... if that! I'm just forgetful/lazy okay and when I'm sleepy at night I just can't be bothered!
Saying this even though I've only used it at half the rate recommended I have still noticed that the few stretch marks I have have slightly faded.
I really believe that with more dedication in using this that it really could cause a dramatic change, each time I've used it the bust area has felt alot firmer and with more application I'm sure it would last.

For £6.95 this is just a fraction of the price of other high end products which promise the same thing! I'll definitely be re-purchasing once I've got through this tube!

POTW #14 : Palmer's Shea Butter Formula Concentrated Cream

Product of the week time!
I am soooo guilty of over-using anti-bac hand gel and recently it has been having a right old affect on my poor old hands!
Yup, dry patches have started to appear, which is a totally new thing for me - I've never had this problem before, so I am blaming me and my addicted hand-gel ways!
I thought maybe it was time I upped my hand cream game and went for something a bit stronger than hand food and my standard Nivea creams.
This was on offer in Superdrug and I'm a huge fan of Palmer's and their products and as it said 'for extra dry skin' I thought why not give it a go! (No harm in trying things out right? Especially when they are just over £1!)
This has had such a great affect on my dry hands! The patches are completely gone and they feel so soft! Time to try this stuff on my dry legs and feet too!
The only thing I'm not too sure about is the scent... it's strange but bearable!

Have any of you guys tried this out before? If your struggle with dry patches I highly recommend this stuff!

March Favourites

Favourites, favourites, favourites - it's another one of those posts! My favourites things I have been LOVING this month - aka March!

Now I know this is mainly a beauty blog but as always they'll be a few extra's thrown in there - like to keep you on your toes don't I!

First up Simple's Shower Gel! I have been having trouble with dry and irritated skin lately and I thought maybe the highly perfumed shower products (aka soap and glory) I had been using may have had something to do with it so I may the choice to try out a more 'simple' shower gel!
This has made a great difference, my skin seems to feel alot better and I'm going to keep on using this for now - especially as it is discounted in Boots at the moment to about £1.30 - time to stock up!
I did a whole post on this perfume nearly 2 months ago now - and I am still LOVING it! It is Vivienne Westwood Cheeky Alice! This is my go-to perfume every morning at the moment, it is such a great everyday scent! (My full review is here.)
Now who isn't obsessed with Cocoa Butter?! Palmers is a brand I have used and I recently picked up their snazzy lip balm! This stuff has been a total lifesaver the last few weeks for me - with the drastic changes in weather and works air-con/heating my lips have been getting so sore and chapped and this has been seeing my through and helping me avoid that horrific "trip-lip" (as I like to call it)!
Not only does it keep my lips hydrated and smooth whilst prevented chappedness but it also smells yummy and keeps my lip a gorgeous shine! I've already bought another one for when this runs out!
Next up is my Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream. I bought this back at Christmas in the half price sale and up until the beginning of March it had kind of been sitting in the corner!
But I have told myself I need to moisturise this face alot more - especially at night so this has been my go-to product before I hit the hay at night! It smells lovely and fresh, isn't greasy and keep my skin feeling hydrated and plump - this stuff is yet again another barry bargain!

Ru Paul's Drag Race.
Holy moly I have been addicted to this show! This past month or so I have watched ALL 5 seasons on Netflix.... yes I wasn't kidding when I said I was addicted! (I need to watch Season 6 asap!) This is like my dream show, like America's Next Top Model but for drag queens - ahhhh my god it's SO good! These guys are hotter girls than I'll ever be - and they are hilarious!
Fav seasons have to be 4 and 5! I LOVE Sharon Needles, Wilam, Alaska, Detox, Jinyx Monsoon!

The Pretty Reckless - Going To Hell. I have been waiting for this album for MONTHS! You all know that TPR are my fav band so of course I have't been dissapointed! Amazing band, amazing album - I HAVE to go and see them at the IOW Festival!!

So there's another month's favourites for you guys - I feel like it's a bit thin on the ground this month so I apologise for that - being on a spending ban means alot less buying and trying new things (sad face).
