KSNY x Minnie Mouse Card Case

Sometimes you've just got to treat yourself.... and by sometimes I mean, most of the time!

To be fair I had been looking at this little cutie for a while, it was only when I spotted a 20% off code and I was in a grumpy splurgey mood the other week that I decided it would be a great time to place the order! (Sorry Mum...)

I have always loved the look of Kate Spade stuff - from the bags to the jewellery to the stationary, all so cute right?
So when I heard about the Minnie Mouse collection I literally thought  - 'shut the front door I need it all.' (like I do when any brand brings out a Disney collection of some kind!)
Now.... I'm not in a position to buy a £300 bag on a whim (as much as I would love too) but treating myself to a little snippet of the collection is allowed!
I've wanted a simple card holder for a while now - I hate carrying my huge Ted Baker purse to the gym and on nights out so this looked like the perfect little case the carry the essentials in..... and it is!
This is alot more than my usual Primark budget but I thought it was an investment.... right? It's so cute!

Totally perfect for what I wanted it for and perfect for Orlando next year! Last time I went I had to buy a little card holder because my purses were just rubbish - you have hardly any change because there because you get so many $1 bills so this will be just right!
The Minnie Mouse collection is available at Kate Spade UK - here.

Ralph Lauren 5150 : Sunglasses Shop

Now if you think that sunglasses are only for those summer months then you are seriously mistaken!
That winter sun can be a totally blinding when it's out (it does happen I promise, it's not always doom and gloom), so having a good pair of sunglasses is definitely a priority of mine even if it's that advent calendar time of year!
Cat eye glasses have been storming the sunglasses scene this past year or so, with celebrity's and high street stores embracing the trend they have been everywhere!

Recently the SunglassesShop asked me if I would like to try one of their pairs of sunglasses, so of course I leaped at the chance!
Like I said before, sunglasses are something I need all year round and I always like to have pair in my handbag..... just in case that cheeky little sun decides to pop it's head through the never-ending clouds!
These are the 5150 sunglasses from the fabulous Ralph Lauren in the shade - Tortoise Pink Plum and they are priced at £77.
I think sunglasses are one of the few things that I don't mind paying more than high-street prices for. Alot of sunglasses out there don't have the right amount of protection in the lenses and the fit can be a bit rubbish - so you always know when buying designer sunglasses they are going to be a higher quality!

I love the shape of these glasses, I'm a bit fussy when it comes to size as I feel like I have  huge head so need a fairly big frame to suit me and the shade of the lense is lovely too - I don't like it when they really see-through and you can see my beady eyes clearly!

Keep your eyes peeled on my instagram and twitter for more photos of these beauts - I wore them the other day and got some lovely compliments, I'm officially obsessed and praying for more sunshine this winter... I can't wait until next year to wear these more!

Make sure you check out SunglassesShop for a huge range of designer glasses at really reasonable prices - they could make the perfect Christmas present for someone.... your yourself!

Festival Fashion - The Evolution

So.... we all LOVE Festival fashion don't we?! Well... how amazing is this new feature on New Look's website at the moment?
The Evolution of Festival Fashion - http://daily.newlook.com/festival-fashion-timeline

You can click on the years through 1969 to 2013 and check out what Festivals, styles and music were on trend back then and how they all had an influence on each other! I really loved going through this and seeing how many I have worn, loved and loathed over the years (even the ones I wasn't alive for!)
Here are a few of my favs....

I love do love listening to rock music (not all of it mind you but some I adore ... The Pretty Reckless being my favourite band ever!) and the style shown here is one that's close to my heart - I love the boohoo hippy style, very Nicole Richie and Vanessa Hudgens!

1996 and the 'genre' is Brit Pop. I mean... what isn't to like? Reading through the "style" section and it says 'Aloha shirts, paisley shirts, printed pees, parka jackets' - sound familiar? Yup it sounds seriously like the style of 2013 right now and I love it!
Well obviously this one was going to be close to my heart - The Isle Of Wight Festival. My home and the first festival I ever went too! The first time I went was 2005 and I've been 7 times since then. With printed scarves and skinny jeans being on the style fashion items for this year I know most of you are going to be a fan!

Another proud moment,  my home being mentioned again with Bestival - my favourite festival! With Bestival being the only fancy dress festival I think literally anything goes! If you haven't been to a Festival before I really really recommend you go to Bestival - I have yet to meet someone who's attended and not liked it!
Even though this has been shown as 2006 I think all the indie and new rave fashion items and designers listed are still totally on trend and being rocked at every festival - fluroscent colours being a huge one.  Izzy Azaela being a personal fav of mine - always love what she is wearing!
At last but not least this year, 2013! I've been to one Festival so far this year and as always I noticed so many cool trends and styles, I love people who wear something a bit different and stand out from the crowd! Trust your own style and rock whatever you fancy!
What have you been wearing to Festival this year?
Or are planning on going to any of the Festivals yet to happen?

Check it out HERE and let me know which styles, trends and genres are your favourties (or if you buy anything from the New Look site.... I am obsessed with their current range!)
