Well it's been a while since I uploaded a fashion based post and even though this month marks my 2nd whole year of blogging, it still makes me nervous! Putting my whole self out there is a little bit daunting but I really like doing them so I just have to be brave and hit publish!
Playsuits are a big love of mine, I'm not the skinniest of girls but I feel like they can be really flattering when you have a right style.
This floral beaut is from The Fashion Bible and it is one of their limited edition pieces! I dyed my hair pink earlier this week and popped a photo up on twitter and I think I had just as many tweets about the playsuit I was wearing as I did the hair change!
When I first looked at it I was so in two minds regarding the cut out section.... my boobs aren't my best feature so having them on show isn't something I do....ever... but I was off out with the girls for a few drinks so thought - why not!
I'm not overly confident with my body and it's still a bit bloomin' chilly here so I decided to pair it with some black tights and my favourite lace up black boots. (which I have soooo over-worn but I can't help it... I love them.)
I LOVE the pattern so much, although it's a dark floral it still has those bright pretty colours to help it fit into the Spring season. The fit (size M) is perfect for me, I'm a size 10-12 and it feels really comfy, it is quite short for me (I'm around 5 8") but the floaty material hides this, thank goodness!

It's party season and I have a few posts coming up on here to help you get ready for that festive season of eating, drinking and looking fabulous!
Today is all about the dresses. Sometimes, us social butterflys and party lovers have more than one event to attend in December.
Work do's, family do's, general get-togethers and New Years Eve - the thought of buying so many outfits is stressful to say the least so here is a few party dresses I've found for under £30! The cheaper the price the more we can buy right?
With festival season well underway and with Bestival (my fav) on the horizon I thought what better thing to do, in true beauty/fashion blogger style, than to share with you guys a cheeky Festival look and also my top beauty essentials for a Festival!
Recently Folli Follie asked me if I would like to join their My Festival Style campaign. I am a huge festival lover as you may already know. Living on the doorstep of two of the UK's biggest I always love to spend weeks and weeks planning my outfits for the weekend aswell as my hair & make-up choices (am I sad? no! I'm a girl!)
So obviously this campaign was right up my street and I jumped at the chance to be involved, with millions of ideas for outfits flooding my mind I settled for this one - something I can hopefully wear to Bestival in a few weeks time (*praying*)
Hat : Primark
Sunglasses : Primark
Necklace* : Folli Follie
Dress : Fashion Union
Watch* : Folli Follie
Bag : ASOS
Wellies : Hunter
So with the sun shining and music on I've gotten in the funky festival mood! I love this dress, it is from Fashion Union but I managed to get it half price in a sale at New Look! It's super comfy and as much as I love the look of playsuits in the summer - they aren't always festival practical!
This hat is something I was a little nervous about buying, it's a little OTT for me but it was a total bargain in Primark and I actually really like how it looks! Hat's are great, especially when it's sunny and you're outside for most of the day - protect yourselves people! Wellies are essential.... as well as sunglasses!
Folli Follie were so so lovely to send me some gorgeous items to help perfect my Festival look! I think a watch is a must have item for a Festival, with bands on at certain times and meeting people left, right and centre - you need to know the time 24/7! Yes we all have phones but when you're in a crowd or in a muddy field you don't always want to have to delve around in your bag to find your phone!
This watch is gorgeous, it is the Watchalicious Watch*(best name ever!) It's a super pretty rose gold (blogger fav right?) and I love that is doesn't look too bulky even on my tiny wrist!I have literally worn it everyday since receiving it, incredible quality and soooo pretty - I mean... look at it! And the necklace, oh I love the necklace! It is the Rose Gold Carma Necklace* and it's gorgeous I'm obsessed, it goes with so much, I'm proper chuffed with it! (Yes, I just used the word chuffed!)
Now, style part down let's hit the beauty bits! Even though, yes there may be mud, there may be smelly toilets - hell, there may even be sick - us girls still want our beauty products near us at all times right? Why should a Festival be any different?
These are things that I always take with me and use when heading to a Festival.
Floral headbands ..... a total obvious cliche choice I know. But..... they look pretty and can seriously hide a bad hair day! I love this red and pink one from New Look* and the baby pink one I've had for years, they finish off a cute outfit perfectly.
False eyelashes are a must have for me at a festival! No worrying about re-applying mascara all day, these make anyone look glam and you can go as big as you want at a festival, anything goes! My favs are 107's or 101's from Eylure.
Eyeshadows after a whole day at the festival don't always look the best (well on me anyway!) as much as I'd love to have some crazy mutli-coloured look I always stick to my trusty neuttals! The Naked Basics* palette is perfect for me, so compact and gorgeous shades! (I'm such a wimp when it comes to eyeshadows!)
Lip products that are a 2 in 1 are also up there with my favourite things to take to a Festival! The new baby lips electro are perfect, amazing colour whilst keeping your lips hydrated!
It get hot seriously hot and sweaty in all those crowds so the Liz Earle Skin Tonic Spritzer is perfect for keeping you feeling refreshed and awake, I love spraying this across my chest and up my arms!
You wanna smell nice during your weekend of fun don't you? Travalo's are a godsend. I have used these for years and they were just made for things like this! Pump your favourite perfumes into the handy tiny atomizer! As well as this why not get some testers to take with you aswell? The new Hugo Boss Ma Vie* is gorgeous (you got even put a tester into your Travalo!
Suncream is a must, protecting your skin and doubling up as a moisturiser too! For my hair Umberto Giannini's Backcomb In A Bottle* is fab for keeping all that mane how you want it and looking big, bouncy and fabulous, plus a dry shampoo is a must for a weekend of madness, I love this one by Aussie! Tissues, tissues, tissues, you will be using poratloos alot.... lots of drinks are to blame there and there isn't always loo roll so I have have a pack of tissues in my bag constantly..... just hide them when your in the queue otherwise every Tom, Dick and Harry will be asking you for one! Back to talking about portaloo's and all those other grimey places you'll come across.... anti-bac gel will make you feel alot better about life! So there you are, a little look at a festival wardrobe idea and my fav beauty bits to take with me! Thanks so much Folli Follie for getting me involved, I love anything to do with Festivals and I've found this so much fun!
Have you been to any Festivals this year? Going to any?

It's an OOTD! I feel like I haven't done one of these in forever (sorry), mainly because 50% of my life I'm in my work uniform and 40% of the time I'm in pjs which only leaves 10% of my life trying to look cute!
Nevertheless I love fashion and on my days off I like to glam up and put a bit of effort in, even if I don't have many plans! So here is a little look at an outfit I put together the other day for a day in the sunshine... (yes my legs are white, lets not all dwell on it - I'll be in Florida soon and you won't be laughing then!)
I had been looking at this dress for a long while on ASOS (it's RI but I always like to get my stuff from their on ASOS due to my free delivery with ASOS Premier!) - I've always been a bit dubious about smock dresses as I'm not really really slim so I worry they will make me look even bigger, like wearing a tent! As it was in the sale (total bargain!) I thought I'd just order it and see and as soon as I tried it on I fell in love!
I really like the unusal half and half pattern and it is so comfy... and thankfully doesn't make me look like a size 24!
The bag is from ASOS and again in the sale (I like a bargain alright!), super cute everyday bag that I have used constantly since getting it!
Last up I'm going to talk about these gorgeous metallic snakeskin sandals! These were sent to me last month from the extremely lovely people at Daniel Footwear, a brand which I had heard of and always gazed at when strolling around Gunwharf Keys in Portsmouth.
I'm never one for spending alot on sandals and things for summer as I normally just buy new ones each year! These are quite expensive in my opinion but after wearing them I think the price is totally jusifiable!
You can tell alot of time has gone into creating these, I've never had shoes that felt so nice!
They are so so comfortable and really do fit like a dream. I was a little worried at first as the initial zipping up at the back felt so tight and I was so scared that I was going to zip my skin up with it (cringe) but once on they don't feel tight at all and are a perfect fit! I like that they have an easy zip fastening , lots of buckles and things put me off shoes, especially in the summer when you need them to be quick and easy to take on and off!
I have been wearing these so much, they look great on and have been amazing for this crazy hot weather we have been having and are 100% coming with me to Orlando!
So they we have it, another OOTD for you guys! Please let me know what you think, I always get so nervous when uploading posts like this... I'm such a wimp!

If you follow me on twitter you will know that in 2 short weeks I am going to be moving out for the first time (yes at the age of 23!) and moving into a flat with my lucky boyfriend! So for the last few weeks I have been picking up a few bits here and there for it - it is addictive - and when I mentioned doing a little homeware haul on twitter you were all really interested so I thought I'd go ahead and do one! (My twitter is @KirstieLouiseS ) Here is just a few things I have picked up for my new flat! (Obviously I've been ordering pretty new furniture too but that isn't here yet and I didn't really think kitchen utensils and a wok or two would interested you all!)
I actually picked up this canvas a little while ago (you may have seen on instagram!) but it has just been sat in my room, because I am lazy, so I thought it would be perfect to take to the new flat. I love everything it says - it is so true (minus the fact I hate coffee). I'm thinking of putting it up in the bathroom as it goes with the colour scheme in there ... and it does say "bubble bath" on it! It is from good old Matalan and was only £8 - bargain!
I love these boxes so so much! Don't you think they are so pretty?! I've had just one for ages and when I knew I was moving out I thought they'd be perfect for storing lots of stuff in (as I'm not taking all my furniture from home). At the moment I have one for photos, one for all my travelling memories - (tickets, photos, bits and bobs etc) and I have a third one in which I haven't filled yet but I think it would be perfect for birthday cards/postcards and little memories that I have kept over the years ....I may be a little bit of a hoarder! I also really want to buy another one for nail polishes and at the moment my storage for all of mine isn't great! I'm going to keep them under my dressing table when it arrives! They are from Tesco and are about £4.25/£4.50ish!
These are just some tissues boxes (boring to some of you) and I merely bought them because they had a cute pattern and they were on offer! 2 for £2 in Boots and they are meant to be £1.99 each anyway, bargain I'd say! I thought these would look cute on each of our bedside tables (nice and symmetrical!) .... yes he is having a flowery box of tissues and will have to deal with it!
Sorry about the annoying flash in the photo! Now I know some of you may find this a weird thing to have bought so soon but because I yo-yo so much with my weight I knew I had to have these to keep on track! Quote my Mum "you WILL put on weight when you move in with a boyfriend" .... No I shall not haha! I got these paricular ones as they are digital and I feel they are probably more accurate that your ordinary scales! They are from Boots and were around £16ish I think.
This is something I bought maybe over a year ago. (I know I know it shouldn't be in this recent haul blah blah blah but shhhh it's being included!) I saw it on play.com and obviously fell in love and with it being only £3.29 or so I had to buy it. It is a Wizard Of Oz tea towel and when I bought it I said "this is for when I move out!" so here she is! Looking on play.com now it is a ridiculous £17.21 ... but I'm sure you can find it cheaper elsewhere!
These cute floral lined wicker baskets are from Tesco and were only£9for the pair! I thought these would be perfect for storing products in! As you can see I have been picking up stuff for the boyf and I already! All these things have been on offer (£1 or just over) so I grabbed them while I could - will keep us going for a while!
Candles, candles, candles I love candles. I have been buying the "Damson and Pomegranate" one for years from Tesco and it is probably one of my favourite candle scents ever. So, when I went into Tesco and saw that they now make an extra large version of it for only £5 I was in there like swimwear! £5 for 80hours burning time of the most amazing smell - you can't say no! The other candle I got is the Yankee Candle in "Black Coconut" and again (of course) this was another bargain! I have been eyeing up this badboy for months, I love coconut scents and Yankee candles are always such good quality and this was HALF PRICE! Yup, the Clinton Cards by me at the moment are having a big old sale (possibly closing down the poor old thing!) and this included some of the Yankee candles so I got this for £8.49 instead of £16.99 - Barry Bargain! (and it will go with all the furniture I've purchased so far!)
Lastly, something I nearly forgot about, is this little sweet jar! (Photo from phone instead of camera - sorry!) I actually saw this in a charity shop and with it being only £1.50 I thought - why not! It is a cream china and covered in Liquorice Allsorts - perfect to whack in the kitchen and keep little treats in!
Let me know what you think of this post and if you want to see anymore updates or posts about my move and new flat!
