Helpful Handbag Products From Merci Handy

If you're anything like me, anti-bac is your life. 
It's true.... I can't go anywhere without a trusty bottle of anti-bacterial hand gel safely nestled in my bag. Ready for public places, people and of course - transport, I don't think I could actually tell you how many bottles of gel I've gone through in my lifetime but, it's a lot!

Merci Handy contacted me last month at the perfect time.... just before the lsle Of Wight Festival - a place where anti-bac is needed by the dozen and a total must-have for my festival backpack.
Receiving four of their hand gels, New Wave (not pictured), Cherie Cherry, Oh My Lemon & Black Vanilla, I knew I would be in no short supply... even when half my friendship group hold out their hands after every trip to a portaloo because they know I'm always armed!

These hand gels smell delightful and are in such a handy (excuse the pun) size, very similar to the old style Bath & Body Works hand gels. They aren't drying in the slightest which can be a real downfall for some brands and they actually leave my hands feeling really soft.
The scent 'New Wave' isn't pictured because I actually used the whole thing before I got round to shooting for this post.... it was my festival saviour!

The Merci Handy team were also kind enough to send me one of their Refreshing Face Mists.... which I didn't know I needed in my life until this god damn UK heatwave! 
A delightful reviving and refreshing mist which in it's 'Flower Power' scent reminds me of a body spray I used to use but in a very toned down form. The doesn't ruin my make-up and really does give a moment of cool to the face, neck and chest which is needed when stomping up a hill home!

Clutch Bag Essentials & Giveaway

It's coming to that time of year again. Christmas parties, family gatherings and that all important New Years Eve.
Most of these occassions will include a cute little dress, a nice pair of heels and of course.... a clutch bag!

Now I have a list of things I ALWAYS carry in my clutch - no matter what time of year or where I'm going - if I'm on a night out... these things will always be in my bag.

1. Tissues
I have to carry tissues wherever I go..... I think it's just the dreaded thought of having to go for a wee without them haha, believe me they have come in handy many a time on a night out!
2. Anti-Bac
Yeah.... I'm not leaving the house without this stuff! My favourite at the moment has to be the Soap & Glory Sugar Crush hand sanitizer, it smells amazing.
3. Eyelash Glue
I'm such an eyelash fan on a night out - I don't feel complete without them! I HAVE to take glue with me though, the thought of one flapping around and having no glue to fix it really scares me, so I always have one packed. 
4.Small Purse
How cute is this little Minnie Mouse coin purse! I don't like to take my huge wallet out with me (and normally it doesn't fit along with everything else in my bag) so a small purse it always a must. 
5. Lip colour of choice
Whatever shade I've picked - I've gotta take it with me! All those drinks sometimes rub it off so re-applying because a regular occurrence this time of year.

(Obviously my phone and keys are in there without question)
Last but not least.... 6. my Travalo! I can't even think how many times I've talked about these since I started blogging - it was even a blogger that made me buy one in the first place back in 2011, they looked so handy and I was about to go travlling so it was a must-have. Your favourite perfume with you anywhere and everywhere 24/7 - perfect for us girly girls!

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Hand Cleansing Gel

Well.... this is a product I have been waiting months and months for.

After seeing new sprays, lotions and hand creams in my favourite Soap & Glory scent I was hoping and wishing that a hand gel might be next on the list AND look - it's here!

As soon as I saw this announced on twitter I was buzzing like a bee to get my hands on it! I ordered it via Boots.com and had it sent to my local store for free - so easy and I had it within 24 hours, perfect!

Anti-bacterial hand gels are a MUST for my handbag, I can't live without them, I'm such a germophobe when I'm out in public.
This is obviously fabulous, I LOVE the Sugar Crush vanilla and sweet lime scent, the non-drying formula  is a bonus during this time of year and the packaging.... cute as always!

Big thumbs up for Soap & Glory, other product from them that I will be using daily.

I Love... Cleansing Hand Gel Collection

As we all probably know by now - I'm a bit of an anti-bac addict.
I couldn't tell you how many I have lying around or have used in the past but it is literally countless!
I always have one in my bag and am forever trying to find new ones to try so too see a new collection being released had me very excited!

You probably all recognise the 'I love...' brand - they have a huge collection out and I always seem to end up with at least one of their Christmas gifts from someone each year!
When I heard they were releasing a new range of hand gels I was over the moon - 1. because I'm a germophobe and 2. because their products always smell incredible!

Cleansing Hand Gels in : Raspberry & Blackberry*, Mango & Papaya*, Coconut & Cream*, Strawberries & Cream*.

As I had suspected - these hand gels smell incredible! My favourites have to be coconut & cream and strawberries and cream, I love a sweet scent and the smell really lasts.

Online it does state that these are an anti-bacterial sanitizer but on the packaging it doesn't, for me this is a little disappointing as I think you'd like to know it is anti-bac when you pick it up and read it. I'd normally only ever pick up a hand gel if it said 'kills 99.9%' of germs - like most do.

With the jojoba beads in the formula these leave your hands really hydrated and soft (and most importantly clean!) making these the perfect handbag accessory!

At only £1.25 for a 65ml these are a total steal so it's totally reasonable to buy the whole collection!

Product Of The Week #2

Yeah so I had a bit set back.... started these weekly posts and then - totally missed week 2 (although I did pre-warn it may not be every week)! Haha I'm such a fail, but in my defense it was my birthday week and I was super busy! 
BUT here is #2 and I promise to try my hardest to keep this up weekly from now on!

Product Of The Week #2 - Bath & Body Works I Love You Bouquet Anti-Bac Hand Gel.

I've mentioned before that I am obsessed with hand gels - I always have one in my bag and am constantly applying them. (I'm probably immune to them now the amount that I use them but still... it makes me feel better!)

The fact I've been using this particular one loads recently it a massive coincidence with the fact it is also Valentine's week!
 I had loads of these from when I went to America and have slowly, along with other brands, been getting through them all. Bath & Body Works is so amazing, we need to get it over here!

This stuff smells amazing, if you've had these gels before you will know how awesome BABW make them smell.
This scent is super sweet and lasts for ages - there is a certain zest to it which I can't quite put my finger on but what ever it is I like it! It also has the lovely bursting beads!
I love this anti-bac and I am going to be gutted when it runs out as I actually think it's the last one I have left from the US - *sad face* - time to get myself on eBay I think!
