I apologise for the lack of posts lately, once again life has taken over and unfortunately blogging had to take a backseat. But I'm back and fingers crossed there are lots of posts coming your way!
My hair has really done everything over the last few years - colours, lengths, styles... I've literally done it all!
At the beginning of this year I made a conscience effort to try and get my hair back into a good condition. After trying ombre for a few months I thought it was time to dye my hair all over and get it cut into a bob... therefore starting over completely with my hair.
Since then I have tried to keep it in the best condition I can and have only used heat on it a handful of times and it's already feeling a million times better!

Kirstie's April Favourites 2017
Well, well, well looks who's back with a favourites post.
It's been a fair while since I shared my favourite things from the month but seeing as I had a fair few stand-out things in April I thought what better way to talk about them than in a blog post!
First up something which could actually now go into an empties post as I've finished them - Hairburst's Chewable Hair Vitamins!
I had spotted these heart shaped gummies on Instagram in late March and thought 'I like the sound of those', so when I was browsing Holland & Barrett after payday and spotted them at half price (£9.99) I couldn't resist popping them in my basket.
I have to say I definitely feel like I noticed a difference, as most of you know I have gone back to my natural hair colour after year of bleaching and have been letting my hair grow out from a bob over the past few months. I think all of these things combined has helped transform my hair into what seems to be the healthiest and thickest state it's been in since about 2006!
Over the course of a month I think my hair has grown about an inch - which if I'm correct is double the average. I would love to keep giving these a go but my current budget won't allow for a £20 hair splurge... maybe once they are back on offer I can start re-using them.
Make-up time! I don't think I'm only blogger who's been a tiny bit mesmerised by the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter + Glow Liquid Eyeshadows! Kitten Karma is SO fabulous - I can't wait to rock this this festival season - I'm pretty pants when it comes to make-up but this are pretty much idiot free, so so easy to use!
Neal & Wolf's Elevate has 100% been in a favourites post before! I bought a replacement bottle of this back at the beginning of the year and I honestly had forgotten how much I love this stuff. I pop a 20p blob sized throughout my hair when it's damp after being washed and let my hair dry naturally (I'm trying to grow it people!) - not only does it smell fabulous but it makes my hair feel so soft and smooth, a total hair hero!
As soon as I heard that the Embryolisse Radiant Eye Cream was a favourite with stars such as Elle McPherson, Ariana Grande and Scarlett Johansson I knew I had to try it out and jumped at the offer of a sample!
Working at home behind a laptop Mon-Fri my eyes and the surrounding area gets so tired, puffy and generally drained so this product has been a god send. As I don't wear any make-up when working at home (I mean come on that would be a total waste!) popping this on once or twice a day to refresh and relax my eyes has been incredible. It immediately wakes me up and feels so soothing - plus I can always see a slight change in my skin, it definitely does what it says with brightening any looks of fatigue!
Thanks so much for reading you lovely lot :) I'm so glad I'm back blogging around, there's definitely been in a big whole in my life without it!

Now onto something slightly more random, the My Dad Wrote A Porno Podcast. Oh my good god this is so hilarious I have literally lost count as to how many times I've told friends to listen to it! The first two seasons had me bursting out into full on lols in public whilst alone... never a good look! I HIGHLY recommend this - season 3 comes out at the end of this month so you have a week or so to catch up and be totally scarred by the world of Belinda!
It wouldn't be a Kirstie favourites without some form of food stuck in there and the past few weeks I have been loving Deliciously Ella's Energy Balls and Protein World's Cinnamon Roll Slender Blend!
I actually, again, picked up the energy balls because they were on offer in Holland & Barrett (yes, I can spend ALOT of money in that store!) - they were only £1 instead of the eye-watering usual price of £2. I have to say these are such a fantastic snack whilst on the go, all natural ingredients and totally gluten, dairy and refined sugar free - I have nothing but positive things to say about these tasty balls! (okay regretting that wording...)
Like I've mentioned alot, I really love Protein World products and the Cinnamon Roll shake was a firm favourite throughout April - hands down my fav flavour from them.

This Week I'm Loving... #11
Katy Perry Prismatic World Tour
YAY! I got to see Katy again this past week. You might remember I went to the tour back in May 2014 and last week I hoped on a plane to Germany to go and see it again! This was the 5th time I've seen Katy and have to say she was better than ever! I had so so much fun and I'm so sad it's over! Thank you KP!
Neal & Wolf Silk* & Elevate
These products are my total holy grail at the moment. Elevate makes my hair so soft and sooth and Silk (the newest in my hair routine) is a fabulous blow-drying lotion which I feel like I've used so much over the last few weeks! Having long hair makes me more prone to wash, dry and style when going out, so this is a must! .... I'm considering cutting my hair short - thoughts please?
Make-Up Revolution Kohl & Flick*
This is a product that I had sat in a draw for so long and only discovered recently. I think it's a known fact that I am pants at eyeliner. I always used to stay clear as my eyes are so small and I thought it made them even smaller but I want to be able to do fabulous cat eye flicks so I have started practising with this and it is such a brilliant eyeliner. Plus it's super cheap!
Naked Palette
My palette collection seems to have tripled over the last few months so picking one to sit down and do my make-up with each time I want a snazzy smokey eye is becoming a slight challenge. Recently I picked up my ultimate fav... the original Naed palette from Urban Decay and fell back in love. I found a fab tutorial on youtube to use and really loved the outcome.
Sensodyne True White
New toothpaste alert! I spotted this in my local Boots and had to pick it up.... even those it has a painful price tag of £7.99! I love sensodyne toothpastes, I suffer from sensitive teeth so anything that helps that plus whitens my teeth is a winner for me. So far I've really enjoyed using it.
New Look Mom Jeans
I have finally ventured out of the world of skinny jeans... I know it's a miracle! I'd actually been eyeing these up on New Look's website for a few months so when they went into the sale I nabbed them straight away... for only £10! I wore them to Germany last week and they are so comfortable... although I got a size 12 and they are a little baggy I am so pleased with them and think they are going to get alot of wear during the upcoming Spring months!
Love, Rosie
I watched this on a whim yesterday and was so pleasantly surprised by how much I fell in love with it. Lily Collins is a favourite of mine and her English accent was awesome - so impressed! The story made me laugh out loud and want to sit and cry, such great chemistry with all the cast and a great story... I actually think I'm going to buy it on DVD!
MAC Cinderella Royal Ball Lipstick
Why hello lipstick that I've waiting for for what seems like months on end! The Cinderella collection was finally available online last week and I had all of 60 seconds to grab something as it was at the end of my work break when it went live. It was safe to say that I panic bought and only managed to get a lipstick.... which sucked! (But at last I got something eh!) This is a gorgeous nude and I am obsessed with the packaging - super pretty!

Beauty Wishlist : February
Tangle Teezer Blowdry Brush
For years now I have been a fan of the Tangle Teezer - I own 3 and don't know what I'd do without them! So seeing a new product from them has got me very excited! A blowdry brush - finally! It's not the easiest thing trying to blowdry your hair with a brush that doesn't have a handle so I cannot wait to get my hands on one of these!
Burberry Rain Or Shine Blush
I've never been much of a blush person, I've said this many times on here before! But after trying a few products from Make-up Revloution and buying Nars' Orgasm - I am slowly learning to love them! This looks like such a pretty shade for spring, perfect for simple, everyday looks.
Soap & Glory Archery D-I-Y Brow Bar
My HD Brow palette is slowly starting to run out so I have been checking out what's out there on the highstreet to try and this newbie from S&G caught my eye! 4 shades and 2 small angled brushes for only like £12? I need this!
Chloe Love Story Perfume
I tried this out in Debenhams a few weeks ago and fell in LOVE (excuse the pun!).
Smashbox Primer Water
Well this a new one isn't it! I love, love, love the sound of this stuff! I'm a big fan of Smashbox' primers so I'd happily fork out to try this out.
Embroyloisse Gold Cream
Hailed the miracle from many a celeb this stuff is now available from Boots - I've heard alot of goo things about it and have gone to purchase a couple of times now.... have any of you tried it?
Fleur De Force The Glam Guide
Out of all the youtubers out there Fleur is one that I have been watching constantly for years now. She seems genuine, clever and has a real gift for what she does! I feel like this book would be right up my street - it seems mature and full of useful tips and information. I think I'll be popping this in my amazing basket on payday!
Zoeva Rose Golden Eyeshadow Palette
What can I say? This is beautiful and I want it.
Neal & Wolf SILK Blow-dry Lotion
I've been using a few products from this brands for months now and I'm kind of obsessed with the scent - I would really love to try out some more from them and this is definitely the next one on my wishlist.
EOS Summer Fruits
I cannot get enough of the 2 I already own and summer fruits sounds like a lovely scent to have for the upcoming spring months!
Whats on your wishlist right now?

Kirstie's 2014 Favourites
Happy New Year one and all! I hope you all had a lovely time what ever you did to ring the new year in!
Looking back over the last year I definitely tried out my fair share of products! (alot of them at that!)
It's 2015 and I am seriously looking forward to the next 12 months aren't you?
Looking back over the last year I definitely tried out my fair share of products! (alot of them at that!)
Hair, skin, make-up.... the list is pretty much endless and with them there has been some obvious stand outs that have been used over and over again and in some cases even repurchased!
So instead of doing a December favourites I thought I would give you my 2014 favourites - with a few added non-beauty related things too!
Vera Wang Princess Perfume
I bought this when I was on my way to Florida, I've wanted it for so long and decided to treat myself! I love it and now the scent reminds me of Disneyworld - amazing right?
Maxfactor Masterpiece Max Mascara
This year I have fallen totally back in love with this mascara! It is hands down my favourite mascara ever!
MAC Rebel Lipstick
Probably my most worn lipstick this year! I love this shade so much!
Seventeen Phwoarr Paint Concealer
The best concealer everrrrrr. This keeps my bags at bay, I have literally been through about 6 already!
thebalm Bahama Mama Bronzer
You may have seen my review on this a few weeks ago! This has become my everyday bronzer to contour with, it is a matte beauty!
Wicked
Most of you probably know already I am obsessed with Wicked, and this year me and my mummy finally got to see it after years and years of waiting! IT was everything I dreamt of and more - totally incredible, I porbably listen to the soundtrack everyday!
Folli Follie Rose Gold Watch
This was sent to me back in the summer and I have literally worn it every single day since! I honestly think I would be lost without a watch now.
Taylor Swift - 1989
My girl bought out her new album and as per it is totally and utterly perfect! I cannot fault Taylor or 1989 AND I am going to see her again in June, I am SOOOO excited I could cry!
Neal & Wolf Elevate Voluminsing Lotion & Guard Heat Protect Spray
This brand is definitely one of the best finds of the year! The two products I have from them have become firm favs and I cannot wait to try out more of the range this year!
Aveeno Skin Relief Lotion
I first bought this as I had seen a review by another blogger saying how well it had worked for them, and you know... if a blogger likes it - I want it! This is worked so so well on my dry skin, especially the bad patches I get on my shins, I wouldn't use anything else on it now!

Neal & Wolf : Elevate Volumising Lotion & Guard Heat Protection Review
Settle down and get ready for a review beaming with compliments and excitement for these 2 products!
I do talk ALOT about stuff I'm loving and how great things are but I can hands down say these are some of the best haircare products I have used for years!
I do talk ALOT about stuff I'm loving and how great things are but I can hands down say these are some of the best haircare products I have used for years!
Neal & Wolf are a company that I hadn't even heard of until recently (where on earth have I been?) A professional range including both haircare and hair styling products, these are said to be the ultimate combination of clever science and perfect glamour.
The products I have been using for the last few weeks are the Elevate Volumising Lotion and the Guard Heat Protection. Before I say anything about these two I just have to say... they smell incredible - like you're sat in a salon, I'm so so happy I've found them!
Neal & Wolf Elevate Volumising Lotion* & Guard Heat Protection*
Elevate is a volumising lotion which helps you to "wave goodbye to drap, limp locks" and give your hair a fabulous bit of oomph, creating a thick and healthy look!
I haven't used alot of products like this before, I normally stick to wash out volumising products like shampoo and conditioners!
I was a bit dubious at first, I didn't want to clog my hair up with endless products and have it feeling sticky and well... pants BUT ..... there was NO need for me to feel this way!
You pop this lovely gel like conditioning lotion onto damp, towel dry hair and work in through the mid-lengths to ends (I whacked a bit near the roots aswell... because I am crrrrazy!)
I cannot explain how amazing this made my hair feel, it is just like a leave in conditioner (but thicker) - the first time I used it I literally couldn't stop running my fingers through my hair!
For the full effect you're meant to then use a hairdryer and a nice big brush to get the extent of the fab volumising power.
I've done this a couple of times and it works a charm but most of the time I'm in a rush for work so I let my hair dry naturally and I still feel like it works great!
My hair has felt so soft, less frizzy and when putting my hair up and styling it I've definitely noticed that it is looking and feeling alot thicker and fuller.
Elevate is £12.50 and I will be 100% repurchasing when I have run out of this bottle.
Throwing it out there - this is my favourite hair product at the moment.
Next we have Guard - a heat protection spray.
Again this has the amazing Neal & Wolf signature scent which I have become slightly addicted too - I swear I've smelt it somewhere before but no idea where!
This is a lovely lightweight mist which I have been using on both wet hair before I dry it and dry hair before styling.
Guard protects agaisnt heat up to 22o°c and as has a special film-foring polymer which "guards" (ence the name) the hair cuticles from lossing moisture during the styling process.
Alot of the time my hair can feel brittle and dry after straightening, curling or blow-drying but Guard has really made a difference, my locks still feels soft after styling which makes me feel less guilty about using heat on my hair (we all know I don't do it that often, once or twice a week) and having a healthy shine is always a winner too!
Guard is £11.50 for 150ml and usage would obviously depend on how much you use heat on your locks, for me this will last a good long while as I'm not an over-user of tools!
Both these products are sulphate and paraben free - something which hadn't really bothered me before but I have recently taken a big interest in and my hair is feeling great!
Yes this has been a glowing review but these products, in my opinion, are absolutely fantastic, I am so so grateful and happy that they've been bought into my life - I need the rest of the range asap!
