Tanya Burr Soft Luxe Collection - Birthday Suit Eyeshadow Palette

It has been a while since I bought new make-up.... I know hard to believe isn't it! But since moving away from the retail world and into office land I've found it a lot easier to avoid those new releases and offers.... mainly because I'm no longer the one putting them out and seeing them first!

Nevertheless there's always going to be something that catches my eye and this month it just happened to be a couple of bits from the new Tanya Burr range.

Now, I hadn't actually tried anything from Tanya Burr before, this was a first, but I've heard good things and when this new collection was released Feel Unique had put them on offer (I'm not sure if this was a mistake or not) - so I got them for a bargain prize!

I ordered 2 products from the new Soft Luxe Collection and first up, I'm going to talk about the Birthday Suit Eyeshadow Palette.
Marzipan - Toast - Cocoa Sugar - Soft Truffle

I'm a sucker for nudes and neutrals - so this palette was a no-brainer!
In gorgeous rose gold packaging this eyeshadow quad is the perfect palette for creating both a soft and a smokey eye, day - to - night sorted!
The palette comes with a cute built in heart shaped mirror and a fab 'tips' section on the back to help you work out what shade to put where. (Fab if you're not an eyeshadow expert or everyday user.)

I love that there's a mix of both shimmery shades and mattes - great for blending and again swapping your look up for something a little more glam. (Personally I love a good shimmer but know not everyone is as keen.)
I'm LOVING Marzipan for my brow bone and inner corner right now, such a pretty pearly shade!

For £6 you can't really go wrong - great for taking away and if you're looking for an easy palette for everyday use, this is a steal!

4 Fab Drugstore Nudes

The nude lip is something which has, among other things, taken the beauty world by storm over the last 6 months.... did you notice?
With Kylie Jenner being the role models we all look up to ... obvs, subtle nudes/browns and awesome lipliners have been flying off the shelves!
90s nudes were something I thought I would never see me rocking but with a few practice go's I've decided I love the look and alongside my favourite MAC baby Velvet Teddy I've invested in some newbies and dug out some old classics! Here's 4 of my favs!
Left to right :

Bourjois Velvet Rouge Edition - Nude-ist
I love this gorgeous matte colour! Compared to the others it looks more pinky/red but on the lips it is a gorgeous dark nude colour. These bourjois liquid lipsticks stay on SO well, for hours and hours without any re-application! If you looking for a product with great stay-time this collection is brilliant.

Maybelinne Colour Drama - Nude Perfection
This is currently my newest lip product I've bought. I have been looking at it for MONTHS now and at only £4.99 I have no idea why I haven't picked it up sooner. I have to say out of the 4 this is probably my favourite for quality and colour. It's a little darker than velvet teddy but if you're looking for a cheap alternative for a good new - this is the one.

Barry M Lipgloss - Toffee
The classic now.... I could not tell you how many of these I've been through since I was a teenager. This used to be my everyday lip colour, I was obsessed and probably applied it 90 times a day! It smells amazing too, it's about time I bought a new one. It's perfect to use of the top of Nude Perfection aswell.

Rimmel Apocalips - Nude Eclipse
The lightest of the four now. This one, for me, is definitely one to wear with a lipliner underneath. I think without it, it's slightly too light for my colouring but with it makes a gorgeous everyday colour! I love the rimmel apocalips and basically own them all, the best cheap liquid lipstick, they last and have an awesome range of colours!

Make-Up Revolution I ♥ Makeup I ♥ Obsession Palettes : Born To Die & West End Girls

More palettes?!
Yes MUR have yet again released even more fabulous eyeshadow palettes! (I am now seriously struggling to pick one each time I want to do my make-up!)

This brand new collection is LIMITED EDITION and are priced at only £3.99 each so if you want one you need to move your butt (fingers) quick!
There are 5 palettes in the I ♥ Obsession range each made up of 10 individual shades with a mixture of shimmers and mattes.
The palettes in the collection are.... Born To Die, Pure Cult, Paris, West End Girls & Wild Is The Wind and I have two of these to show you today!
Born To Die is a smokey nude palette. Gorgeous browns/creams to help created a fabulous neutral smokey eye - perfect for everyday wear.
This is made up of both shimmer and matte shades, which is great for me as I do like to use both! I love the details on each shade, the writing and the embossing - it's little things like that that make MUR products look so much more expensive than they actually are!

 6 Top Shimmer Shades
(Wow I'm such an amazing blogger than I can't count to six.... I've missed out a damn colour what a fool!!! Looks like it's the 5th shade along..... I'm sorry guys)
4 Bottom Matte Shades
When I first opened this palette up I thought.... oooo could I pull those shades off? But once I swatched these colours up my arm I fell in love! This palette is perfect for a glamorous out night and I can't wait to have a play around with it!
Purple is meant to bring out green eyes so I think that 3rd shade in is going to get alot of use plus the 4 bottom shades will be great for the brow bone and tear ducts!

For only £3.99 these palettes are total and utter steal, thank you Make-up Rev for another outstanding collection!
