The 6 Best Things About Shopping Online

I do alot of my shopping online. Like, alot.
Living in a place where my options are seriously limited I have learnt from a young age that the internet is the greatest place to have a good browse and spend up!
So I thought I'd put together some of my favourite things about shopping online.

1. Options - SO Many Options
I live on the Isle Of Wight so when I say my options are limited..... I am NOT kidding! I have to get a boat if I even want to pop to Primark which is a bit of an effort (and expensive) when you just want some cute pjs and cheap shoes.
I'd say 90% of the clothing I buy is from online, same goes for alot of my make-up too - I can browse any store I want and find everything I cannot get hold of here in my home town.

2. Comfort
This has got to be everyone's favourite perk of online shopping. You can do it from the very comfort of your own home.
Yes I am one of those girls who sits braless on my sofa drinking tea and flicking through 500 pages of the ASOS sale! I've even been known to order things whilst walking to work.... the joys of 3G eh?!
Better than carrying a million shopping bags and being stuck behind slow walkers right?

3. Voucher Codes = God Send
One of my ultimate number one tip-top tips for the internet. Always search for a voucher code before purchasing anything.
I literally don't buy anything without quickly seeing if I can save money on it before hand. The amount of money I have saved over the years from doing this is insane - I don't understand people who don't do it!
In what shop can you walk up to the counter, go to purchase something and before popping your card in ask... 'can I save money on this?' NONE!
Voucher Bin -  http://www.voucherbin.co.uk is awesome for this - even if it's just 10% off or free postage, it all helps!  Just search the site you're shopping on or want to shop on in the search bar and all the current codes will come up for you!
You can also look through categories, of my favourite to look in is Health & Beauty (obviously), if I'm after a certain product I like to shop around for the best code and then buy it from that particular site, such an easy way to save money on something you were going to buy anyway, make sure you check it out!

4. Individuality/Personal Style
Being on a tiny island it's not uncommon to see people with alot of the same stuff. Nowadays, yes, it's alot less than when I was younger as so many people do use the web but with only one decent fashion store in my town I see ALOT of people wearing the same popular garment/ensemble.
The internet is an amazing place to find bits that no-one else will, there are so many sites (especially for fashion) it's so much easier to rock your own style and buy things (hopefully) others won't.

5. Bargains - the endless amount of bargains!
Where else are you going to find a top for £2 or a dress that used to be £45 down to £7? I LOVE bargains and I basically live on the sale section of websites!
All that good topshop sale stuff is NEVER in store, so having the website there to browse through is amazeballs right? (Until it's sold out but you don't find that out until you click on it.... damn you!)
eBay, ASOS, Brandalley - you can get some serious savings all from a few clicks of a mouse!

6. Who doesn't love getting post?
Last but not least ..... post!
Getting that parcel you've been waiting for pop through your letterbox is the best right? As long as it comes on time! (*cough*ASOS Premier looking at you *cough*)
Yes sometimes we may have to send things back if they don't fit but most places now do free returns (I HATE places that don't offer that!).
But for thing like make-up and other beauty products I cannot explain my excitement when they arrive!

What are your favourite things about shopping online!?

Bargain Of The Week : Katy Perry Killer Queen 100ml

Sometimes I find a bargain so good that I feel the need to tell the world and this week I have one of those incredible bargains!
Yes, I managed to get a total and utter steal so treated myself to a new everyday perfume.
Retailing normally for £38.50 this 100ml of Killer Queen is down to just £14.99 at Boots (plus I got a bit of cheeky discount so it worked out at only £13.18 overall - how insane is that!?)

This scent is perfect for both daytimes and evenings alike, it's a fun and playful scent whilst having a hint of maturity about it too!
The bottle is gorgeous, I love it's individual shape and I'm so chuffed to have a 100ml in my life - most of my perfumes are either 30ml or 50ml so I feel like I need to be careful with the amount I'm spritzing, whereas this is huge and for the price I paid I could use it as air freshener for all I care! LOVE love love it!
(Plus I'm off to see Katy Perry for the fifth time this week so what perfect timing!!!)

Have you found any bargains this week that you want to share?

The Body Shop Haul

So just before Christmas The Body Shop had a crazy good deal on on their website.
I'm not kidding this offer was the stuff of dreams .... 50% off everything and free delivery over £5 - no-one could possibly say no!
The Body Shop is a place I haven't shopped at in years! Even though I love the products and know how fab the quality is, it is just a shop I never run to first... although after this little shopping spree I think that is going to change!
Now the first thing I think everyone falls in love with at The Body Shop is the body butters and I think my love for body butters started with The Body Shop. So of course that was the first section of the website I headed to. Shea is one of my favourite scents for body products so of course this was a must! This stuff smells incredible and melts straight into the skin, body butter heaven.
If you've read my blog before then you know I'm all about smells ... so when I saw the "ginger sparkle" Christmas range I had to pick at least one thing up! This is a yummy shower gel which smells delicious, I cannot wait to start using it and it being a 250ml bottle I'm sure this will last a good while!
Vitamin E is a classic, smells great and works great so at half price I thought I'd grab some. This stuff is great as a night cream, I apply this after my hydraluron for fabulously hydrated skin by morning!
I couldn't do a sale shop without getting make-up could I! This is one of the new Colour Crush lipsticks from The Body Shop! Half price this badboy was only £5 and this lipstick is such great quality! A great colour which lasts with a super moisturising feel - well done Body Shop I'll be buying more!
Not only are these soaps really pretty but they smell great too and were only just over £1 each! The ginger smells just like the shower gel I bought, this is going to go straight into my bathroom!
Lip balms are something I cannot live without at this time of year and with the cute packaging and tiny price tag I decided one wasn't enough. Strawberry & Plum are the two I picked up and they both smell lovely! These are great for chucking in my handbag or coat pocket and keeping dry, chapped lips at bay!
Last but no means least is a mask. I love picking up things like this to check out and give myself a little pamper. This is a Vitamin E moisture mask and I thought it would be great to try out with the weather being so awful and miserable these past few weeks I think my skin needs a good moisture treatment!

So there we have it, my first Body Shop haul (and it only came to about £15!)....  I have totally fallen back in love with this brand - no doubt you'll be seeing alot more of it on here soon!

Boots Half Price Sale Haul Part 2

Here it is - part 2 of 3 of my Boots sale haul! If you haven't already seen part 1 then check it out - here.
If you also want to see any separate posts of individual products in more detail then let me know - that way when I've tried them out and have an opinion I know I won't be boring you with them!
The haul continues....

Soap & Glory Facetime
WAS £25 NOW £12.50
Hello bargain central once again! I am such a Soap & Glory fan and after only using a couple of their skincare products I thought this would be a perfect excuse to try some more! A set of 4 different products which are actually worth the original  £25 price tag if bought individually - so I saved myself a pretty penny here! It comes with the Puffy Eye Attack Turbo-Boost Hydragel, the Smooth Operator Lip Butter Balm, the Off Your Face Cleansing Wipes and the Feel Good Factor Translucent BB Cream (a fab primer/base).

Boots Extracts Body Butter Collection
WAS £8 NOW £4
Body Butters - you can't have enough of them! Not long until it will be summer and I'll be slapping these on left, right and centre! The 4 scents you get in this set are Cranberry, Coconut, Mngo & Cocoa Butter! Bring on the magical smells!

FCUK Eyeshadow Palette
WAS £12 NOW £6
A bit of make-up - horaay!! This caught my eye due to the range of colours! A gorgeous 15 shade palette from FCUK which I have swatched and it looks fab! I'm definitely going to try out some more daring looks in the upcoming future with this badboy! For only £6 - it's a steal!

Vintage Collection Photo Frame
WAS £8 NOW £4
I love buying bits for my flat and this cute little photo frame was a must-have! I'm thinking of putting it on my kitchen window sill , it will go perfectly in there... now who to put in it?!

Umberto Giannini Curl Friends Curl Define Hair Kit
WAS £10  NOW £5
I actually mainly bought this for the section separating grips included! I'm always struggling when I'm tying to curl my hair in different sections so these are going to be majorly helpful! I cannot wait to try the smooth curls shampoo and conditioner too and the scrunching jelly that I have heard so much about!

Soap & Glory Washful Thinking
WAS £10 NOW £5
Something I buy anyway so why wouldn't I buy this? I normally pay £5 for the hand wash and £7 for the hand food for my bathroom so this is a ridiculously great saving! My favourite head cream ever and they both smell lovley!

Okay so that is Part 2 over - look out for Part 3 where I will be sharing the last 5 items from my Boots sale shop!
