theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer

There's a new bronzer in my life and I'm in love.

I've talked about a few things from this brand lately and I am yet to find a product from them that I am disappointed with.

theBalm has indeed lived up to it's incredible reputation for me and their products really are as good in quality as they are in their packaging and names.
Today I am talking about Bahama Mama - a gorgeous bronzer fantastic for contouring and giving your skin a healthy glow!
After using my Sleek contour palette day in-day out for over a year and being totally in love with it, trying something new wasn't really on my to-do list!
So when the lovely people at theBalm sent me over this I wasn't sure whether it would live up to my high expectations of that drugstore bargain!

But after trying it out alongside the Mary Lou Manizer (review and photos here) as a contour and highlight, my sleek kit was quickly chucked to the back of my make-up bag and happily replaced by this duo from thebalm.
I sweep this in the number 3 shape from my chin up towards my forehead and after highlighting blend together with a large powder brush.
I love the subtle contour it gives and the fact it is a matte finish is even better, it seems like more and more matte bronzers are becoming available thank goodness.

The bronzer comes in a gorgeous little compact, complete with mirror - which is very handy if you're on the go!

Bahama Mama is £13.50 and is available at ASOS and Superdrug.
BIG, big love for this bronzer - it has made it's way into my everyday make-up routine and I can't see it leaving anytime soon!

TV Shows That Made My Childhood

Recently with a certain 90s pop band reforming on Children In Need I was having a think about a certain TV show *cough*Miami 7*cough* from my childhood and suddenly a whole list of TV shows which I grew up with filled my mind!
Shows that I would run home from school so I wouldn't miss, stay up way too late on a school night to watch and WISH that I was in!

Most of these probably were on our screens between 1997-2003ish and most of them are kids shows but there are a few other classics thrown in there too!
Let me know in the comments below which ones you watched too - I was obsessed with all of these!

1. Maid Marion And Her Merry Men - The best kids show of the 90s in my opinion, hilarious with some great songs! #pancakeday
2. Aquila - 2 boys find a invisible spaceship, one of them gets a reptile hand... ring a bell?
3. Jeopardy - This actually used to scare me! Scottish kids getting abducted by aliens in the outback and nothing making sense!
4. The Queen's Nose - Probably my first TV obsession... I called my hamster Monty just because Harmony did and who can forget Uncle Ginger?
5. Byker Grove - Soooo much better than Grange Hill, I always used to want a geordie accent!
6. Sister Sister - 'never knew how much I missed ya!'
7. Kenan & Kel - WHOOOOO loves orange soda? and who put the screw in the tuna?
8. Sabrina The Teenage Witch - Every girl wanted the power to change her outfit instantly!
9. Student Bodies - A mix between a high school drama and a cartoon - I loved this show about kids writing the school newpaper!
10. The Generation Game - A CUDDLY TOY!
11. Gladiators - Who didn't love this on a Saturday night, Wolf was always my favourite!
12. Blind Date - I'm sure as a kid I didn't get any of the innuendo's but I bloddy loved Cilla and her match-making skills!
13. Baywatch - Drama on a beach, can't go wrong with a bit of lifeguarding action!
14. The Moment Of Truth - Another Cilla show where a member of a family had to perform a certain skill in order to win prizes for the whole family, I loved this!
15. Albert The Fifth Musketeer - This cartoon used to crack me up I loved the song!
16. Bad Girls - The best prison drama ever (although I do love OITNB), this show was awesome!
17. Footballers Wives - Obsessed didn't explain it - this show was EVERYONE'S favourite, I'll never forget the ridiculous storylines! And you can watch them on youtube -perfect!
18. Noel's House Party - Mr. Blobby and gang always had the best Saturday nights!
19. Changing Rooms - is it bad that I used to love it when the people hated their new room?!
20. Home On Their Own - The kids version of changing rooms, siblings that turned their kitchen's into burger bars and their bedrooms into jungles, I always always soso jealous!
21. Fun House - If you have't seen this then get on youtube now, they don't make kids shows like this anymore!
22. The Crystal Maze - This was always so stressful to watch!
23. Robot Wars - Yes I'm a huge tomboy but I LOVED this show!
24.  Ocean Odyssey - Do anyone of you remember this? An underwater community and a girl who lived on an island on her own and swam and talked to whales?
25. The Demon Headmaster - Brilliant and terrifying, I will never forget watching these for the first time!
26. The Ghost Hunter - That cute little cockney shoe shine boy and the crazy old lady who trapped ghosts in glass jars!
27. 50/50 - Everyone wanted their school to go on this show!
28. Clarissa Explains It All - The first proper American teen show I started watching.
29. Miami 7/Hollywood 7/ LA 7- The birth of S Club 7 and my love for them. REACH.
30. Little House On The Prairie - An old classic, I used to love watching this with my Mum.
31. Animorphs - Remember the kids that could turn into animals? And th creepy slug things that crawled into people's ears... I think this is where my fear of leeches comes from!
32. Through The Dragons Eye - For years I didn't know what this was called and always tried to explain it to people! The weirdest education programme ever - that bad crow man Charn was terrifying! This was totally brilliant, probably the first show I actually remember, it first came out the year before I was born! (check it out here)
33. Noah's Ark - The polar bear and all his mates!
34. Live & Kicking - I definitely called into this show more than once.
35. Recess - One word - SCANDALOUS.
36. The Animals Of Farthing Wood - 90s kids will all know this one.
37. Eerie Indiana - This was a strange strange show but I remember really enjoying it!
38. So Little Time - Mary-Kate or Ashley, I just wanted to be one of them!
39. Bodger And Badger - MASHED POTATO.
40. The Secret World Of Alex Mack - Basically it was Bianca from 10 Things I HAte About You after a werid chemical thing.
41. The Worst Witch - Mildred Hubble and Nancy from Hollyoaks getting into trouble constantly.
42. Popstars The Rivals - Those younguns nowadays don't understand where Cheryl came from... I was totally and utterly hooked by this show - Nicola Roberts was my favourite! Girls Aloud for life! and who can forget THIS moment.
43. The New Adventures Of Superman - BBC2 totally rocked when this was on after Neighbours had finished on BBC1. Everyones favourite evening show in the 90s!
44. Dawson's Creek - Watching teenage drama that I was sometimes to young to understand was my fav hobby.

5 Happy Photos Tag

I've seen alot of people doing this sort of thing on facebook recently and a few people had put me to do it so I thought it would make a great little blog post and I'd start it up as a tag on here (I'm sorry if anyone has already started this but I haven't seen it yet soooo I'm going for it!)
All you do is share 5 photos which make you happy... it's as easy as that (and it doesn't even have to be 5, it can be 100 for all you like!) - anyone can join in and it can be photos of anything, I mean your pets, your friends, the beach, even those photos of Kim K!
Here's mine.......
1. A Bundle Of Babes
This photo was taken in Zante back in September 2012! Me and my friends tend to get a little over excited when we are together and thought it was a fabulous idea to attempt a human pyramid on the middle of the dance floor.... I mean - why not? As you can see we didn't get very far - I love how happy we all look here, loving life!
2. Best Friends In The Happiest Place On Earth
This photo was taken on the first day I ever went to the Magic Kingdom in Orlando. Going to Disneyworld had always been a dream of mine - literally on the top of bucket list so to be able to go with my best friend on our trip of a lifetime was just incredible!
This photo was actually taken by accident we were trying to get a nice one of us smiling down Main Street and it just so happened we had turned round at the same time as this snap was taken! It always makes me happy, I'm so grateful that I was able to go back here this year aswell, it's my happy place!
3. Hulk Smash
Another Florida photo but this time with the boyf!
I always wanted to go on the Hulk ride at Universal but the first time I went I ever got the chance so this year when we went I knew it was one of the first things I wanted to do! We went on this rid so many times and I find this photo hilarious!
I asked Joe to hold onto my sunglasses while we were on it and when we went to see the photo I saw this hahaha!
This photo reminds me of our holiday and how much fun we had at Universal - I wish I could go back!
4. Rock Challenge Memories
Rock Challenge/Global Rock was a HUGE part of my life between 2003-2008! They are the best teenage memories I have, I literally couldn't imagine high school without it! Dancing with your best friends for fun and creating dances and performances that won competitions both in this country and in Europe - this experience was incredible!
There were so many photos I got of chosen, this one is from 2004 when I was just 14 at the southern final in Bournemouth.
5. Swiftie For Life
Everyone knows I'm a massive Taylor Swift fan and I was lucky enough to go to The Red Tour at the O2 the week of my birthday this year! We were in the standing pits at the front which was insane - we were so close and I had the best night! This is one of the photos I took on my phone, I love that girl!
I tag you all to join in! It's nice having a look through old photos, reminisce and having a good smile! (Plus I'm super nosey haha!)

Vivaboxes 2014

Okay, so are you ready to see and hear all about a genius gift idea that I have been lucky enough to have a little lookie at recently? Yes? Then settle down and get comfortable...........
Have you ever wanted to buy that special someone in your life a lovely new fragrance for Christmas but for the life of you have no idea what sort of scent they would like? You don't want to splash out on something that may end up sat in a cupboard for years?
Well.... THIS is the thing for you!
Vivabox is a fabulous idea which is the perfect solution to all those presents worries for both the men and women in your life!
Try it, Choose it, Love it!
Each box is full of a fabulous aray of 7 testers for the recipient to test and try out before picking out their favourite.

Once they've decided which fragrance is for them all they have to do is take their voucher which is found inside the box to their nearest Perfume Shop and they can exchange it for one of the full size products!

All the scents choosen are really different from each other so there is definitely going to be something for everyone for sure!
Here's a little more about what you'll find in both boxes.....

Obviously I was super excited to delve straight into this! I am a big perfume person and I am always on the look out for more. I'm not one of these people that has a signature scent - as much as I wish I was! I'm always chopping and changing to my mood and the occasion, but there's nothing wrong with that!
What samples will I find in the ladies Vivabox?
Hugo Boss - Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme EDP 1.5ml sample (Full Size - 30ml)
Carolina Herrea - 212 VIP EDP 1.5ml sample (Full Size - 30ml)
Nina Ricci - Nina EDT 1.5ml sample (Full Size - 50ml)
Paco Rabanne - Black XS EDT 1.2ml sample (Full Size - 50ml)
Juicy Couture - Viva La Juicy EDP 1.5ml sample (Full Size - 30ml)
Kenzo - Flower By Kenzo 1ml sample (Full Size - 50ml)

Well the boyf was impressed with this one! I have bought a few fragrances for him over the years and 9 times out of 10 I think I've got it right and he's liked it but this is a great way for him to be able to choose something for himself without having to drag him to a shop to spray a million different testers!
What samples will I find in the men's Vivabox?
Hugo Boss - Boss Bottled EDT 2ml sample (Full Size - 50ml)
Paco Rabanne - 1 Million EDT 1.5ml sample (Full Size - 50ml)
Paco Rabanne - Invictus EDT 1.5ml sample (Full Size - 50ml)
Montblanc - Montblanc Legend EDT 1.2ml (Full Size - 50ml)
Carolina Herrera - 212 VIP Men EDT 1.5ml sample (Full Size - 50ml)
Paco Rabanne - Black XS EDT 1.2ml (Full Size - 50ml)
Issey Miyake - L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme EDT 1.2ml (Full Size 75ml)
Overall I am so so impressed with this idea from the people at Vivabox and I really can't fault it!
A gift you buy but they choose - a win-win situation all round! The only problem for me is that the nearest Perfume Shop to me is a boat journey away but I'm sure most of you guys aren't far from one at all!

Have you seen these before? What fragrance would you pick?

Flamingo Gifts : Presents For Everyone

Living on an island the internet is my port of call 90% of the time when it comes to shopping and especially when it comes to buying gifts for people!
I am seriously limited with the shops in my home town so the more quirky and random websites I can find to order things from the better!
Flamingo Gifts is a new site in my life and it's one of those websites which I went on and just instantly fell in love with everything they sold!
This is the sort of store I live for, I love searching through all the different category's and seeing all the different quirky products - I can literally spend hours browsing!

The lovely people at Flamingo recently sent me a few products which had caught my eye on the site and I have been overwhelmed by the awesomeness!

Firstly are these two candles from Flamingo Candles. Now... I think the names are just a coincidence and they are 2 totally separate companies - please correct me if I'm wrong people! I already own a Flamingo Candle
The cream coloured candle is one of the Aromatherapy candles in the range and is the Relaxing scent. This is a lovely blend of lavender and  ylang ylang is something I would have hated when I was younger but as an adult I find it so calming and totally perfect for an evening in reading a book and de-stressing my mind! This one is £11.90.
The pink candle is Pink Lemonade (makes sense right?) and my new favourite! If you love sweet scents this is for you, the scent is so strong and fills the room in minutes! A mix of strawberries, lemon juice and champange this sugary fruity scent is perfect for my sweet tooth- plus this one is just £10.20!
Not only do these candles smell nice they also look lovely!

How cute is this mug!? I love Roald Dahl stories and this mug collection is adorable!
Matilda is one of my favourite childhood movies so this one really stuck out to me! Mugs make amazing presents - who doesn't like a nice hot drink, especially at this time of year!

As well as quirky household items Flamingo Gifts also has a few fashion items - bags, wallets, scarves etc! I fell in love with this cute pug print scarf as soon as I saw it! There are loads of awesome designs on there, sometimes it's nice to have something to wear that isn't from the highstreet!
And lastly we have my new favourite thing! Did someone say a heatable Gromit? Yup that's right! Cuter and a bit more fun than a hot water bottle plus it smells super relaxing too! Just pop it in the microwave and enjoy the warm hug - perfect for all ages!
I highly recommend you head over to Flamingo Gifts and have a little look - I can guarantee you'll fall in love and spend your morning, afternoon or evening browsing the endless pages of gifts making a mental wishlist for both yourself and your friends and family!
