Rosie For Autograph Eyeshadow Palette - I Feel Like A Million Dollars

The internet chit-chatter has sold me once more.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is a total babe - there is no denying it and unlike some other 'celeb' ranges and fragrances I feel like Rosie's stuff has always had that a bit of glam behind it that others are certainly lacking.
I own a dressing gown from her Autograph collection and it is by far the softest and most luxury dressing gown everrrrr.
So as soon as I saw she had a make-up collection out I was all over it, I wanted it all and didn't care how much it cost.
I was at a Marks & Spencer's this past weekend so of course I made it my mission to hunt it down and have a look at it all in it's natural glory.

As expected this eyeshadow quad firmly stuck out to me and there was no question about it - I was buying it.

First up let's talk about the packaging. Simple, gorgeous, chic - I LOVE the coppery/gold compact *heart eyes all around*.

The shades are all shimmer based neutrals which is what I wear more or less every single time I want to wear eyeshadow - it's like it was made for me. Plus the name 'I Feel Like A Million Dollars' just really says it all.
Ranging from a creamy ivory to a deep chocolate brown I feel like this quad is literally all I need now for creating my go-to smokey eye look when I'm out and about!

The pigmentation is amazing and the quality really is of a high standard, they are velvety soft and a dream to work with, easy to blend and build and really long-lasting!

Plus it is all hypoallergenic and in no way tested on animals! (which I know will please alot of you :)

These palettes are priced £18 and there are currently 4 to choose from! Find them online - here - or in your local M&S store!

Freedom Makeup London : House Of Glamdolls Exotica Doll Look

It's been a while since I featured a palette here so what better a time to share this new beauty with you all.

Freedom Makeup are a fairly new brand on the block... but if you use the internet I'm sure you've spotted them or come across them by now.
They already have a huge range of products including professional kits and brushes aswell as the usual make-up top picks.
House Of Glamdolls is a collection of 4 fabulous palettes full of gorgeous shades for lips, cheeks and eyes.

The Exotica Doll palette is a gorgeous mix of neutral easy-to-wear shades and funky pops of colour.
Inspired by tropical holidays and exotic destinations (waaa take me there) this palette of shades helps you to create your inner sultry beach babe.
I love the fact it has everything from cheeks to lips to eyebrows - it's a winner if you're going away for the night I tell ya!
The shimmery eyes shades are just gorgeous, a great range and the palette comes with a handy mirror too - which for the price of just £8 is a steal!

Freedom Makeup are definitely one to watch - head over to their website and have a look through, their range is bloomin' awesome and so affordable!

Make-Up Revolution Mermaids Forever Eyeshadow Palette Review

Over the last year I have tried my fair few palettes from Make-Up Revolution and have always been impressed and satisfied with the quality, especially for their small (and down right crazy) prices!

So when this new palette popped through my letterbox I was looking forward to seeing what the gang at MUR had come up with now.
With the name "Mermaids Forever" and the shiny blue boxing I expecting some blue, shimmery shades but what I actually got was that and so, so much more!
Make-Up Revolution Mermaids Forever Eyeshadow Palette*

With 32 shades this palette has ALL your colour needs in one handy place. From light nudes to bright fierce emerald greens - this really has something for everyone which is why I've decided it's got to be my favourite palette from MUR so far. It even has a mirror on the inside, another brilliant extra for the price you pay!

I'll admit a few of the lighter shades aren't as pigmented as I would like but the brighter shimmer shades totally make up for this - the quality is insane.
The only other thing I would say is that I would love this even more if the palette itself was a gorgeous blue 'sea themed' colour.
The box it comes in is a lovely metallic blue but the compact itself is the same as all their other palettes, plain black.
This makes it hard to stand out when sat with the rest of them but at the same time it is understandable as the price you are paying isn't alot so I'm sure they'd rather save money on packaging and put more money into the actually products.

I've swatched all the colours below - I've done 2 vertical lines at the time.
Nudes & Coppers - Bottom to Top :
Forever | Seashell | Enchant | Future
Bay | Creature | Starfish | Ariel

(you see what I mean about the lighter nudes?)
Pinks & Purples - Bottom To Top :
Myth | Magic | Pretty | Pink Sea
Song | Urchin | Princess | Ocean

I am obsessed with pretty and pink sea, the pigmentation is amazing, this is just after one sweep of colour. These are great colours for if you are trying to venture of of the standard neutral shades but don't want anything too drastic.
Blues & Greens - Bottom to Top :
Mermaids | Sea | Waves | Splash
Fishtail | Land | Turtle | Undersea
Earth & Smokey - Bottom to Top :
Treasure | Kingdom | Mineral | Seabed
Imagine | Harmony | Prince | Whale

These are the sort of colours I'm so used to using and playing around with, I'm looking forward to trying out some of the brighter colours alongside them though - I need to get out of my neutral comfort zone, espically this season.

How adorable are all the names too? I'm so glad that MUR added this feature - there's nothing worst than a beautiful shade with no name, the names almost make them prettier you know?

At only £8 Mermaids Forever is pretty much a no-brainer - 32 amazing shades to keep you going all summer long... you can find it HERE on the official website.

Cohorted Beauty Box - Worth The Hype?

Beauty boxes dropped into our life over 5 years ago and with the amount of different versions on the market now it's hard to know which ones to sign upto... if any at all!

When they first came out in the UK I was super excited but after being signed up to a certain box for months and months I kind of gave up as I was fed up with crappy little samples that I had sat in a drawer that I wasn't really interested in.
Since then, I'll be honest, I haven't really thought much of them, that experience kind of put me off.

So when Cohorted contacted me I was a little weary but I was definitely curious after seeing their website and other bloggers reviews of them. The products seem full sized alot of the time and all the brands were ones I'd heard of and ones I longed to try or buy more of. Plus this isn't a subscription service like most of the other beauty boxes out there, you can just pick and choose which months you pre-order/order which is great if you have a month or two where £19.99 isn't as accessible.
So I agreed to give it a go.
Cohorted Beauty Box - March 2015*
Now.... you may have seen my Twitter meltdown a week or so ago about a certain delivery company posting to the wrong address and the parcel being "lost" (*cough*stolen*cough*) - well that was my original Cohorted box! So another was sent out to me and thankfully I received this one safe and sound but this post is now up a little later than I first expected it to be so I do apologise.

The box I have is the March 2015 box.... and yes I do realise it is nearly May but I'm sure this post will still give you a good gage and idea of what to expect from Cohorted plus my honest thoughts on the service.

This box featured 4 products - 3 full sized and 1 sample sized, already a huge improvement to what I have previously experienced with beauty boxes. (Plus each product is from a well-known brand which I was really impressed with.)
The first thing I received in my box was a product from Too Faced. A brand I have admired from afar for far too long. I only own a couple of products from them but my wishlist is never ending, especially with their eyeshadow palettes and kits.
Anyway... the product I received was an eyeshadow. One of the Exotic Colour Intense Eye Shadow's to be precise. I actually received the shade Poison Orchid which is not the colour stated on the insert card provided. So either than ran out of the stated 'copper peony' or I got the wrong shade! Saying this it was nice to get a bright colour as my current collection of copper shades is pretty big! This colour is gorgeous purple and it is soooo pigmentated! It has a lovely iridescent shine to it and having green eyes purple shades are always a winner.
Next was the onyl sample size in the box, the Perversion Mascara from Urban Decay in the shade black. I don't mind getting samples sizes when they are decent brands and products like this one. Mascara's are something I am quite picky about so it was nice to have a little tester to give something new a go.
This is the perfect mascara to use after my current one. I know that sounds silly, 2 mascaras, but my eyelashes are so short and stumpy that I find using 2 can work wonders for me. I normally use a lengthening mascara with a comb type brush first and then something like this is great for using afterwards, creating bigger and bushier lashes. Top marks for this tester size.
Now for a product that I wasn't entirely sold on. When I spotted this in the box and read the front of the box I thought.... Oh I didn't know bareminerals had creams out. How wrong I was. This is the bareMinerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment. Yes a mineral night treatment, a make-up to put on at night. The treatment is meant to replenish the skin, reduce pores, even skin tone and give an all-round more radiant look all while you are catching your 40 winks.
The colour in the box was 'light' and I guess that's what everyone got - to be honest I don't really see the need to have colours if it's only going to be worn at night? Surely a translucent powder for all complexions would be easier?
For me personally this isn't something I'll carry on using, I like to let my skin have a rest from everything at night I love the feeling of bare face and it definitely helps me sleep better having a face totally free from everything.
I'll probably give this to my Mum to try out as it's an expensive product and I wouldn't want it to go to waste!
Last but not least is a highlighter palette from the wonderful drugstore brand Sleek. I had actually been eyeing up this Precious Metals palette for face and body recently, I'm a big highlighter fan and sleek's contour kit is one of my must-haves so this looked right up my street. With 4 different shades this is a grea addition to any make-up collection. Again, it is another full-sized item from Cohorted which is fab and I know I am going to get ALOT of use out of this.

Overall I am really impressed with this beauty box from Cohorted. Being £19.99 per box I think alot of people may be a little apprehensive about committing to a box unknowing of it's contents but if this is anything to go by then it will be worth it.
Having 3 full sized products has me sold completely and looking through the site and seeing what has previously been in the boxes and sneak peeks of what's to come makes me think that the box is at a well-deserved price point.
I know for a fact I won't be able to afford to commit to purchasing every month (booo to being poor) but I think a treat now and again is a fab way to find new products and try out things I may not fork out the money for normally. So yes is the answer to my question, from what I've seen, the Cohorted Beauty Box is worth the hype.

Make-Up Revolution I ♥ Makeup I ♥ Obsession Palettes : Born To Die & West End Girls

More palettes?!
Yes MUR have yet again released even more fabulous eyeshadow palettes! (I am now seriously struggling to pick one each time I want to do my make-up!)

This brand new collection is LIMITED EDITION and are priced at only £3.99 each so if you want one you need to move your butt (fingers) quick!
There are 5 palettes in the I ♥ Obsession range each made up of 10 individual shades with a mixture of shimmers and mattes.
The palettes in the collection are.... Born To Die, Pure Cult, Paris, West End Girls & Wild Is The Wind and I have two of these to show you today!
Born To Die is a smokey nude palette. Gorgeous browns/creams to help created a fabulous neutral smokey eye - perfect for everyday wear.
This is made up of both shimmer and matte shades, which is great for me as I do like to use both! I love the details on each shade, the writing and the embossing - it's little things like that that make MUR products look so much more expensive than they actually are!

 6 Top Shimmer Shades
(Wow I'm such an amazing blogger than I can't count to six.... I've missed out a damn colour what a fool!!! Looks like it's the 5th shade along..... I'm sorry guys)
4 Bottom Matte Shades
When I first opened this palette up I thought.... oooo could I pull those shades off? But once I swatched these colours up my arm I fell in love! This palette is perfect for a glamorous out night and I can't wait to have a play around with it!
Purple is meant to bring out green eyes so I think that 3rd shade in is going to get alot of use plus the 4 bottom shades will be great for the brow bone and tear ducts!
Top 6 Shades
 4 Bottom Shades
For only £3.99 these palettes are total and utter steal, thank you Make-up Rev for another outstanding collection!

Crown Brush Professional Contouring Palette Review

Crown brush won my heart over this summer when I tried out some of their brushes for the first time! BUT this brand doesn't only make fabulous brushes, oh no, they also have a gorgeous ever-growing make-up range to go alongside them.
I'm a big sucker for palettes, mainly because I'm a sucker for anything pretty/fabulous, and the contouring palette from Crown is no exception!
This 26 shade masterpiece contains a full of a range of colours to help enhance nearly any complexion and I have fallen hook, line and sinker for it.

This palette comes in a back slick, slim hard case which is easy to store and looks as professional as it's name!

The range of neutral shades are right up my street, I'm a bit of wimp when it comes to brights, especially on the eyes so these pinks, tans and slight plums are perfect for me for both my everyday make-up and my awkward attempts at creating a smokey eye. (Yes, I'm not the greatest.... but I blame my eyes - they are so small!)

Crown Brush Professional Contouring Palette*

I thought I would highlight a few of my favourite shades above! The bottom two I have been loving using together daily - the left tan shade to help contour my cheeks and then the warmer pinker tone alongside it!
You only need to tiniest bit of the bottom right hand shade as it is pretty bold but when blended across the cheek it gives a gorgeous rosey gold shimmer.

The other shades pointed out are the ones I have been using most on my eyes, they blend together so well and I've actually been choosing this over my holy grail naked palette (along with another palette which I've also fallen in love with and which I'm sure you will all see soon!)
And..... there's a closer look for you! This shades are amazing quality, so pigmented and some gorgeous shades that you would pay a hell of alot more for if they were from somebody like Mac!

With both matte and shimmer shades to compliment and contour this versatile number from Crown Brush UK is a perfect addition to any make-up lovers collection whether just starting out or professionally. For just £19.99 I think this is a total steal and you can find out more and/or order it - here!

Hi Impact Brows - Eye & Brow Palette Review

Eyebrows are such a key thing when it comes to doing my make-up and feeling confident with it.
They really do frame your face and as a teen I hardly even thought about mine and how they looked - I just plucked those strays ones and avoid any form of uni-brow.
But.... over the last couple of years I have become very conscious of my eyebrows and what they look like and try my hardest to keep them the best I can.

I have HD Brows done regularly and it was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. I'm look constantly at new eyebrow products and reviews of them but I always seem to stray back to the same old, same old which I have become rather bored of - queue this new beaut in my life from Hi Impact Brows.
This is a 4 shade eye & brow palette from Hi Impact Brows. That's right it's an all in one which is super handy if you are on the go, have a small make-up bag or don't like too many products!
Hi Impact Brows - Eye & Brow Palette*
The packaging is a slick, shiny black rectangle compact small and simple enough for all cosmetic bags. (There's nothing worse than a handy product which comes in ridiculously large packaging)
Armed with a mirror and brush also this has got everything you need for eyebrows both and home and on the go!
I've always used my elf eyeliner brush for my eyebrow powders but this one included has worked fabulously, it's slightly thinner so it makes it easier to be precise and not overload the product.
The shades left to right :
Blonde
Cinnamon Brown
Chocolate Brown
Black
The colours can be used individually or mixed together to create a perfect shade for everyone and anyone's eyebrows.
Not only good for brows though these powders are great for both a subtle daytime eyeshadow look and a gorgeous smokey eye! (The black works great as an eyeliner!)

These are mineral based powders and are said to be long-lasting and anti-smudge, I definitley need this as I'm forever accidentally wiping my forehead and therefore my eyebrow/s which has had some hilarious/unfortunately consequences for my face! (Like that woman in the movie Just Go With It hahaha!)
Top to bottom : Black, Chocolate Brown, Cinnamon Brown, Blonde.
So I tested out the shades and decided Cinnamon Brown is the perfect shade for me at the moment - I love the warmth to it!
My eyebrows are really sparse at in the centre and I've been trying to grow them back for years - this is why eyebrow products are so important to me - I look ridiculous without! Also after a couple of weeks my HD Brows tint does tend to fade and my eyebrows are so naturally light that its nice to easily be able to fake the colour each morning!
This stuff applies like a dream and is so easy to build up to help get the shape and density right for you! I normally use a pencil and then a powder but the quality of this is so good that it's the only product I need to fill them!

To find out more head over to DeeandCo, this beaut retails for £17.99!

Would You Rather? : The Beauty Edition

Recently I was tagged by the awesome Emma over at Emsypickle to join in with this Would you rather? tag! I really enjoying posts like these and seeing everyones answers and seeing as it was a Beauty edition I thought why not?! So here we are the Would You Rather Beauty Edition Tag!

1) Would You Rather... Lose all of your mascara, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?

Easy peasy first question! Would have to loose my palettes and eyeshadows. I only ever really wear them for a nice occasion or when I got out so I think I couldn't easily live without them .... whereas mascara and lipstick - hell no!

2) Would You Rather... Chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

This is a tough one! I think I would have to say chop off all my hair! It would look awful but I hate the thought of never being able to cut it again - ewww! And there's extensions, hair pieces, wigs.... so I'd find a way to make it work!

3) Would You Rather... Have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

I'd have to say a coral cheek! I'm not one for blusher - especially pinks, so I would say coral!

4) Would You Rather... Have £1000 to spend all on clothes or all on make up?

Ahhhhh this is a toughy for me .... the thought of going on a major clothing spending spree is amazing BUT I'm going to be sensible and say Make-up. Mainly because it would last so so much longer! After I've worn something alot I'm over it and it will sit at the back of my wardrobe - whereas some fab make-up would last ages... and think how much you could buy with £1000!

5) Would You Rather... Apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?

I mean pink eyes are quite in and so are dark lips! But I think I'd say lipstick as eyeliner - I could rock that right? And think of all the colours of lipstick there are.... could get some great nudes and make a fab eyeliner!

6) Would You Rather...Only shop at MAC or Sephora?

Oh man.... Well I have neither of these near me haha so would be nice to shop at either! But I think as much as I like Mac I'd like the choice at Sephora with all the different brands (and they have perfumes!)

7) Would You Rather... Only use one eyeshadow or one lip colour for rest of your life?

One eyeshadow for sure! It would be a nice neutral nice colour - I HAVE to have my lip collection!

8) Would You Rather... Wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

You've got to say summer clothes in winter! Can easily layer up lots (and add some tights... people wear those in summer!) - the thought of being in heat with a huge jumper, scarf and jeans on is horrible!

9) Would You Rather... Have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

I'm such a sucker for dark nails - I think black looks gorgeous all year round.... but I think there is so much more choice with bright nails - pastels, neons, pinks, blues, greens, purples - I'd say bright!

10) Would You Rather... Give up your favourite lip product or favourite eye product?

I have so many favourites that I don't know what to say! I have to keep my fav mascara I'd say - so I'd give up my fav lip product (although that changes weekly!)

11) Would You Rather... Only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?

Messy bun! I basically do this everyday anyway!

12) Would You Rather... Never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?

Am I allowed lipstick and lipbalm? Because if the ban is just on lipgloss then I'd have to keep my nail colours! I cannot stand having bare nails - on both fingers AND toes... gross!

13) Would You Rather... Shave eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in each day?

hahahaha! I would rather shave my eyebrows and then pencil them in everyday! Sharpie... just no!

14) Would You Rather... Live without make up or nail polish?

I would rather live without nail polish! I wouldn't enjoy life without make-up, what would I spend my money on?! and I would look about 14!

I love doing a good tag post - a big thank you to the lovely Emma! Check out her answers here.

I tag : EVERYONE - let me know if you join in!

MAC Eyeshadow - Cranberry Review

I love mac and everything I own from them I treasure like a child. It's not a brand I can always afford and I have to really love something to splash out the money for it, even though I always know it will be worth it!
Something I have been looking at for a long, long while and totally lusting over is this eyeshadow, Cranberry.
I was in Bournemouth recently which is actually the closest MAC to my hometown on the Isle Of Wight - other than that it is London (way too far to travel for an eyeshadow!!)
Alot of my Mac purchases are bought online or on holiday and it's always exciting when I get new stuff... yes I'm that cool.
This shadow that I have been seen everywhere for months and months and even though it is only £12.50 (in the long run, not that expensive!) it has taken me a while to cough up the cash for it!
It is a gorgeous shimmery red/purple/copper colour, the best way to describe it - Cranberry. (funny that!)
I'm sure you have all seen this by now but if you haven't I'm sure you are falling in love right now!
This is definitely has more of a purple tint in real life  than the photos are making out - 'boo you whore camera!' but as you can see the colour and quality is of course amazing!
This is an absolutely perfect colour for Autumn and a fantastic addition to any collection!
I cannot wait to use it again and create some great smokey eyes with it!
And if this isn't the sort of colour you've used before -don't worry, me either - I was a little nervous it would look a bit crazy and OTT on me but it is subtle and blends so well, I used it along side my Urban Decay Naked palette and it worked great!

Have you bought this badboy yet? Any other Autumn coloured shadows you can recommend to me?
