March Favourites 2015

Another month down, another monthly favourites post for you all to see what I have been loving and obsessing over for the past 4 weeks! From eyelashes to naughty treats - here's my round-up of my favourites things from March!

Shane Dawson - I Hate Myselfie
Wooo I read a book this month - and it was bloody brilliant! I have been a fan of Shane's for years now and his inappropriate humour and hilarious persona's are right up my street. This book had going from laughing out loud about Shane and his awkward swimsuit experience to shedding a tear about his dear Grandmother. All in all this 'collection of essays' is downright awesome, if you are a fan of Shane I highly recommend it!

Katy Perry Killer Queen Perfume
I mentioned this earlier on this month about how much of a bargain it was! Just over £13 it worked out as for a 100ml bottle - you don't get bargains like that often! I love the scent and it really lasts - I've been using it round my home aswell as on myself alot this month.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer - Ivory
A new concealer from Rimmel, and I have to say I have used it every single day since purchasing it! It is fab for covering my dark circles and lasts all day.

Bounty's
Oh dear.... it's true - I have been addicted to this chocolate and coconut treat! They are just so yummy and only £1 for 4 in co-op.... too tempting!

Barry M Waterproof Khol Eyeliner
I got this for my birthday back in February and have been loving it! Khol pencils are the best for me when doing my lower lash line - I try not to over-do eyeliner as I have really small eyes already and feel like it makes them even more teeny tiny! This stays on well and isn't too hard to get off either.

Eylure 101's
My favourite eyelashes at the moment - I have gone through lots of these this month with my trip to Germany and girly nights out! Perfect for my smaller eyes these give me the long eyelashes I've always wanted.

Ginger & Co Coconut Lipbalm
This stuff smells. so. good. - this new brand is killing it! I have a trio of these balms and this has to be my favourite. It's smooth and keeps my lips hydrated for ages!

Fake Bake Beyond Bronze Shimmer Brick
My baby! I have had this for about 4/5 years now after seeing Billie Faiers talking about it and it is now near enough empty (boo hoo!). I love it and I'm praying I can find a new one and it hasn't been discontinued!

MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick
I am so so happy that I finally got my hands on this! I have been wearing it constantly this month and have had so many people ask me what shade it is! If you can get your hands on it then do it, you won't regret it!

theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer
Contouring has taken over my life and I've found this is the perfect bronzer for me! The packaging is super cute and it's easy and compact which I like, theBalm have sooo many awesome products, I love the names they give them too.

No7 Airbrush Away Primer
This has been my everyday primer for a while now, I'm even onto my second tube. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and silky, ready for the rest of my make-up. I'm dreading it running out as I don't want to have to pay full price for it! (I got both tubes on Black Friday with a voucher so they were less then £5 each! - the usual price is £19.50)

E45 Overnight Hand Cream
The cure for my overly dry and slightly cracked hands. This stuff is a god send, it honestly works so so well, especially on my knuckles.

This Week I'm Loving... #12

Kacey Musgraves - Biscuits
I am a huge fan of Kacey and have been since she released her first album (which is one of my favourite albums ever!)! Everytime she brings out a new song I download it before I've even listened to it in full - always know I'm going to love it and this is no different. Biscuits is amazing and I hope it brings her the success she deserves especially over her in the UK!

Once Upon A Time
I've been watching this show for years and a couple of weeks ago I thought I would try and catch up (I was a few episodes into season 4 when I was last watching)! So after watching a couple online Netlfix decided to add OUAT to it's collection of awsomeness! YES!! They have every single episode and upload the new one every week after it has aired in the US (just like PLL!) so I'm now upto date and waiting for the next episode!

Shane Dawson - I Hate Myselfie
Book time! I have been waiting for this to be available for months now, I'm a huge fan of Shane, I've been watching him since 2009 - he seriously knows how to make me laugh! I've just finished it and was so, so impressed ith how good it is! It's a "collection of essays" so like short stories from his life but not in any order - which is great! It never lost my attention and had my peeing my pants laughing to holding back the tears! I really hope there's more where this came from.

Katy Perry Killer Queen Perfume
You may have seen that I got this as a total bargain a couple of weeks ago! Just over £13 for a 100ml bottle - amazing right? I love the scent and after seeing KP last week again it's made me love it even more!

Cift Easy Lift Anti-Bac Wipes
Hahaha am I actually featuring these on my blog? Yes, I am! After going on a major cleaning mission this week I fell in love with these. I bought them when they were on offer and they are great! If you like handy wipes for around the home these are for you!

Benefit High Beam
The original highlighter in my life. I have so many of the miniatures bopping around my make-up dresser that I might aswell have a full sized one! I love this stuff, a gorgeous pinky pearly highlight, probably my favourite product from Benefit.

Tangle Teezer Blow-Styling Brush
Anything to make blow-drying my hair easier is a winner in my eyes - here's everything I have to say on it --- here.

theBalm Bahama Mama Bronzer
Contouring has become a day-to-day occurrence for me and this bronzer is one of my go-to products to help me create Kim Kish looks. (okay so I contour 0% like Kim K but it's the trying that counts right?) Anyway this matte bronzer is one of the best I've come across and not the most expensive either!

Nivea Raspberry Lip Butter
This little beauty is living on my bedside table at the moment. I slap a load on before I go to sleep, smells yummy and keeps my lips for feeling dry and chapped.

What have you been loving this week?

48 Hours In Berlin : OOTD's

Hey guys, I'm back! Sorry for the lack of posts the last few days but I've been away in Germany so have been super busy and you know... sometimes actual life comes before blogging #sorry!

Three friends and I went to Berlin Thursday - Saturday and had the best time, we actually went to see Katy Perry on her Prismatic World Tour (again) but also found time to do lots of sight-seeing whilst there too, which was great!
Today's post is just a quick outfit post of 3 of the outfits I wore when there, I'd put up a few photos on both Twitter and Instgram and actually had a few people ask me where things are from so I thought why not pop it into a post for you all!
Sorry the photos aren't that in depth, I'll be honest and say my blog wasn't the first thing on my mind when away - which was actually really nice as I normally put way too much pressure on myself so it was good to just relax and enjoy everything while I was there - so the photos are just quick shots but hopefully you can get the jist and see everything!

Thursday Evening - Walk & Dinner (Me & the Berlin Wall!)
Jacket - New Look
Roll Neck - New Look
Skirt - New Look
Boots - New Look
Bag - H&M

Saturday Day - Bus Tour & Exploring

Bargain Of The Week : Katy Perry Killer Queen 100ml

Sometimes I find a bargain so good that I feel the need to tell the world and this week I have one of those incredible bargains!
Yes, I managed to get a total and utter steal so treated myself to a new everyday perfume.
Retailing normally for £38.50 this 100ml of Killer Queen is down to just £14.99 at Boots (plus I got a bit of cheeky discount so it worked out at only £13.18 overall - how insane is that!?)

This scent is perfect for both daytimes and evenings alike, it's a fun and playful scent whilst having a hint of maturity about it too!
The bottle is gorgeous, I love it's individual shape and I'm so chuffed to have a 100ml in my life - most of my perfumes are either 30ml or 50ml so I feel like I need to be careful with the amount I'm spritzing, whereas this is huge and for the price I paid I could use it as air freshener for all I care! LOVE love love it!
(Plus I'm off to see Katy Perry for the fifth time this week so what perfect timing!!!)

Have you found any bargains this week that you want to share?

This Week I'm Loving... #2

Katy Perry Royal Revolution
Well, this was a total and utter bargain! I got the gift set of this fragrance from Boots after Christmas and it was only £11.75! I bought it online without even smelling it, which, yes, was a little risky but for that price I was willing to take the risk! I LOVE scent and have been using it every single day.... very tempted to try and get another one of those gift sets!

Friends
I've always loved Friends, it's one of those shows that I can just put on whatever time and whatever mood I'm in. Over Christmas I have been watching so much of it and my love for those 6 guys has been totally rekindled! Ross, of course, is still my ultimate favourite!

Peppermint Tea
After the junk and over-eating that Christmas and New Year bought into my life I have been making sure that every evening I have had a mug of this stuff! It really does help me feel less bloated and meh! It's good stuff give it a go!

Dyson Animal
This was my main present from my parents this year for Christmas. For over a year now my Boyfriend and I have been using his work Henry Hoover for our home but it was such a pain having to go and get it out the can out the time. Now, at first I thought - a hoover for Christmas... man that is such a grown up boring present... oh how I was wrong! I bloody love this thing! It is AMAZING! I've been using it with my favourite perfumes aswell to make my home smell amazing!

Heads Up
If you haven't played this game yet, go and download it! I had of course seen this on Ellen and when I found out that it was available for iPhone I quickly headed to the app store and forked out the reasonable 69p for it! My friends and I had a blast playing this on NYE, it is hilarious PLUS it films it all for you so you can play it back and laugh at everyone all over again!

Uggs
About 2 months ago I sadly said goodbye to my trusty Ugg boots that I had had for the past 6 or so years! After about a week I realised how much I relied on them as a quick and easy shoe to chuck on when popping out or chilling at a friends house! My boyfriend also realised this and the cheeky little bugger bought me a brand new pair for Christmas! I got the same again, the classic short Chestnut, and I LOVE them! Sorry if you're an Ugg hater but, for me, these boots rock.

Ultimate Blends - The Sleek Restorer Shampoo & Conditioner
You may have seen in my last TWIL post that I mentioned the hair oil from this collection! After trying out a different shampoo from the Ultimate Blends and hating it I decided that The Sleek Restorer duo were definitely the ones for me, so while they were on offer I snapped them up! I'm nearly out of them now (and I got some new hair bits for Christmas to try) but they have returned my hair to a much better state and also kept it smelling amazing!

Yankee Candle Christmas Cookie
SMELLS.SO.GOOD. Even when not burnt I can smell this thing and I love it!

Katy Perry's Prismatic World Tour : OOTD & Concert

If you follow any form of my social media or have heard from me in the last 24 hours you will clearly know that last night (Friday 30th) I ventured up to London and went to the O2 to see the incredible Katy Perry!

Now this was the 4th time I'd seen her so of course I knew I was in for an amazing show from an amazing artist!

Me & my friends had bought these tickets back in November when they were released so for the last 6 months we have just been doing a constant countdown to May 30th - and I can't believe it's been and gone already!
So I thought I'd share with you a few magical photos from the evening and my OOTD (because they are always fun!)
Boat journey done we headed for our train to Waterloo - as you can see ... we all love a good statement piece! We also thought we'd make some memories and jump in a photobooth before our train left!
We had Reflection Section tickets we meant we were in the pit in the middle of the stage!
OUTFIT
Necklace : New Look
Top : New Look
Trousers : New Look
Shoes : New Look
So yeah.... it's all from New Look!
In the Reflection Section!
So there you are.... an another amazing night of my life complete thanks to Katy Hudson Perry! She really is so so talented and the amount of thought, effort and detail that goes into every second of her shows is just outstanding!
Praying they'll be another chance for me to see the Prismatic World Tour again before it ends next year!
KATYCAT FOREVER.
Thank you Katy xxx

October Favourites

Another month down in 2013 which of course means only one thing - another favourites post here for you all!
As usual I have some products/things that I have been loving over the last 4 weeks and actually this month everything is new to me. Products I've never used before until recently - and I've found some gems!
Lots of make-up ones for you all this month and of course there's some cheeky music in there for you too!
As winter is more or less here I am getting more and more pale by the day. So, fake tans and instant tans are something that I am going to be relying on constantly to help me looking at least a tin bit normal/healthy. I love to fake tan but I struggle to fit it into my schedule sometimes (although I have recently been using a new gradual tan which I will be uploading a post about very soon!) so sometimes a quick fix is all I need! This is the "Glow Getter" from Soap and Glory it is £10.50 and it has been doing the job of making me look slightly better very well! Like a spray foundation you just hold the can around 20cm away for your body and spray to get a gorgeous even toned tan in seconds - perfect (especially for your legs!)
Now this is the funkiest looking eyeliner I ever owned! I picked this up ue to mere curiosity  I had never seen an eywliner like this before! I love khol liners and tend to always gravitate towards them over a normal pencil or liquid liner!  This stuff works so well,  it has a lovely creamy type forumla and it stays on for hours - really impressed and now a firm favourite in my make-up bag!
Rimmel lipsticks are up there with my favourites in my collection - always such great quality for the price and such amazing shades!
This month I have been obsessed with the new Moisture Renew lipsticks from them.  I own a couple from years ago and although they are great they don't have a patch on the new shades/formula! These lipsticks are incredible after just one swatch the colour is so thick and pigmented, you wouldn't believe! I am so so impressed with these and have so far bought 2 of the newer shades but I have my eye on a few others aswell already!
I have been eyeing this up for months and months and after hearing so many incredible things about this stuff a couple of weeks ago I decided to splash out and try it out for myself!
This is hydraluron from Indeed Labs and is £24.99. A little more expensive than I would normally pay but from everything I had heard I didn't mind paying out! I have been loving this stuff, I use it every morning and night after using my toner (Liz Earle Skin Tonic) before I put on my moisturiser and it just makes my skin feel so amazingly silky smooth, plump and radiant! It has made my complexion look and feel so much more healthy looking and moisturised - totally worth the price tag, a little goes a long way with this stuff!
Concealer is something I've always been a bit lazy with. Where I am quite lucky with my complexion I only ever really use it on my under eyes. This is a fairly new product from Seventeen and is called Phwoarr Paint. This stuff works so so well on my bags, I just dab a bit on with my finger and blend it in with one of my Real Techniques brushes - bobs your uncle... no more tired looking Kirstie!
I never change my day-to-day foundation, I have been using True Match fro L'oreal for years and still love it! But a few weeks ago I spontaneously decided to try out this foundation from Bourjois.
It's not a new product and I know its a firm favourite with alot of you... and I can see why! This stuff is gorgeous and is up there with my True Match foundation as a perfect full-coverage daytime foundation! I have used it more or less everyday since I purchased it and it will definitely be repurchased once I have run out! Top marks Bourjois!
Katy Perry. The goddess herself. Her new album, Prism, is out and if you haven't bought it yet then well..... you are a silly billy! Of course it is flawless, every track could be a single and every track is completely different to the last! Possibly her best album yet? It could be! I am loving Legendary Lovers, Walking on air and of course Roar!

What are your favourites from this past month?
