MeMeMe Lip Glide Velvet Finish Lip Colour - Winter Berry

Hello you lovely lot! I've got a smashing make-up review today for you all.... I feel like I haven't done anything make-up based in forever (it's been a week...) so I'm actually really excited to be writing this!
I'm feeling quite jolly, can you tell?

It's been a while since I talked about MeMeMe cosmetics... but that doesn't mean they haven't been in my life. The Flawless concealer has got to be in my top 3 concealers that I use and my boxed blush has found it's way back out now the sun is shining.

Now to talk about the new product on the block - Lip Glide.
MeMeMe Lip Glide's are their new range lip crayons.
I am a HUGE fan of lip crayons, especially at this time of year. They are so easy to put on and the ones I've used have also had great pigmentation and fab stay time.

The lip glides are a chunky pencil design, like a lip liner but a whole lot bigger, these are made with just the perfect thickness to make application precision easy peasy - even for us clumsy make-up users.

This is perfect for me, it's so easy to fill the lips in and it's a million times quicker than a lip liner, plus you don't even have to use another products alongside it!
I mean you can, this is fab to pop on underneath your lipstick or gloss but it's a bold stand alone shade too, with amazing wear-ability and long lasting effects - they've called it the 'new generation of colour.'

The shade I have here is Winter Berry. Yes you may be thinking - but it's summer? Berry shades are sooo last season but I would say no! I love wearing dark lips all year round. I think they look great with bright florals and summer outfits!

I LOVE this shade, it reminds me of MAC's Rebel (one of my all time favourites) and I have been wearing it ALOT! If you've seen a photo of me lately with dark lips, 9 times out of 10 it was probably this! It's so smooth and doesn't dry out the lips out all #winning
With of 5 different shades to choose from and a gorgeous velvet finish these are a definite hit for all beauty lovers. They are priced at £6.95 each which I think is a great price - personally I prefer it to everyones favourite lip crayon from Bourjois AND they are cheaper! You can find out more - here.

NEW Make-Up Revolution I ♥ Make-Up The Wow Stick Collection

An exciting post today! That's right I have whole NEW collection from the fabulous Make-up Revoution!
I've mentioned this brand a few times over the last few months, I've been so impressed with everything I've tried from them so far and these are no exception, so grab a cup of tea and settle down for a review.......
Lip crayons have slowly made there way into my most worn lip products over the past year or so. At first I didn't get the hype around them but after buying product after product I have fallen hook, line and sinker for them!
So of course this collection seemed right up my make-up obsessed street.
Make-Up Revolution Super Wow Colour Stick Collection*
With a range of colours this 8 piece collection has a shade for everyone. From a pretty nude to summer brights and autumn darks, I am loving them!

Plus look how cute all the names are, I mean Sunday Girl - that's got to be a blogger dedication right?
I love products that have pretty names, lip shades that are just numbers are so boring (Barry M take note please), I want the job of choosing names for shades!!
Now for a bit of a negative point.... the packaging isn't great and I say this for mainly just one reason. All the tubes look exactly the same when they are out of their boxes.
There is no form of identification on the individual crayons so once out the box you literally have no idea what shade it is! The boxes are cute and I like that the they are the shades of the product but it's hard to match them back together again once you've taken them out, and to be honest I normally don't keep the boxes!
Thank you to my dog for walking past and leaving a hair behind - photo ruiner!
As you can see the range of colours is fab, I am loving Atomic - definitely going to be a holiday shade for me and Maria is the perfect Autumn/Winter colour.
These are matte crayons which I find are great for a long lasting effect, they have amazing pigmentation and gives you a bold colour for hours.
Left to Right :

Another fabulous range of lip crayons and at only £2.99 each these are a total steal! They are easy to apply and the colour really does last! I am proper chuffed with these, a big high five and thank you coming your way MUR!

POTW #20 : Rimmel Colour Rush Lip Crayon - I Want Candy

Pink lip products and I go together like pea and carrots. I am obsessed and as Miley would say ... I can't stop and I won't stop -  they just keep on coming and my collection is literally growing by the day.... I have issues okay!
You may have seen this in my Boots Haul video I uploaded last week! This is one of the Rita Ora lip crayon from Rimmel and I had been eyeing it up for a while!

It is a gorgeous barbie bubblegum pink shade - perfect for summer! Lip crayons are my favourite at the moment, fab colour, great pigmentation and super hydrating and smooth! One of my top go-to colours at the moment ... so tempted to get some more of these Rimmel beauts.....

POTW #12 : Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon - Peach On The Beach

Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon - Peach On The Beach .... I am well and truely in love with you.

Now I know I'm a bit late on the colour boost love bandwagon here but at least I'm on it right?
I've been eyeing these beauts up or months and months (since the likes of fellow beauty lovers such as Tanya & Zoe starting bigging them up) but with my endless supply of lip products at home I've always mananged to talk myself out of splashing out buying one!

That was until I have a bit of a mental breakdown in Boots recently and thought "why not spend some points" and had a little spend up - and I am so glad I did! (Haul here.)
I choose the peach shade as it's not the type of colour that I have lots and lots of!
These lip crayons as super hydrating and glossy and I'm totally and utterly addicted to applying it!
I have worn this day after day since buying it and am actually gutted I hadn't bought it sooner, I have been majorly missing out!
The colour is a fab peachy pink and even though it is just a lip crayon these are so pigmented! I am now desperate for more and am so tempted to head back to Boots and abuse the 3 for 2 offer!

Have you tried the Colour Boost lip crayons yet? What's your favourite shade?

Bargain Boots Haul

A haul! Remember those?
It's been a good while since one of these has appeared on A Yellow Brick Blog - mainly because I have been saving my money/have no money.
BUT I have  cheeky little one to share with you all today and most of this stuff I purchased with my Boots advantage card points and more or less all of them were total bargains (my fav!) - I think only 1 item cost me more than £3 - so all is good!
Haircare
Garnier Ultimate Blends The Sleek Restorer Shampoo & Conditioner
Newbies out on he shelves of the UK, I have been eyeing these up since the day they were released. Mainly because of the scents - I am obsessed with just smelling everything when mooching round Boots, does anyone else do this? I saw the larger bottles of these were half price so only £1.94 each so of course picked up this duo - with coconut oil and cocoa butter surely this can't be bad!

Frizz-Ease Overnight Repair Formula
This was £1.75..... yes I kid you not! Under £2 for a full-sized John Frieda overnight treatment - hell yes. Love a good clearance bargain and I got a few in this trip! I'm looking forward to trying this out especially with the weather getting a little warmer - more frizz is bound to try and creep it's way into my life and I'm just not having it!

Lee Stafford Mini Poker Straight Treatment
50p!!!! Fifty British piece for this mini treatment tube! What a steal! I'm going to save this for before a big night out when I want straight glossy soft locks!

V05 Smoothly Does It Straightening Lotion
Now this was actually quite a random purchase - I had to get my boyfriend's hair stuff which is by VO5 and I noticed their styling products were 2 for £5! His stuff was about £3.20 ... so clearly I had to get myself something if it was just going to cost me an extra £1.80! This is what I found - it looks fab and is £6.29 on its own so to get this along with the boyf's hair wax for just £5 - bargain city! Really looking forward to trying this out!

L'oreal Elvive Fibrology Hair Mask
Bought it. Tried it. LOVE it. This made my hair feel amazing - I could run my fingers through my hair straight after the shower - whereas normally I'm there with my moroccanoil and tangle teezer trying to get rid of all the knots and craziness! It was half price at £2.54 and think I may invest in another to keep me going!
Skincare
Boots Essentials Cucumber Eye Gel
After recently trying out the face mask from this brand I set out on a mission to find another product to try! This like the mask was only 99p on offer and after reading so many rave reviews I couldn't resist! Bring on de-puffed eyes and hopefully smaller bags!

Nivea Soft Cream 200ml
This stuff is a god send and lasts for months and months - I swear the last one I bought was last summer and I haven't even finished it yet! Saying that it is near the end and this had about 1/3 off and had a cute limited edition packaging so grabbed it while I could! This is a lovely moisturiser I use for more or less anything and I love the smell of Nivea products!

Montagne Creamy Coconut Face Mask Sachet
This sachet was only 66p so thought I would grab it for the night time I decide to give myself a bit of a pampering. I love the smell of coconut and heard this works so well at hydrating the skin so can't wait to give it a whirl!

Boots Double Faced Cotton Wool Pads
Can't live without these badboys. I don't know how anyone can use small thin cotton pads - I have to have these thick huge double sided ones! I use these mainly for my Liz Earle Skin Tonic which I use twice a day - my routine is incomplete without it! This are also great for removing nail polish - just one pad can do nearly all my fingers!
Lips
Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon - 04 Peach On The Beach
This is a product I have been eyeing up for months and months and months - ever since they were announced really!
I have seen so many people wearing it, talking about it, blogging about it and so when I spotted it the other day I knew it was about time I bought it (and it was with my Boots points so didn't feel like I was splashing out on an unnecessary item!) This colour is gorgeous and I love the finish of these lip crayons - I can tell this is going to be one of my most worn of Spring/Summer this year and I am now itching to buy the rest of the collection!

Burt's Bees Revitaliing Lipbalm with Blueberry & Dark Chocolate
My addiction to buying lip balms seems to be never ending! This was also a clearance item so for only £1.85 I couldn't just walk past without adding it to my basket of goodies! This smell so yummy and is a great lip balm! Burt's Bees are a brand I really want to try more of so if you have any recommendations let me know!

So there we have it - a little Boots haul for you all! Any products in there that you own/have tried? Have you bought anything from Boots lately?
