30 Day Snap #30 - The End

I made it!! I have successfully managed to complete the 30 Day Snap - Louise I hope you're proud! 
Here is my June in a nutshell (sang in Harry Hill TV Burp tune ... if you are from the UK and have a sense of humor you will understand...)!
I actually made this photo collage earlier and then went onto Louise's blog and have seen she's done exactly the same thing - great minds think alike eh?

30 Day Snap #28 - New Summer Shoes

So today was my day off so after getting my HD Brows done and a spot of lunch with two of my best friends we decided to head out and do a bit of shopping!
I've really wanted some comfy tan coloured going out shoes for this summer and have been looking around for a while!
 I wanted something with a chunky heel or a wedge for comfort and not too high so they can be worn more casually aswell (I've also gone off really really high heels recently - mid-height heels are coming back ladies!)
I found these gorgeous little beauties in ......... Matalan! For only £20! 
If these were in Topshop they would easily be over £65 and I love them! Perfect for summer with all types of outfits... now I've just got to wait for the sun to come out...

30 Day Snap #26 - Brush Love & A Sad Day

Returned home from work today to find these beauties waiting for me (Thank you Mr. Postman!) 
Been wanting these 4 for so so long (so far I only have the core collection and that is NOT enough!) and finally splashed out (yes I'm tight) and bought these Real Techniques brushes from feelunique.com.
I ordered  the Powder Brush, the Stippling Brush, the Blush Brush & the Expert Face Brush.
Now...I know they are all going to be amazing so I'm not going to bore you with a post about them because there is already hundreds out there but I thought they would be perfect for today's 30 Day Snap!

Had a really bad day today, one of my little doggies had to be put down so I'm very sad this evening :-( He was 13 and I know it was the best thing for him but I can't help but feel heartbroken, I've grown up with that little guy!

30 Day Snap #25 - Reading & Relaxing

Before I start I just wanted to share something ... it is 6 months until Christmas.... how is this possible already!!?! (also I'm sorry this photo has the same background.. aka my bedsheets as yesterday's 30 Day Snap, forgive me?)

Anyway now  have that off my mind... this is just a really quick 30 Day Snap post today! I feel exhausted and after chatting books and such on twitter with some lovely ladies I have decided it is time for me to get cosy in my bed, get my kindle and a cup of tea and have a good read before I enter the land of nod!
 I am currently reading Unwholly which is the second book in the Unwind series - which is so so brilliant I recommend! 
Books I have read/finished recently include, Unwind, The Delirium trilogy, The Eve Trilogy, Divergent, Insurgent and The Great Gatsby - all great reads (Especially the Delirium books!) 
I have so so many books on my wishlist on amazon but I have told myself I am not allowed to buy/download anymore until I have finished all the ones I have currently on my kindle and my shelf!

30 Day Snap #24 - Curing The Monday Blues

Monday blues are the worst! A nice relaxing Sunday all ruined by the dread of the alarm for Monday morning! 
So what better way to make yourself (myself) feel better than to SPEND MONEY!
As I've said before I have a shopping addiction. I love it, plain and simple! 
So today I thought I'd splash out on some new products and some necessities for the next short while! Hair products, lip products, skin care, toothpaste and more, although I only went to Boots & Liz Earle!

30 Day Snap #23 - "Choices In Life"

My 30 Day Snap today is a photo of a page from a book I own! The book is by Katie Piper  (if you are not from the UK and are unaware with who she is then google her, she is an inspiration)  and it is called Start Your Day With Katie!
Every page of the book is for a day of the year, like a calendar, and there is a different positive message, quote or a wise saying every single day - I love it! 
It is a really nice thing to read every morning and get your day startedwith and if you ever get bored it's amazing just to flick through and read some really great stuff!
I especially liked today's page so I thought I would include it on here!

30 Day Snap #21 - Friday Hair-Do

Happy Friday ladies and gents (sorry this post is going up a bit late!) Not alot went on today - went to work and then had a night in with the boyfriend! So I'd just thought I'd share with you how I had my hair today! 
I wear this style alot (French plait over my head then into a side ponytail plait) because I find it so quick and keeps my hair in place and out the way all day, so really easy and useful for work!

30 Day Snap #20 - A Night In With Soap & Glory

It's Thursday (I've made it to Day 20 of the 30 Day Snap Woohooo!) and not only am I super tired but I am just not looking/feeling my best either! So this evening seemed like the perfect time to chill out and use some of my favourite Soap & Glory products (AKA life-savers!)

If you haven't used Soap & Glory before.... go and give yourself a stern look in the mirror and get your act together!............this stuff is amazing - I haven't found a product of theirs yet that I don't like! The packaging, the names, the smells and the results are all winners (and so so much better than 99% of stuff out there on the UK drugstore market)! 
Here are just a few of my favourites that I've used today to help me relax, rewind and generally just make myself feel a bit better! (The Breakfast Scrub is my ultimate favourite, best smelling product ever.)

30 Day Snap #19 - Underrated Chocolate

Today I had a Drifter. Now if you aren't from the UK (do they sell them anywhere else?!) then you are seriously unlucky!
 I swear these chocolate bars are so underrated, I haven't had one for years and forgot how nice they are! And the fact it was only 35p (half price!) made it even better (although 
when did that become cheap for a chocolate bar? Sigh...)

30 Day Snap #17 - Disney DVD Duvet Day

Today is my only day off this week so I've decided that after having a major tidy up of my pigsty of a room and organising all my festival rubbish  I'm going to grab a cup of tea and snuggle up with lots of Disney movies - my favourite!
 Today really feels like a Sunday to me - can't get my head around the fact it is actually Monday!

30 Day Snap #16 - The End To A Great Weekend

It is Sunday which means it is the last day of the Festival (sad times -I'm not looking forward to going back to reality tomorrow!)

I've had a such a good weekend - best one of the year so far I'd say, great music, great friends, great memories..... and I actually think wearing heavy wellies for a whole weekend of constant walking and dancing has toned my legs a bit .... because they bloomin' well kill......every cloud! Always love the Festival and the fact it is basically on my doorstep makes me very proud! Tonight I will be watching The Script & Bon Jovi for sure!

 Here's a photo from up in the huge ferris wheel  in the main arena - if you ever go to a Festival I recommend you go up (it was only £5 - bargain) it is so cool seeing the size of the festival and how many people you are surrounded by (this is just a quick snap of the main stage area in the early evening)

30 Day Snap #14 - Wellingtons are a must.

Day one of the IOW Festival is down. And it was so much fun. Although I've woken up with a bit of a sore head and a crazy hair-do, it was so worth it! Highlights from last night were seeing Ms. Dynamite in the dance tent and going on the bumper cars! Today is where the Festival really starts though and I cannot wait to go and watch some amazing acts tonight.
 Here's a photo of me & my friend finally sat down after queuing in the mud and putting our tents up in the wind, ready for a drink or ten! (bit of a cheat as I took this photo yesterday but you guys can let me off right?)

30 Day Snap #13 - I LOVE WIGHT

So it is that time of year again! Time to get my tent making skills at the ready, my wellies on my feet and put this snazzy (uncomforatble) wristband on! 
Yup, I am off to the Isle of Wight Festival.... and yes before you say anything it's true, I do live here! (which means a good nights sleep and frequent showering) But we all still love to get to the campsite early and make sure we take it all in and enjoy the whole weekend! (we just get to go home when we want.... lucky eh?) 
Baring this in mind there maybe a little shortage of posts this weekend (although I am determined to keep up the 30 Day Snap) but I promise I will make up for it!

30 Day Snap #12 - Shopaholics Anonymous

Okay firstly, apologies that this is another clothing item for my 30 Day Snap,  but I have wanted this top for soooo long. 
Sometimes I'll see something and love it and then a few weeks later see it again and be over it, but this was different. It has been in my 'saved items' on ASOS for weeks and weeks now and I'm so so glad I finally splashed out (yes £18 to me is splashing out #tight) and ordered it.... along with a few other things - I have no self control!
I need to go to a Shopaholics Anonymous meeting pronto!
It is from River Island (although I bought it from ASOS as I get free delivery) and has this awesome batman print all over it! Like I said before I am obsessed with Little Mix and their style and this is them down to a 'tee' (bad pun alert!)
I am off to the IOW Festival tomorrow and can't wait to wear this with hopefully a denim dunagree dress! I know some of you may totally hate this but I really love prints and graphic tees like this and you can't go wrong with a good superhero!

30 Day Snap #10 - Who Run The World?

I took this earlier when I got back from my run (yup I'm doing that again!).
It is crazy how quickly you can loose your fitness and tone - a couple of weeks ago I was doing the Race For Life 5km run (in 28 minutes!) and now I'm struggling to do 3! But with that said I'm back out there and trying hard so hopefully it won't take me long to get better again and back looking like Paula Radcliff... okay maybe not! After my run I did 60 squats and 50 crunches - I'm fed up of these wobbley bits/love handles/bingo wings/thunder thighs I tell you - where do they even come from?! (definitely not the macdonalds and jaffa cakes I ate this weekend... noway!)

30 Day Snap #9 - The Perfect Company

Sunday in my opinion is a day of rest.... well okay I wouldn't go that far but a good bit of relaxation can't go a miss!
 Check out this perfect situation I have going on right here - 1. The new Company issue - I am obssessed with anything young Hollywood and I love Nina Dobrev, this issue is faultless, I love the interviews, the styling, the blog talk (obviously) and I think it is definitely the best magazine visually out there on shop shelves, I'm such a massive fan of Company! 2. A cup of green tea - my favourite, I could literally drink it all day everyday! 3. My sunglasses, this river island pair are my current stand-ins while I wait to be able afford another designer pair (my miu miu pair are wrecked :( ) 4. Jaffa Cakes - nothing needs to be said here - YUM.

30 Day Snap #8 - My Favourite Place

Today I headed down to my favourite place in the world! The beach near my house is by far one of my favourite places to be and with the weather being amazing I couldn't not go! I have the best memories from growing up here and it is beautiful- especially on a day like today! Only a ten minute walk away from my house whenever we can me and my friends love to come down here! Today I caught up with a few friends who have come home for the weekend and watched some beach football ( yup that is a legit sport!)  Think I've got some questionable tan lines developing though - opps! The sandals I'm wearing are from Topshop and my nail polish is Action by Essie!

30 Day Snap #7 - Festival Fashion Freak-Out

I am going to a Festival in LESS than a week.... yes, 6 days time I'll be loving life in a (hopefully not muddy) field! So today I've been pulling stuff out of my wardrobe trying to get some outfits together for it! I love festivals and I think anything goes when it comes to festival fashion, I love going there and checking out what everyone else is wearing and see how people have styled things! I think it's the best place to notice trends (I'm expecting a sea of dunagrees) and I'm hoping it isn't chucking it down with rain (like the forecast says) so I'll be able to wear some of this stuff without a rain-mac over the top!

30 Day Snap #6 - Walks in the park

I took this photo whilst I was walking my dogs earlier in my local park! (yup that's one of them in the photo) This park is literally a 5 minute walk away from my house and leads down to my favourite beach ever. So many amazing childhood memories here!

 One thing I've never noticed though is this tree! My brother, who I was with, said it's been there for a couple of years now, but I had no idea! The top has been carved in too some amazing owls and I think a squirell aswell - thought it would be perfect for today's 30 day snap!
